Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve good hermetic junctions and to enhance yield and productivity by forming two projections on that surface of at least one of plural components of a magnetron where a joining brazing filler material is located.. CONSTITUTION:A metallic seal 12 is hermetically joined to an anode structure 11. A flat surface 12a is formed on the top of the seal 12, and a metallic ring 13 is hermetically joined to the surface 12a. A metallic ring 14 and an insulating cylinder 15 are hermetically joined, respectively, to the ring 13 and the ring 14. A metallic ring 16 is hermetically joined to the cylinder 15, and an exhaust metallic pipe 17 is hermetically joined to the ring 16. The seal 12 of the rings 13, 14, 16, and the components of the cylinder 15 and the like are joined together by arranging joining brazing filler materials 18-22 at the junctions of the components, and heating the junctions. In this case, the inner end of the ring 13, for example, is curved upwards to form a projection 13a. When the root of the projection 13a has a curved surface, the position of the brazing filler material 19 is not easily adjusted, so the root is made as perpendicular to the projection as possible. A burr is provided on the flat surface of the ring 14 to form a projection 14a.

As described above, in the case of constructing a magnetron, components are joined together by using an annular brazing material for joining. Therefore, when the parts to be joined, such as a metal ring, are floated or eccentric, or the brazing material escapes, the joining may be insufficient and the airtightness may not be ensured. Therefore, the yield is deteriorated and the productivity is lowered.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a magnetron constructed by joining a plurality of components with a brazing material, and at least one of the plurality of components has a surface on which the brazing material is located. A protrusion is formed in the direction in which the brazing material flows when the parts are joined together.

According to the above construction, the projection is formed on the surface of the component to be joined with the brazing material. Therefore, when the parts are joined together by the brazing material, even if the brazing material melts and flows out, the edge of the brazing material comes into contact with the protrusions of the parts and the position of the brazing material is defined. Therefore, the brazing material and the component are not eccentric when the components are joined. Moreover, since the projections of the parts serve as walls, the brazing material does not escape.

When the bent portion is formed at the edge of the joining brazing material, the position of the parts to be joined can be defined by the bending portion of the brazing material. Therefore, the eccentricity of the brazing material and the component can be prevented at the time of joining. It is also possible to suppress warpage and bending of the brazing material itself. In this way, yield and productivity can be improved.

The metal rings 13, 14, 1 described above are used.
The parts such as 6, the metal sealing body 12, the insulating cylinder 15 and the like are joined by arranging the joining annular brazing materials 18 to 22 on the joining parts of the parts and heating the joining parts.

By the way, in the case of the above embodiment, for example, a portion surrounded by a circle inside the metal ring 13, that is, the metal ring 1
The inner tip of 3 is bent upward to form a protrusion 13a. At this time, it is difficult to regulate the position of the brazing material 19 if the root portion of the protrusion 13a has a curved surface. Then, for example, the brazing material 19 is arranged so that the tip of the brazing material 19 is in contact with the root portion of the protrusion 13a. In this case, the tip of the brazing material 19 and the root of the protrusion 13a do not necessarily have to be in contact with each other. Further, a burr is provided on the flat surface of the upper portion of the metal ring 14, for example, a portion surrounded by a circle to form the protrusion 14a.

According to the above structure, when the metal ring 13 and the metal ring 14 and the metal ring 14 and the insulating cylinder 15 are joined together, the protrusion 13a formed inside the metal ring 13 and the outside of the metal ring 14 are formed. Protrusion 14a
The annular brazing materials 19 and 20 are brought into contact with each other to define their positions relative to each other. Therefore, when joining the metal rings 13 and 14, the eccentricity of the brazing materials 19 and 20 and the metal rings 13 and 14 is suppressed. Further, in the case of joining the metal ring 13 and the metal ring 14, since the projection 13a serves as a wall, the brazing material does not escape to the inside, and good joining can be performed.

The protrusions 13a and 14a are formed by bending or burrs. Further, it is desirable that the protrusion 13a provided on the metal ring 13 is provided over the entire circumference of the metal ring 13 as shown in FIG. However, eccentricity or escape of the annular brazing material 19 can also be prevented by forming the annular brazing material 19 at a plurality of points on the circumference at equal intervals, for example. In addition, as shown in FIG. 1C, the metal ring 1
It is desirable that the projection 14a provided on the No. 4 also be provided over the entire circumference. However, eccentricity and escape of the annular brazing material can be prevented even if they are formed at three or more points on the circumference at equal intervals.

If the projection 14a is formed in a ring shape both inside and outside the portion where the insulating cylinder is joined, the eccentricity and escape of the annular brazing material can be better prevented. However, even with the structure provided on only one side, eccentricity and escape of the annular brazing material can be prevented.

Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
Will be described with reference to. Note that, in FIG. 2, parts corresponding to those in FIG. 1A are denoted by the same reference numerals, and overlapping description will be omitted. In this embodiment, for example, the inner edges of the annular brazing materials 18 to 21 are bent to form the protrusions 18a to 21a. In this case, the parts to be joined, such as the metal ring, come into contact with the projections 18a to 21a of the annular brazing materials 18 to 21 to define the positions. Therefore, it is possible to prevent eccentricity between the component and the annular brazing material.

Further, the protrusions can prevent the brazing material itself from warping and bending, and can prevent the floating of each component. If the protrusions formed on the annular brazing material are provided not only inside the components as shown in FIG. 2 but also inside and outside the components to be joined, the effect is further enhanced. Further, the protrusion formed on the annular brazing material may be formed on a part thereof instead of the entire circumference.
