Description of the Related Art Generally, in a manufacturing process of a disk such as a magnetic disk or an optical disk, there are processing steps such as polishing the disk, roughening (texturing), or applying a lubricant to the disk. is there. In the process of processing such a disc, for example, FIG.
As shown in FIG. 3, a chuck 204 that can be expanded in the radial direction is provided at the tip of the spindle 203, and the inner edge of the circular locking hole 202 formed in the center of the disk 201 is locked and held by this chuck 204 to rotate the disk 201. A supporting device is used.

Since the sandwiching portion 4 covers the front and back surfaces around the inner edge of the circular locking hole 202 of the disk 201, the front and back surfaces around the inner edge of the circular locking hole 202 of the disk 201 are necessarily processed surfaces to be processed. Therefore, it is practically impossible to set the entire surface of one side or both sides of the disk 201 as the processing surface to be processed.

In 04, a method of locking and holding only the inner edge of the circular locking hole 202 of the disk 201 is adopted, but in this type, since there is no pinching portion for restricting the holding posture of the disk 201, the chuck 204 A fundamental technical problem arises in that the holding posture of the disc 201 tends to tilt when holding the disc 201.

For example, as shown in FIG. 10, on the back surface side of the disc 201, a cylindrical rear guide 205 in which the spindle 203 is loosely fitted is provided so as to be movable back and forth by, for example, an air cylinder 206. While forming a disc contact surface 207 orthogonal to the axial direction of the spindle 203, a front guide 208 is provided on the front surface side of the disc 201 so as to be movable back and forth, for example, by an air cylinder 210, and the disc 201 of the front guide 208 is provided. A disk contact surface 209 is provided on the surface facing the
The disk 201 is sandwiched between the disk contact surface 207 of the rear guide 205 and the disk contact surface 209 of the front guide 208, and in this state, the chuck 204 locks the inner edge of the circular locking hole 202 of the disk 201. The ones that are designed to be retained are provided.

When the disc 201 is sandwiched between the No. 5 and the front guide 208, the posture of the disc 201 is changed to the spindle 203.
Since the chuck 204 is adjusted to a normal shape orthogonal to the axial direction, the concern that the holding posture of the disk 201 is inclined when the inner edge of the circular locking hole 202 of the disk 201 is locked and held by the chuck 204 is effectively avoided.

Since 1 is contacted and pinched, not only the fundamental technical problem that the front and back surfaces of the disk 201 are easily scratched remains, but also the disk contact surface 209 of the front guide 208.
Since the pressing force of the disc 201 by the disc varies, the accuracy of the holding posture of the disc 201 by the rear guide 205 and the front guide 208 is limited, and in order to suppress the surface deflection of the disc 201 when the disc 201 is rotationally supported. There was still room for improvement.

Although the rear guide 205 can be retracted along the axial direction of 203, the rear guide 205 cannot be completely separated from the spindle 203. For this reason, for example, when performing texture processing on a disk substrate of a magnetic disk, for example, a roughening tape with a slurry abrasive is pressed against the surface of the disk substrate with a contact roll, and the contact roll is pressed against the disk substrate. However, dirt such as slurry easily adheres to the rear guide during texture processing, which hinders the posture regulation of the disc 201 and causes scratches in the surface of the disc 201. In addition to technical problems, it is necessary to adjust the posture of the rear guide 205 in advance in order to maintain a good holding posture of the disc 201. However, the posture of the rear guide 205 is adjusted in consideration of the positional relationship with the spindle 203. It is necessary to adjust the posture of the rear guide 205, which is a technical problem. There is a problem.

The disk contact surface 7 is set to a predetermined disk posture regulating surface, and the back side of the disk 1 contacts the disk contact surface 7. On the other hand, the air blowing guide 8 advances by, for example, an advancing / retreating movement mechanism, and is arranged close to and away from the front surface of the disk 1. The air blowing guide 8 blows air 9 onto the front side surface of the disc 1 from a direction substantially orthogonal to the disc contact surface 7, so that the air pressure causes the disc 1 to move toward the disc posture regulating guide 5 side. The disc 1 is pressed, and the rear surface side of the disc 1 is closely arranged to the disc contact surface 7 of the disc posture regulation guide 5, and the disc 1 is regulated in a regular posture (regulating surface along the disc contact surface 7). In this state, if the chuck 4 at the tip of the spindle 3 holds and holds the inner edge of the locking hole 2 of the disk 1, the disk 1 is fixed to the spindle 3 while being held in a normal posture. When the disc 1 is fixed to the spindle 3 in this way, the disc posture regulation guide 5 and the air blowing guide 8 are retracted to a retracted position separated from the disc 1 and then the disc 1 is subjected to predetermined processing. To be done.

It can be understood that the number is suppressed to the following level, which is a significant improvement over the conventional method of FIG. Therefore, the accuracy of the texture processing is further improved, and the degree of roughening of the front surface and the back surface of the magnetic disk substrate 20 is kept more uniform.

The situation of adhering to the contact surface is effectively avoided. For this reason, the rubber-lined disk contact surface of the rear guide 51 on the disk set stage a is contaminated with slurry or the like, the posture regulation accuracy of the magnetic disk substrate 20 is impaired, and the inside of the magnetic disk substrate 20 is scratched. There are very few concerns.

It becomes easy to adjust the mounting posture of 51. Further, when the magnetic disk substrates 20 of different sizes are textured, that is, when a job is changed, it is only necessary to replace the parts. Therefore, the conventional method adjusts or pushes the gap between the rear guide and the front guide. Job change is easier than having to adjust the pressure.

In order to optimize the holding posture with respect to, for example, FIG.
As shown in (c), a ring-shaped air reservoir recess 6 having a different diameter is formed on the surface of the guide body 66 of the front guide 61.
A plurality of 3a, 63b are formed, while the nozzle plate 67 attached to the guide body 66 is provided with the air reservoir recesses 63.
By opening nozzles 65a and 65b, which are connected to a and 63b, respectively, and selecting air supply paths A and B from an air supply source with a switching valve in accordance with the size of the magnetic disk substrate 20, for example, Reservoir recess 63a or 6
It is preferable to supply air to any of 3b and change the blowing position of the air 64 for each magnetic disk substrate 20 of different size.

While a disc attitude control guide is provided to move forward and backward, an air blowing guide that is placed close to the disc is provided to move forward and backward on the surface side of the disc, and the disc is guided by air pressure from the air blowing guide. Since it is possible to fix the disc to the spindle in the state where it is in close contact with the disc contact surface, the surface side of the disc is non-contact compared to the conventional contact method with the disc contact surface, and , The pressing force of the disk is only a certain low pressure air pressure, so not only can the disk scratch be effectively avoided, but the disk is locked by the air. Since it is easy to equalize the pressing pressure around the surface, the surface run-out during disk rotation can be kept smaller than in the conventional method (when the disk abutting surface is held, the contact pressure tends to change depending on the contact state, etc.). Can effectively prevent the situation where the disc adheres to the disc posture regulation guide, which reduces the disc posture regulation accuracy and scratches in the disc surface, and the posture of the disc posture regulation guide is separated from the spindle. It becomes possible to adjust the posture of the disc posture regulation guide by that much, and it is also possible to change the pressing condition at the time of job change (replacement of each disc to be processed, etc.). It will be possible to easily change jobs accordingly. Kill.
