は、上記問題点を解決するためになされたものであっ
て、その目的は金属製ホイールと樹脂製ホイールカバー
を制度よく、均一に接着し金属製ホイールと樹脂製ホイ
ールカバーの隙間に水、汚れ等の侵入を防ぎ、外観品質
の向上を図ることが可能な車輌用ホイールを提供するこ
とにある。

着した車輌用ホイールであって、壷状の条溝とV字状の
突起を形成し、噛み付き形状にしたことをその趣旨とし
ている。

形成され、さらにこの突起と同一箇所にあたる金属製ホ
イール表面に断面略壷状の条溝が形成される。そして、
溶着によって接着が行なわれる。この時、突起は超音波
振動によって溶融し、条溝内に溶融した樹脂が満たされ
る。その後、条溝内に満たされた樹脂は、冷却固化され
る。この時条溝は壷状に形成されているため、条溝内で
固化した樹脂は、条溝から外れることはない。従って金
属製ホイールと樹脂製ホイールカバーは確実に接着さ
れ、またきず、意匠面への汚れ等なく外観上きれいにし
あがる。

【実施例】以下、本発明を具体化した一実施例を説明す
る。図1、2に示すホイール1は、自動車用のホイール
である。このホイールはアルミホイールと樹脂めつきし
た樹脂製ホイールカバーとから構成されている。ホイー
ルカバーの端末部と開口部に断面略V字状の突起を形成
し、この突起と同一箇所にあたるアルミホイール表面に
断面略壷状の条溝を設けている。ここで突起を条溝内に
いれ、超音波振動によって突起を溶融し、条溝内を樹脂
で満たし、固化させる。この時条溝は壷状であるため、
条溝の低部は上部に比べ狭くなっている。そのため、条
溝内に満たされ、固化した樹脂は条溝から外れることは
ない。その結果、アルミホイール3と樹脂製ホイールカ
バー2とが、強力に接着される。また、従来技術におけ
るような接着のずれ、意匠面の汚れ、樹脂製ホイールカ
バー2の破損等を引き起こす事無く接着することが出来
る。なお本発明は、前記実施例に限定されるものではな
く、発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で構成の一部を適宜に
変更し次の様に実施することも出来る。 1)前記実施例では、条溝を壷状に構成したが、図6に
示すような三角形状などの条溝低部より上部の方が狭く
なっているような構成としてもよい。また、突起はV字
状でなくてもよく、図6に示すようなI字状など条溝に
入り、突起が溶融したとき、溶融した樹脂が条溝内を満
たせる構成でもよく、要は噛み付き形状となっていれば
よい。 2)前記実施例では、自動車用のアルミホイールに本発
明を具体化したが、金属素材はアルミニウムに限定され
る事無く鉄、ステンレス等の各種金属材料をもちいても
よい。また、ホイールカバーは、めっきされる必要もな
く、樹脂素材はABS、ポリプロピレン等の各種樹脂素
材を使ってもよい。 3)前記実施例では、溶着を超音波を用いて行なった
が、溶着は超音波溶着に限定される事無く、微震動を発
生させ突起を溶融させれば、どのような構成でもよい。
