Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. (a)表面を照明する手段と、(b)照明された表面のイメージを読取り 、読取られたイメージを表す出力信号を供給する、ビデオフレーム率をもったイ メージ読取り手段と、(c)該イメージ読取り手段の露光時間を上記ビデオフレ ーム率よりも短い選択された高速露光時間に制限する手段と、からなる表面を照 明し、その表面のイメージを読取る装置。 2. イメージ読取り手段は電荷結合装置を備えたカメラからなる請求項1の表 面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る装置。 3. 選択された高速露光時間は約1ミリ秒である請求項1の表面を照明し、そ の表面のイメージを読取る装置。 4. 露光時間を制限する手段は、各ビデオフレームの開始時においてカメラの CCDアレーの各素子を、ビデオフレーム率から選択された高速露光時間を差引 いた時間に等しい時間に短縮するための手段からなる請求項2の表面を照明し、 その表面のイメージを読取る装置。 5. (a)不透明な側壁を有し、その側壁の下端に底部開口が形成されたカバ ーと、(b)該カバー内に設けられていて、上記底部開口を通して表面を照明す る手段と、(c)上記カバー内に設置されていて、照明された表面のイメージを 読取り、読取られたイメージを表す出力信号を供給するCCDを備えたカメラか らなる手段と、からなる表面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る装置。 6. 照明する手段とイメージを読取る手段はカバーの上部に設けられている請 求項5の表面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る装置。 7. カバーの下端部が表面と接触しているときを除いて照明する手段およびイ メージを読取る手段を付勢するのを防止する手段が設けられている請求項5の表 面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る装置。 8. (a)表面を照明する手段と、(b)照明された表面のイメージを読取り 、読取られたイメージを表す出力信号を供給するイメージ読取り手段と、(c) 第1の選択された偏光方位を有し、上記照明手段と照明された表面との中間に配 置された第1の光偏光手段と、上記第1の選択された偏光方位と直交する第2の 選択された偏光方位を有し、上記照明された表面と上記イメージ読取り手 段との中間に配置された第2の光偏光手段と、からなる表面を照明し、その表面 のイメージを読取る装置。 9. イメージ読取り手段はCCDを有するカメラからなる請求項8の表面を照 明し、その表面のイメージを読取る装置。 10. 第1の光偏光手段は偏光フィルムからなる請求項8の表面を照明し、その 表面のイメージを読取る装置。 11. (a)表面を照明するステップと、(b)露光時間をビデオフレーム率よ り短い選択された高速露光時間に選択的に制限しつつ、ビデオフレーム率をもっ たイメージ読取り装置を用いて上記照明された表面のイメージを読取るステップ と、(c)読取られたイメージを表す出力信号を供給するステップと、からなる 表面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る方法。 12. イメージを読取るステップはCCDを備えたカメラを使用して行われる、 請求項11の表面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る方法。 13. 高速露光時間は約1ミリ秒である、請求項11の表面を照明し、その表面 のイメージを読取る方法。 14. イメージを読取るステップは、さらに各ビデオフレームの開始時において カメラの各素子を、ビデオフレーム率から選択された高速露光時間を差引いた時 間に等しい時間に短縮することを含む、請求項12の表面を照明し、その表面の イメージを読取る方法。 15. (a)不透明な側壁を有し、その側壁の下端部に底部開口が形成されたカ バーを準備するステップと、(b)上記カバー内に設けられた光源を使用して上 記底部開口を通して表面を照明するステップと、(c)上記カバー内に設けられ たCCDを備えたカメラを使用して照明された表面のイメージを読取り、読取ら れたイメージを表す出力信号を供給するステップと、からなる表面を照明し、そ の表面のイメージを読取る方法。 16. CCDを備えたカメラと光源は準備されたカバーの上部に設けられている 請求項15の表面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る方法。 17. カバー側壁の下端が表面と接触しているときを除いて、表面を照明するス テップおよび照明された表面のイメージを読取るステップの実行を阻止する手段 を設けるステップと、表面を照明するステップおよび表面のイメージを読取る前 に上記カバー側壁の下端を上記表面と接触させるステップを含む、請求項15の 表面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る方法。 18. (a)表面を第1の方位に偏光された光で照明するステップと、(b)上 記表面からの反射光を上記第1の方位と直交する第2の方位に偏光するステップ と、(c)偏光された反射光から照明された反射光のイメージを読取るステップ と、読取られたイメージを表す出力信号を供給するステップと、からなる表面を 照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る方法。 19. イメージを読取るステップはCCDを備えたカメラを使用して行われる請 求項18の表面を照明し、その表面のイメージを読取る方法。 20. 第1の方位に偏光された光で表面を照明するステップは、照明手段を付勢 するステップと、この付勢ステップと同時に上記照明手段と表面との中間に偏光 フィルムを設けるステップと、からなる請求項18の表面を照明し、その表面の イメージを読取る方法。
