噛合い固定部材の凹部に嵌入し昇降部材を確実に停止及

装置の一実施例を示す。この制動装置は、摩擦固定部材

制動体2と、弾発材6により、多数の凹部7を有する噛
合い固定部材3に押圧される噛合い制動体4とを備えて
いる。該噛合い制動体は凹部7と同位置にあるときは該
凹部に嵌入する。その為、弾発材6の押圧力が小さくて
も、大きな制動力を発生し、弾発材6に抗して操作レバ
ーを操作する力を小さく出来る。上記制動体は、突設し
たガイドローラー13が、ガイドレール14に案内され
て昇降する昇降部材12に摺動自在に取付けられる。各
固定部材は、ガイドレール14に沿って昇降部材に近接
して設けられる。操作レバー8は昇降部材12に固定さ
れた支点15、16で揺動自在に挾持され、昇降部材1
2の上昇方向(矢印18で示す)又は下降方向(矢印1
9で示す)に押すと(それぞれ矢印20、21で示す)
図3に示すように(上昇方向の操作を示している)てこ

合い固定材は、角材に穴をあけて凹部を構成したり、歯
付きベルト、ブッシュドチェーン等を利用する事も出来
