Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve travel stability, appearance and efficiency for storage by jointing a storage body to an upper rail positioned behind via a guide mechanism fitted to the back of the body. CONSTITUTION:Loop type upper and lower rails 1 and 2 are fixed with a frame 3, and the upper rail 1 is formed to have a smaller diameter than the lower rail 2. Storage bodies 4 are mounted on the rails 1 and 2 via guide mechanisms 5 fitted to the upper and lower sections thereof, and jointed to each other by means of a joint members 6, so as to be capable of traveling. Also, the guide mechanisms 5 laid on the upper rear sides of the bodies 4 are so constituted as to have guide rollers clamping the upper rail 1 from both sides. The upper rail 1 is also positioned at the rear side of the bodies 4. Furthermore, the guide mechanisms 5 fitted to the lower sections of the bodies 4 have a floor roller and a guide roller on a casing. According to this construction, the storage bodies 4 can travel along the upper and lower rails 1 and 2. Also, as no rail is laid above the bodies 4 and open space is formed, articles can be stored or taken out without any hindrance.
