Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.第1のステーションおよび遠隔位置の第2のステーションを有し、前記第2 のステーションは、複数のデータ速度の予め定められた1つでそれぞれコード化 されたデータのフレームで構成されている通信信号を予め定められた電力レベル で送信し、前記第1のステーションから電力レベルの情報を受取ってそれに応答 し、前記電力レベルを調整する通信システムにおいて、前記電力レベルを制御す る方法は、 前記第1のステーションにおいて前記通信信号を受信し、 前記通信信号の電力レベルを測定し、 前記受信された通信信号におけるデータの各フレームに対する速度決定を生成 し、 前記速度決定および前記測定された電力レベルに応答して電力レベルの情報を 生成し、 前記電力レベルの情報を前記第2のステーションに送信するステップを含むこ とを特徴とする方法。 2.速度決定を生成する前記ステップは、 前記複数のデータ速度の各データ速度でデータの各フレームを解読し、 各データ速度で各フレームをそれぞれ解読するために1以上のエラー計量値を 生成し、 それぞれのフレームにおいて前記データをコード化した前記データ速度の1つ の評価を各フレームに対して前記エラー計量値から決定するステップを含む請求 項1記載の方法。 3.速度決定を生成する前記ステップはさらに、それぞれの フレームにおいて前記データをコード化した前記データ速度の1つに関して決定 する以外はデータは破壊される削除フレームを前記エラー計量値から決定するス テップを含む請求項2記載の方法。 4.速度決定を生成する前記ステップはさらに、最もデータ速度が速いデータが 破壊されている全速度の可能性の高いフレームを前記エラー計量値から決定する ステップを含む請求項3記載の方法。 5.前記データがコード化される前記速度が予め定められた最も速いデータ速度 であるとき、前記速度決定は全速度表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が前記予め定められた最も速いデータ速 度の約1/2であるとき、前記速度決定は1/2速度表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が前記予め定められた最も速いデータ速 度の約1/4であるとき、前記速度決定は1/4速度表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が前記予め定められた最も速いデータ速 度の約1/8であるとき、前記速度決定は1/8速度表示として供給される請求 項2記載の方法。 6.前記データがコード化される前記速度が予め定められた最も速いデータ速度 であるとき、前記速度決定は全速度表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が前記予め定められた最も速いデータ速 度の約1/2であるとき、前記速度決定 は1/2速度表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が前記予め定められた最も速いデータ速 度の約1/4であるとき、前記速度決定は1/4速度表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が前記予め定められた最も速いデータ速 度の約1/8であるとき、前記速度決定は1/8速度表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が破壊され、前記データがコード化され た前記データ速度の1つに関する決定が行われるだけであるとき、前記速度決定 は削除表示として供給され、 前記データがコード化される前記速度が前記予め定められた最も速いデータ速 度であり、前記データがビットエラーを含むとき、前記速度決定は全速度の可能 性の高いことの表示を供給する請求項4記載の方法。 7.前記速度決定および前記測定された電力レベルに応答して電力レベルの情報 を生成する前記ステップは、 各速度決定に従って電力レベル設定点を調整し、 前記電力レベル設定点を前記測定された電力レベルと比較し、 前記比較のステップの各結果から電力調整指令を生成するステップを含む請求 項1記載の方法。 8.前記速度決定および前記測定された電力レベルに応答して電力レベルの情報 を生成する前記ステップは、 各速度決定に従って電力レベル設定点を調整し、 前記電力レベル設定点を前記測定された電力レベルと比較し、 前記測定された電力レベルが前記電力レベル設定点よりも小さいときに電力を 増加させる調整指令を発生し、 前記測定された電力レベルが前記電力レベル設定点よりも大きいときに電力を 減少させる調整指令を発生するステップを含む請求項4記載の方法。 9.前記電力レベル設定点を調整するステップは、前記最も速いデータ速度のデ ータフレームをそれぞれ示す前記予め定められた数の前のフレーム速度決定に続 いて現在のフレーム速度決定が最も速いデータ速度のデータフレームを示すとき 、値をインクレメントすることによって前記電力レベル設定点を減少させるステ ップを含む請求項8記載の方法。 10.