Description of the Related Art In recent years, in the field of printing, due to the complexity of printed materials and the development of scanners, there has been a demand for improving the efficiency of the returning work process. Therefore, a photographic film with a low sensitivity of about 10 -4 to 10 -5 has been developed compared to the conventionally used return film, and the return film can be handled in a bright room (under a white fluorescent lamp excluding ultraviolet rays). It is practically used as a film, that is, a light-sensitive material for a bright room. The performance required for such a light-sensitive material for a bright room is that it can be handled for a long time in a light room and has high sensitivity to a printer light source. It has a sufficient maximum density with moderate or higher hardness.

The squirrel developer contains only hydroquinone as a developing agent, and a sulfite salt as a preservative is used in the form of an adduct with formaldehyde so as not to impair the infectious developability, and the concentration of free sulfite ion is extremely low. .
Therefore, the lith developer has a serious drawback that it is extremely susceptible to air oxidation and cannot be stored for more than 3 days. On the other hand, in order to obtain a sufficient maximum density with high contrast using a developing solution more stable than this, U.S. Pat.

When this hydrazine compound is used for the coating liquid, the hydrazine compound does not uniformly disperse and aggregates when the coating liquid is left in a liquid state,
There is a problem that a sufficient maximum concentration cannot be obtained, and in order to make up for such a drawback, a method using an alkyl (aryl) polyethersulfonic acid as a surfactant as described in JP-A-5-61142. There is.

In many cases, the tape is attached directly to the emulsion side as well as the back side. In addition, there are cases where the tape once attached to the emulsion surface is peeled off, such as when using the pasted object again, when changing only a part of the pasted object, when making corrections due to a pasting error, etc. At this time, if the adhesiveness between the photographic constituent layer on the emulsion side and the support is poor, there is a problem that the photographic constituent layer is peeled off at the same time as the tape when the tape is peeled off, and the image disappears. Even when an alkyl (aryl) polyethersulfonic acid is used as a surfactant for the purpose of suppressing aggregation of the hydrazine compound in the material, there is a problem with this adhesiveness.

The present inventors have used a common polymer latex commonly used by those skilled in the art for improving the adhesion of a photographic constituent layer on a support to a photosensitive layer or a support on the same surface as the photosensitive layer. It was confirmed that when used in a hydrophilic colloid layer, hard photographic characteristics due to the hydrazine derivative cannot be obtained.

In other words, in order to minimize the sensitivity to white fluorescent lamps excluding ultraviolet light and to have a high contrast and a sufficient maximum density, increase the proportion of silver chloride in the silver halide emulsion (or make it 100% silver chloride). Using a water-soluble rhodium salt is a technique often used by those skilled in the art. However, this method also has a problem that the handling safety in a bright room is deteriorated by using the hydrazine derivative and the polymer latex in combination.

In the light-sensitive material of the present invention, the polymer latex is preferably contained in the silver halide emulsion layer, but may be contained in any other hydrophilic colloid layer. Since the content of the polymer latex of the present invention in the layer depends on the characteristics of the silver halide emulsion used, the chemical structure of the compound and the development conditions, a suitable content may vary over a wide range, but the solid content may vary. A converted amount of 2 g or less per square meter is practically useful, and a range of 0.1 to 1 g is more preferable. If the amount is more than this range, the hard photographic characteristics using the hydrazine derivative, which is a feature of the present invention, cannot be obtained and the physical properties of the film are adversely affected. Moreover, the effect of the present invention cannot be obtained in a small range. The content of this polymer latex defines the amount on the side of the photosensitive layer as viewed from the support, and the content on the back side is not affected by these, and the amount required for the purpose of improving dimensional stability, etc. Can be included.

2, the same 4-106542 (hereinafter referred to as patent A, patent B, patent C, and patent D, respectively). Among them, Patents A, B, and D are examples in which a polymer latex is added as a means for preventing black spots peculiar to a light-sensitive material containing a hydrazine derivative. Patent C is an example in which the matte property is improved by combining a polymer latex and a matting agent. On the other hand, the present inventors have added to a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing a hydrazine derivative,
It was confirmed that even if a general polymer latex is added to the emulsion layer as shown in the above-mentioned patent, the contrast enhancement effect of the hydrazine derivative is hindered, and there is no point in adding the hydrazine derivative. are doing. Further, when the surfactant of the present invention is not added, the maximum concentration is lowered due to the aggregation of the hydrazine derivative. For the above reasons, the hydrazine derivative and the polymer latex are contained at the same time, and the maximum concentration is high and the adhesiveness cannot be enhanced without impairing the photographic performance. The effect is completely different, and it is a completely new technology that cannot be expected from the conventional technology.

It is not necessary to use a highly alkaline developing solution close to the above, and a stable developing solution can be used. That is, for the silver halide photographic light-sensitive material of the present invention, a developer containing a sufficient amount of sulfite ion as a preservative (especially 0.15 mol / l or more) can be used, and a pH of 9.5 or more, Especially 10.5-1
With the developer of 2.3, a super-high contrast negative image can be sufficiently obtained. There is no particular limitation on the developing agent, and dihydroxybenzenes, 3-pyrazolidones, aminophenols and the like can be used alone or in combination. In addition to the above, the developer contains a pH buffer such as alkali metal sulfite, carbonate, borate, and phosphate, bromide, iodide, and organic antifoggant (particularly preferably,
(Nitroindazoles or benzotriazoles), or a development inhibitor or an antifoggant. Further, if necessary, a water softener, a dissolution aid, a color tone agent, a development accelerator, a surfactant, a defoaming agent, a film hardener, a silver stain preventing agent for the film and the like may be contained. Specific examples of these additives are described in Research Disclosure No. 176, 17643 and the like.
