Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.アミノ酸配列が、 i)ヒトミエリン塩基性タンパク質(hMBP)のアミノ酸残基84−1 02; ii)hMBPのアミノ酸残基85−102; iii)hMBPのアミノ酸残基86−102; iv)hMBPのアミノ酸残基87−102; v)hMBPのアミノ酸残基84−100; vi)hMBPのアミノ酸残基84−99; vii)hMBPのアミノ酸残基85−99; viii)hMBPのアミノ酸残基84−98; ix)hMBPのアミノ酸残基86−99; x)残基102がチロシンに置換されているhMBPのアミノ酸残基84 −102; xi)hMBPのアミノ酸残基143−168;及び xii)hMBPのアミノ酸残基148−162 よりなる群から選択されるペプチド。 2.ヒトMBPの免疫優性エピトープからなり、少なくともヒトMBPのアミノ 酸残基84−102の配列であるアミノ酸配列のペプチド。 3.ヒトMBPの免疫優性エビトープ領域の全部または一部から本質的に構成さ れるペプチドで、ヒトMBPの免疫優性エピトープを認識するヒトT-細胞のイ ンビトロの増殖を刺激する性質を有するペプチド。 4.少なくともDENPVVHFFKNIVTPRTPPの配列を必須として備 えるアミノ酸配列を有するペプチドで、ヒトMBPの免疫優性エピトープを認識 するヒトT-細胞のインピトロの増殖を刺激する性質を有するペプチド。 5.ENPVVHFFKNIVTPRのアミノ酸配列を必須として備えるペプチ ド。 6.アミノ酸配列がDENPVVHFFKNIVTPRTPYである請求の範囲 第3項のペプチド。 7.多発性硬化症に罹患した哺乳類またはその動物モデルで、静脈を通して上記 哺乳類のミエリン塩基性タンパク質の免疫優性エビトープを含むペプチドの投与 を含む哺乳類のミエリン塩基性タンパク質と反応するCD4+T-細胞の免疫機能 を抑制する方法であって、上記ペプチドは、上記ミエリン塩基性タンパク質の免 疫優性エビトープ領域の全部または一部を必須として備える配列を有し、上記ペ プチドを、上記哺乳類に、上記T-細胞をアネルギー化するに十分な量投与する ことを特徴とする方法。 8.多発性硬化症またはその哺乳類のモデルで観察されるタイプの哺乳類の自己 免疫反応を抑制する方法であって、上記哺乳類に上記哺乳類のミエリン塩基性タ ンパク質の免疫優性エビトープを含むペプチドの経口投与を含み、上記ペプチド は上記ミエリン塩基性タンパク質の免疫優性エビトープ領域の全部または一部を 必須として備える配列を有し、上記ペプチドを上記自己免疫反応を抑制するのに 十分な量投与することを特徴とする方法。 9.経口的に十分量の請求の範囲第1項から第6項のいずれかのペプチドと、薬 理学的に許容される担体または希釈剤を含む薬剤組成物。 10.上記十分量が約10μgから約20mgの範囲である請求の範囲第9項の組 成物。 11.非経口的に十分量の請求の範囲第1項から第6項のいずれかのペプチドと、 薬理学的に許容される担体または希釈剤を含む薬剤組成物。 12.上記十分量が約1から約200mgの範囲である請求の範囲第11項の組成 物。 13.上記十分量が上記ペプチドの約1から約200mgの範囲である請求の範囲 第7項の方法。 14.上記十分量が上記ペプチドの約10μgから約200mgの範囲である請求 の範囲第8項の方法。 15.hMBPと反応するCD4+ヒトT-細胞の増殖を阻害する方法であって、上 記細胞と阻害十分量のクレーム1−6のいずれかのペプチドとを接触させること を備える方法。
