Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)溶融アルミニウム−リチウム合金を成形するステップと、 (b)前記溶融アルミニウム−リチウム合金を鋳込みステーションに移送 するステップと、 (c)前記溶融アルミニウム−リチウム合金をインゴット形状に鋳込むス テップと、 (d)少なくとも前記鋳込みステップの間、前記アルミニウム−リチウム 合金上に保護用溶融塩被膜を保持するステップを含んで構成され、 前記保護用溶融塩被膜が、塩成分を含む塩化リチウムからなることを特徴とす るアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 2.前記ステップ(c)が、ダイレクトチル鋳造を含んでなることを特徴とす る請求の範囲1記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 3.ステップ(c)の前記溶融塩被膜は、前記ダイレクトチル鋳造中に成形さ れるインゴットヘッドを覆う層として保持されることを特徴とする請求の範囲2 記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 4.前記層は、前記インゴットヘッドのバーニング及びフレアリングを防止す るのに前記インゴットヘッド上で十分な厚さを有することを特徴とする請求の範 囲3記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 5.ステップ(b)は、トラフ内の前記溶融アルミニウム−リチウム合金が空 気に曝されるような開放トラフによって前記溶融アルミニウム−リチウム合金を 移送することを特徴とする請求の 範囲1記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 6.前記アルミニウム−リチウム合金は、前記保護用溶融塩被膜の下でアルミ ニウムを溶融し、前記アルミニウムとリチウムを合金化させるために前記リチウ ムを前記塩被膜を通過させることによってステップ(a)で成形されることを特 徴とする請求の範囲1記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 7.前記塩被膜成分は、KClとLiFからなるグループから選択された少な くとも別の塩とLiClとの混合物からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載 のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 8.前記塩被膜成分は、約35〜90モル%のLiClと約10〜65モル% のKClからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲7記載のアルミニウム−リチウム 基地合金の鋳造方法。 9.前記塩被膜成分は、約50〜70モル%のLiClと約30〜50モル% のKClからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲7記載のアルミニウム−リチウム 基地合金の鋳造方法。 10.前記塩被膜成分は、約42モル%のKClと約58モル%のLiClから なることを特徴とする請求の範囲7記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳 造方法。 11.前記塩は、ステッブ(a)において、粒状化された固体として添加され、 その後溶解されることを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載のアルミニウム−リチウム 基地合金の鋳造方法。 12.前記粒状化された固体の塩は、溶融形態で2つ或いはそれ以上の塩を混合 し、前記塩混合物を凝固し、前記粒状化された固体の塩を形成するために前記凝 固された塩混合物を粉砕することによって形成されることを特徴とする請求の範 囲11記載のアルミ ニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 13.前記溶融アルミニウム−リチウム合金は、アルミニウム−リチウムスクラ ップを溶解し再生処理することにより成形されることを特徴とする請求の範囲1 記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 14.前記アルミニウム−リチウム合金は、リチウムを3重量%まで含むことを 特徴とする請求の範囲1記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金の鋳造方法。 15.鋳込み中、インゴットヘッド上に保護用溶融塩層を備え、前記塩層が塩成 分を含有する塩化リチウムを有し、インゴット形状に前記アルミニウム−リチウ ム基地合金を鋳込むことを特徴とするアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金をインゴ ットにする鋳造方法 16.前記溶融塩層が、溶融アルミニウム−リチウムを鋳型に鋳込んでいる期間 中、供給されることを特徴とする請求の範囲15記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基 地合金をインゴットにする鋳造方法。 17.前記塩成分は、KCl,LiF及びNaClからなるグループから選択さ れた少なくとも別の塩とLiClとの混合物からなることを特徴とする請求の範 囲15記載のアルミニウム−リチウム基地合金をインゴットにする鋳造方法。 18.前記塩被膜成分は、約35〜90モル%のLiClと約10〜65モル% のKClからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲17記載のアルミニウム−リチウム 基地合金をインゴットにする鋳造方法。 19.前記塩被膜成分は、約50〜70モル%のLiClと約3 0〜50モル%のKClからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲18記載のアルミニ ウム−リチウム基地合金をインゴットにする鋳造方法。 20.請求の範囲1の方法によって生産されたことを特徴とする生産物。 21.前記生産物は、インゴット或いは前記インゴットから圧延された板材であ ることを特徴とする請求の範囲20記載の生産物。 22.請求の範囲2の方法によって生産されたことを特徴とする生産物。 23.前記生産物は、インゴット或いは前記インゴットから圧延された板材であ ることを特徴とする請求の範囲22記載の生産物。 24.前記板材は、溶接が可能であることを特徴とする請求の範囲21記載の生産 物。 25.前記板材は、溶接が可能であることを特徴とする請求の範囲23記載の生産 物。
