Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.記憶性を有したプラスチック材料からなる管(1)の一端部(8)と、少 なくとも一部分(4)に沿って管端(8)の内径を超える外径を有するとともに 該部分(4)から半径方向外方へ突出するフランジ(6)を有する少なくとも1 つの連結スリーブを備えた連結子(2;11)の該連結スリーブ(3)との間に 管連結部を形成するために、相互引込位置と外方拡張位置との間で中心軸線(2 6)に関して半径方向へ移動可能であって、管端(8)の内面に係合するように 少なくとも本質的円弧状輪郭の断面を有しかつ対向するジョー縁部(28)によ り画定されるジョー外面(27)を備える複数のジョー(22)を具備した拡張 工具(15)を用いて、管端を、所望により該管端を包囲する締着スリーブ(1 0)と共に、フランジの外径を超える内径まで拡張する段階と、前記管端が前記 フランジの外径より小さな内径まで収縮する前に、少なくとも1つの前記フラン ジを有した連結スリーブ(3)を拡張された管端に挿入する段階とを有する方法 において、 管拡張工程の間に、管端(8)の内面に、ジョー(22)が拡張状態にあると きに少なくとも前記ジョー縁部(28)の領域で管端内面とジョー外面(27) との間の接触領域を分断するよう内方へ延びる複数の突起(30;31)を形成 することを特徴とする管連結部の形成方法。 2.前記連結スリーブ(3)から半径方向外方へ延びるフランジ(6)を、該 連結スリーブを前記管端(8)に挿入した後に覆う領域に、前記突起(30;3 1)を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3.ジョー外面(27)が少なくとも前記ジョー縁部(28)の 領域に、ジョー外面(27)に設けられて該ジョー縁部(28)に交差する溝又 は溝部分により好ましくは形成される凹部(32;33)を備えたジョーを具備 する工具を使用することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4.溝(32)又は溝部分(33)の深さが前記ジョー縁部(28)から所定 方向へ減少する工具を使用することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 5.相互引込位置と外方の管拡張位置との間で中心軸線に関して半径方向へ移 動可能であって、相互に対向するジョー縁部(28)により画定されて管端(8 )の内面に係合する少なくとも略円弧状輪郭の断面を有したジョー外面(27) を備える複数のジョー(22)を具備し、管端(8)を拡張するための工具にお いて、 前記ジョー外面(27)が、ジョー外面(27)に設けられて前記ジョー縁部 (28)に交差する溝又は溝部分により形成される凹部(32;33)を備え、 溝(32)又は溝部分(33)の深さが前記ジョー縁部(28)から所定方向へ 減少することを特徴とする工具。 6.拡張された管端に挿入されるとともに該管端の収縮後に該管端(8)に強 固に保持される少なくとも1つの連結スリーブ(3)を備え、該連結スリーブ( 3)が管(1)の内径を超える外径を有した部分(4)と該部分から半径方向外 方へ突出する少なくとも1つのフランジ(6)とを備えてなり、記憶性を有した プラスチック材料からなる管(1)の一端部(8)に連結されるように構成され る管連結子において、 前記部分(4)は、連結スリーブ(3)の軸方向内側部分を構成し、 拡張されないプラスチック管(1)の内径に少なくとも本質的に 等しい外径と拡張されないプラスチック管の内径に少なくとも等しく好ましくは 1〜2倍大きな長さとを有した軸方向外側の管状部分(5)が、前記内側部分( 4)に隣接すること、 を特徴とする管連結子。 7.1つのフランジ(6)のみを備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の管 連結子。 8.フランジ(6)が、連結スリーブ(3)の内側部分(4)と外側部分(5 )との間の接合部に配置されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の管連結子。 9.連結スリーブ(3)の前記軸方向内側部分(4)からのフランジ(6)の 高さが、プラスチック管(1)の壁厚よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項6〜 8のいずれか1項に記載の管連結子。 10.フランジ(6)か、連結スリーブ(3)の長手軸線(9)に少なくとも 略直交して延びる軸方向内側面及び外側面(12,13)、並びに軸方向外側面 (13)から軸方向内側面(12)へと適切には10〜20°の角度、好ましく は約15°の角度で外方へ傾斜する半径方向外側面(14)を備えることを特徴 とする請求項6〜9のいずれか1項に記載の管連結子。 11.請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって生産される管連結部 。 12.請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって、かつ請求項5に記 載の工具を使用して生産される管連結部。
