Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 少なくとも約75重量%のポリ(ヘキサメチレンアジパミド)又はポリ( ε−カプロアミド)を含んで成りそして20〜50のギ酸相対粘度を有するポリ アミドポリマーを、ポリアミドポリマー、並びに安定剤、触媒及びこれらの混合 物から成る群から選ばれた添加剤を含んで成るポリアミド添加剤濃厚物と溶融ブ レンドして、約0.05〜約2重量%の前記添加剤を含む溶融ポリマーを生成さ せること、並びに 前記溶融ポリマーを紡糸口金から押出しそして1〜40のフィラメントあたり のデニールを有するファイバーを生成させること を含んで成る、ポリアミドファイバーを作るための方法。 2. 前記添加剤が、アルカリ金属、アルキル置換及び/又はアリール置換ホス ファイト;アルカリ金属、アルキル置換及び/又はアリール置換ホスフェート; アルキル置換及び/又はアリール置換ホスホン酸;アルキル置換及び/又はアリ ール置換ホスフィン酸;並びにこれらの混合物から成る群から選ばれた触媒であ り、そして前記ポリアミドポリマーの前記相対粘度を前記紡糸口金から押出すの に先立って増加させる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3. 前記ポリマーの前記相対粘度を少なくとも約30単位だけ増加させる、請 求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 4. 押出し前の前記溶融ポリマー中の前記触媒の平均滞留時間が約60分より も長くないように前記溶融ブレンディングを実施する、請求の範囲第2項に記載 の方法。 5. 前記添加剤が、アルキル置換及び/又はアリール置換フェノール;アルキ ル置換及び/又はアリール置換ホスファイト;アルキル置換及 び/又はアリール置換ホスホネート;並びにこれらの混合物から成る群から選ば れた安定剤である、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 6. 前記添加剤が、1,3,5−トリメチル−2,4,6−トリス(3,5− tert.−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)ベンゼン、N,N’−ヘキサメ チレンビス(3,5−ジ−tert.−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロシンナム アミド)、及びトリス(2,4−ジ−tert.−ブチルフェニル)ホスファイ ト及びこれらの混合物から成る群から選ばれる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法 。 7. 前記ファイバーが銅を含まない、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 8. 前記濃厚物がポリアミドポリマー中に約1〜約40重量%の添加剤を含む 、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 9. 前記の生成した溶融ポリマーが約0.1〜約0.7重量%の前記添加剤を 含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 10. 前記ポリアミドポリマー及び前記ポリアミド安定剤濃厚物が固体の粒状 形であり、そして一緒に混合されて溶融ブレンディングに先立って粒状ブレンド を形成する、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 11. 前記溶融ブレンディングをスクリュー溶融器を使用して実施する、請求 の範囲第10項に記載の方法。 12. 前記ポリアミドポリマーがポリ(ヘキサメチレンアジパミド)ホモポリ マーである、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 13. 少なくとも75重量%のポリ(ヘキサメチレンアジパミド)ポリマーの フィラメントあたり1〜40デニールのファイバーを含んで成り、そして1,3 ,5−トリメチル−2,4,6−トリス(3,5−tert.−ブチル−4−ヒ ドロキシベンジル)ベンゼン、N,N’−ヘ キサメチレンビス(3,5−ジ−tert.−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロシ ンナムアミド)、及びトリス(2,4−ジ−tert.−ブチルフェニル)ホス ファイト及びこれらの混合物から成る群から選ばれた約0.1〜約2.0重量% の安定剤を含み、そして実質的に銅を含まない、製紙機械フェルトのためのステ ープルとして有用なポリアミドファイバー。 14. 約0.1〜約0.7重量%の前記安定剤を含んで成る、請求の範囲第1 3項に記載のファイバー。 15. 前記ポリアミドのギ酸相対粘度が少なくとも約20である、請求の範囲 第13項に記載のファイバー。 16. 前記ポリアミドポリマーが少なくとも約95%のポリ(ヘキサメチレン アジパミド)である、請求の範囲第13項に記載のファイバー。