前記電力レベル設定点を調整するステップは、前記最も速いデータ速度で データフレームをそれぞれ示す前記予め定められた数の前のフレーム速度決定に 続いて現在のフレーム速度決定が前記削除フレームおよび前記全速度の可能性の 高いフレームの1つのデータフレームを示すとき、値をインクレメントすること によって前記電力レベル設定点を増加させるステップを含む請求項8記載の方法 。 11.前記電力レベル設定点を調整するステップは、削除フレームをそれぞれ示 す前記予め定められた数の前のフレーム速度決定に続いて現在のフレーム速度決 定が削除フレームを示すとき、値をインクレメントすることによって前記電力レ ベル設定点を増加させるステップを含む請求項8記載の方法。 12.前記電力レベル設定点を調整する前記ステップは、 前記最も速いデータ速度でデータフレームをそれぞれ示す前記予め定められた 数の前のフレーム速度決定に続いて現在のフレーム速度決定が最も速いデータ速 度のデータフレームを示すとき、第1のインクレメント値によって前記電力レベ ル設定点を減少させ、 前記最も速いデータ速度でデータフレームをそれぞれ示す前記予め定められた 数の前のフレーム速度決定に続いて現在のフレーム速度決定が前記削除フレーム および前記全速度の可能性の高いフレームの1つのデータフレームを示すとき、 第2のインクレメント値によって前記電力レベル設定点を増加させるステップを 含む請求項8記載の方法。 13.前記電力レベル設定点を調整するステップは、削除フレームをそれぞれ示 す前記予め定められた数の前のフレーム速度決定に続いて現在のフレーム速度決 定が削除フレームを示すとき、第3のインクレメント値によって前記電力レベル 設定点を増加させるステップを含む請求項12記載の方法。 14.第1のトランシーバは、通信信号の信号電力のレベルを測定して設定点電 力レベルと比較して通信信号の信号電力を調節するためそれに応答して電力調節 指令を発生して前記第2のトランシーバに送ることによって、可変速度データの フレームで構成された、第2のトランシーバが送信した通信信号の送信信号電力 を制御し、前記通信信号における各データフレームのデータ速度を評価して対応 する速度決定を供給する通信システムにおいて、前記電力レベルを調整する方法 は、 予め定められた速度決定パターンへの整合を1組の速度決定から決定し、 前記予め定められた速度決定パターンへの整合が決定されたときに変更パラメ ータに従って前記設定点を変更するステップを含む方法。 15.前記速度決定の組を前記予め定められた速度決定パターンへ整合させると き以外のときに別の変更パラメータに従って前記設定点を変更するステップを含 む請求項14記載の方法。 16.さらに、1以上の付加的な予め定められた速度決定パターンへの整合を前 記速度決定の組から決定し、 前記予め定められた速度決定パターンのそれぞれへの整合が決定されたとき、 対応する付加的な変更パラメータに従って前記設定点を変更するステップを含む 請求項14記載の方法。 17.前記速度決定の組を前記予め定められた速度決定パターンおよび各付加的 な予め定められた速度決定パターンへ整合させるとき以外のときにそれぞれ別の 付加的な変更パラメータに従って前記設定点を変更するステップを含む請求項1 6記載の方法。 18.第1のステーションおよび遠隔位置の第2のステーションを有し、前記第 2のステーションは、複数のデータ速度の予め定められた1つでそれぞれコード 化されたデータのフレームで構成されている通信信号を予め定められた電力レベ ルで送信し、第1のステーションから電力レベルの情報を受信してそれに応答し 、前記電力レベルを調整する通信システムにおいて、前記電力レベルを制御する システムは、 前記第1のステーションにおいて前記通信信号が受信されたときにその電力レ ベルを決定する手段と、 前記受信された通信信号における各データフレームの速度決定を生成する手段 と、 前記速度決定および前記決定された電力レベルに応答して電力レベルの情報を 生成する手段と、 前記電力レベルの情報を前記第2のステーションへ送信する手段とを含むこと を特徴とするシステム。 19.前記速度決定を生成する手段は、前記複数のデータ速度の各データ速度で 各データフレームを解読し、各データ速度で各フレームをそれぞれ解読するため に1以上のエラー計量値を生成し、各フレームにおいて前記データがコード化さ れる前記データ速度の1つの評価を各フレームに対して前記エラー計量値から決 定する請求項18記載のシステム。 20.さらに、前記速度決定を生成する手段は、前記データがそれぞれのフレー ムにおいてコード化される前記データ速度の1つに関する決定以外のデータは破 壊されている削除フレームを前記エラー計量値から決定する請求項19記載のシ ステム。 21.さらに、前記速度決定を生成する手段は、破壊されたデータを含むデータ の、データ速度が最も速い全速度の可能性の高いフレームを前記エラー計量値か ら決定する請求項2 0記載の方法。 22.前記電力レベルの情報を生成する手段は、 各速度決定に従って電力レベル設定点を調整する手段と、 前記電力レベル設定点と前記測定された電力レベルとを比較する手段と、 各電力レベル設定点と前記測定された電力レベルを比較した結果から電力調整 指令を発生する手段とを含む請求項18記載の方法。
