Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.血液試料のヘマトクリットレベル測定装置であって、 (a)第1絶縁基板と、 (b)第1絶縁基板に付着した作用電極と対向電極と、 (c)作用電極と対向電極とに重なり、作用電極と対向電極の1部を露出する ための窓を備え、両電極と電流計および電源との間の接触を可能にするための切 欠部を1端に備える第2絶縁基板と、 (d)電子活性化合物を含浸し、上記の窓に重なり、作用電極および対向電極 から空間的に離れて位置する多孔性基板と からなる装置。 2.上記の作用電極と対向電極の電気伝導性材料がパラジウム、白金、金、銀、 チタン、銅または炭素である請求項2に記載した装置。 3.上記の作用電極と対向電極が同じ材料からなり実質的に同じ大きさである請 求項2に記載した装置。 4.上記の多孔性基板がメッシュ、膜(membrane)または多孔性膜(film)であ る請求項2に記載した装置。 5.上記の多孔性基板がポリエステルメッシュである請求項3に記載した装置。 6.請求項5に記載した装置であって、さらに、上記の多孔性基板に重なるカバ ーメッシュを備える装置。 7.請求項5に記載した装置であって、さらに、 (e)上記の作用電極と対向電極とに電気的に接続し、作用電極の表面での上 記の電子活性化合物の還元型の拡散制限電子的酸化または上記の電子活性化合物 の酸化型の拡散制限電子的還元を生じるのに十分なポテンシャル差を作用電極と 対向電極との間に印加できる電源と、 (f)上記の作用電極と対向電極とに電気的に接続し、作用電極の表面での上 記の電子活性化合物の還元型の酸化または上記の電子活性化合物の酸化型の還元 により生じる電流を測定できる電流計と を備える装置。 8.上記のカバーメッシュは、また、血液試料がカバーメッシュに添加されたと き、電子活性化合物を多孔性基板の中に引き込むのを助けるのに充分な量の表面 活性剤で含浸される請求項7に記載した装置。 9.請求項8に記載した装置であって、さらに、 (e)上記の作用電極と対向電極とに電気的に接続し、作用電極の表面での上 記の電子活性化合物の還元型の拡散制限電子的酸化または上記の電子活性化合物 の酸化型の拡散制限電子的還元を生じるのに十分なポテンシャル差を作用電極と 対向電極との間に印加できる電源と、 (f)上記の作用電極と対向電極と電気的に接続し、作用電極の表面での上記 の電子活性化合物の還元型の酸化または上記の電子活性化合物の酸化型の還元に より生じる電流を測定できる電流計と を備える装置。 10.上記の多孔性基板が試薬で含浸され、この試薬は、可逆性電子活性化合物 、電解質および微結晶性材料からなる請求項8に記載した装置。 11.上記の多孔性基板が試薬で含浸され、この試薬は、可逆性電子活性化合物 、電解質および微結晶性材料からなる請求項9に記載した装置。 12.電子活性化合物の上記の酸化型がヘキサシアノ鉄酸(III)カリウムであ り、電子活性化合物の上記の還元型がヘキサシアノ鉄酸(II)カリウムである請 求項11に記載した装置。 13.請求項12に記載した装置において、上記の多孔性基板は、また、バイオ センサを製造するときに多孔性基板中への電子活性化合物の拡散を助けるのに充 分な量の表面活性剤で含浸される装置。 14.血液試料のヘマトクリットレベルを測定する装置であって、 (a)第1絶縁基板と、 (b)第1絶縁基板に付着した作用電極と対向電極と、 (c)作用電極と対向電極とに重なり、作用電極と対向電極の1部を露出する ための窓を備え、両電極とメータおよび電源との間の接触を可能にするための切 欠部を1端に備える第2絶縁基板と、 (d)電子活性化合物を含み、第2絶縁基板の窓の中で露出された電極表面を 実質的に覆う試薬と からなる装置。 15.上記の電子活性化合物が可逆的電子活性化合物であり、上記の試薬が、さ らに、電解質と微結晶性材料を含む請求項14に記載した装置。 16.請求項15に記載した装置において、さらに、第2絶縁基板中で窓に重な るカバーメッシュを備える装置。 17.血液試料のヘマトクリットレベル測定法であって、 (a)請求項1に記載した装置の多孔性基板に血液試料を添加し、これにより 、電子活性化合物と血液試料の混合物を形成し、この混合物を両電極の表面に堆 積し、 (b)作用電極の表面で混合物中の電子活性化合物を酸化または還元するのに 充分なポテンシャル差を作用電極と対向電極との間に印加して、これにより電流 を発生し、 (c)この電流を測定して、電流をヘマトクリットレベルと相互関連づける方 法。 18.上記の作用電極と対向電極の電気伝導性材料がパラジウム、白金、金、銀 、チタン、銅または炭素である請求項17に記載した方法。 19.上記の作用電極と対向電極が同じ材料からなり実質的に同じ大きさである 請求項18に記載した方法。 20.上記の多孔性基板がポリエステルメッシュである請求項18に記載した方 法。 21.血液試料のヘマトクリットレベル測定法であって、 (a)請求項1の装置の多孔性基板に血液試料を添加し、これにより、電子活 性化合物と血液試料の混合物を形成し、この混合物を両電極の表面に堆積し、 (b)混合物中の電子活性化合物を1つの電極の表面で酸化し、他方の電極で 還元するのに充分なポテンシャル差を両電極の間に印加して、これにより電流を 発生し、 (c)この電流を測定して、電流をヘマトクリットレベルと相互関連づける方 法。 22.上記の多孔性基板がメッシュ、膜(membrane)または多孔性膜(film)で ある請求項21に記載した方法。 23.電子活性化合物の上記の酸化型がヘキサシアノ鉄酸(III)カリウムであ り、電子活性化合物の上記の還元型がヘキサシアノ鉄酸(II)カリウムである請 求項22に記載した方法。
