By the way, conventionally, it is considered that it is easier for pigs to eat the feed when it is wet with water, and in the above-mentioned conventional pig feeder, it is discharged from the feed storage chamber through the feeding port. The feed was dropped into the water tank and put into the water that was stored.

However, the present inventor has found that when feed is supplied by a conventional pig feeder, there is a large amount of feed that remains uneaten by pigs (hereinafter referred to as waste food), which is extremely uneconomical. . It is considered that this is because the feed wet with water clumps like a dango, and the pig's palatability becomes worse with respect to such a dango-like feed.

Further, it is difficult to control the feed amount of feed, which is a problem particularly in the case of feed having good fluidity (pellet-processed feed). That is, if the adjustment plate is opened too much, too much feed will come out and the water tank will fill up.On the contrary, if the adjustment plate is closed too much, the feed will become difficult to feed, and the feed will be gelatinized by the saliva of pigs, etc. It was clogged and there was no feed at all. Therefore, it was troublesome that the feed feeder had to be frequently managed.

In addition, when pigs eat the feed, they often eat with the front legs inserted into the feed tank, and the feces and litter attached to the front legs enter the water receiving tank and the water receiving tank becomes unsanitary. It was.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, prevents the fed feed from being wasted, and accurately adjusts the feed amount of feed, thereby suppressing the clogging of the outlet due to the lavering of feed. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a feeder for pig farming, which is capable of maintaining a hygienic condition by using a feeding tank as a water receiving tank.

The present invention has been made to achieve the above object, and a pig feeder according to the present invention comprises a water receiving tank and a water supply pipe for supplying water to the water receiving tank. , A feed storage room in which a feed opening for discharging feed whose horizontal length becomes shorter as it goes upward is formed in the lower front part, an adjusting plate for opening and closing the feed opening, and an upper part of the water receiving tank. It is characterized in that it is provided with a feed receiving stand for holding the feed provided from the feed storage room without dropping it into the water receiving tank.

The feed cradle may be any as long as it can hold the feed fed from the feed storage chamber without dropping it into the water receiving tank. For example, the feed cradle may be horizontally wide or the water receiving tank side may be obliquely upward. It may be formed with an inclination, or the tip may be raised upward to form a convex edge.

Further, the feed cradle is preferably provided with at least one step (thus, at least two surfaces, an upper surface and a lower surface, are formed). That is, when saliva of pigs or the front legs are placed on the feed pedestal and water attached to the front legs supplies water to the feed pedestal,
Water spreads over the surface of the feed cradle, and the feed absorbs this water to form a paste. Then, the paste-like feed solidified from the lower part to the upper part and blocked the feed supply port of the feed storage room. Therefore, if a step is formed on the feed pedestal, the water supplied to the surface of the feed pedestal does not reach the feeding port, and the feed does not solidify at the feed outlet.

The step, which is formed on the feed pedestal, is not particularly limited in size, shape and the like as long as it can prevent water from reaching the surface of the feed pedestal at the feed feeding port. For example, it may be formed in a staircase shape or may be formed obliquely from directly below the feeding port (in this case, the upper stage surface of the feed cradle is only directly below the feeding port). Further, it is preferable that no feed is placed on the upper surface of the feed cradle.

The step for placing the foot may be formed integrally with the water receiving tank on the front surface of the water receiving tank or separately from the water receiving tank. The step is formed separately from the feeding tank, and
When it is detachably formed, it can be applied to pigs of all seasons by attaching a step having a height according to the growing season of the pig.

In the pig feeder of the present invention, the feed cradle holds the feed supplied from the feed storage chamber on the upper part thereof without dropping it into the water receiving tank. When the adjusting plate is pulled up, the opening of the feeding port is gradually narrowed, so that the amount of discharged feed becomes smaller than the moving distance of the adjusting plate.

The above-described feeding device for pigs is used for feeding the feed in substantially the same manner as the feeding device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, but the feed discharged from the feeding port 27 is almost held in the lower pedestal 31. To be done. Therefore, the pig eats the feed on the lower pedestal 31, and the saliva drowned at that time spreads over the surface of the lower pedestal 31, but does not reach the upper pedestal 30 by the step. Further, since the pig puts the front leg on step 23 and eats the feed in this state, the front leg is not placed in the water receiving tank 22 or placed on the lower pedestal 31.

In the conventional example 1, when the feeding mouth is narrowed, the feed absorbs water such as saliva and is gelatinized from the end of the feeding mouth to cause clogging. On the contrary, when the feeding mouth is widened, the feed comes out too much. It fell into the water tank, it absorbed the spilled water of the drinking water and became a dango state, and if left unattended, it would have to be eliminated because it would spoil and the pigs would no longer eat. Moreover, the same tendency was observed in Conventional Example 2 although it was not as great as in Conventional Example 1.

In Conventional Example 3, the feed is not fed due to clogging of the feeding port, or conversely, the feed drops too much into the water receiving tank to absorb the spilled water and form a dango-like shape. Pigs were often in a state of lightness, which led to a slight inferior growth and greater variation in weight among piglets. In addition, there are quite a few feeds that have accumulated in the receiving tank and must be removed from the receiving tank in order to prevent spoilage, and as a result, the feed conversion rate has deteriorated.

[Test Method] Fifteen piglets with an average age of 115 days per pig tuft (8 males)
Heads, 7 females) were housed, and one pig feeder was installed in each pig cell, whereby feed and drinking water were continuously fed for 42 days. The feed was a pellet feed with a diameter of 4.5 mm for raising piglets. Then, the weight gain, feed supply, feed requirement (period feed intake / period weight gain), and the amount of feed removed from the water receiving tank were recorded.
