Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a watertight effect by providing a cylinder part fitted in a watertight state in a pipe inner surface-lined layer from the cut surface of a steel pipe and a seal member having a flange part connected to the cut surface and forming a seal part, making contact with a coupling body lining layer, on the outer peripheral surface of the flange part. CONSTITUTION:A cap nut 16, a washer 10, and a packing 14 are inserted in the end parts of two steel pipes 15, and a seal member 18 is mounted on the end part of the two steel pipes 15. The cylinder part 19 of the seal member 18 prevents water from leaking through a gap between the steel pipe 15 and the seal member 18 to the outside. Meanwhile, a coupling body 12 is inserted in one steel pipe 15 and displaced to the other steel pipe 15 and thereafter, the cap nut 16 is screwed in the side of a coupling body 12 in such a state that the coupling body 12 is positioned astride a gap between the two steel pipes 15. During insertion of the coupling body 12 into one steel pipe 15 during the work and during displacement of it to the other steel pipe, a protrusion piece 21 is radially and longitudinally resiliently deformed as it makes contact with a corrosion proofing lining 22 and a seal pressure applied on the corrosion proofing lining 22 layer is ensured. The damage of the protrusion piece 21 during the work does not occur.

2. Description of the Related Art In piping for water supply and the like, from the viewpoint of measures against red water, the use of resin lining pipes having high corrosion resistance has become popular, and pipe joints therefor have been developed. Generally, a resin-lined pipe, that is, an inner-lined steel pipe, has a configuration in which the inner surface is coated with a vinyl chloride resin, or the inner surface is coated with a powder of polyethylene or the like, and the outer surface is subjected to only galvanization or mild anticorrosion coating.

A new inner lining steel pipe. In this case, the existing pipe and the new pipe are connected using a mechanical type pipe joint. Since the existing pipe is fixed, insert the joint into the end of the existing pipe, insert the new pipe between the existing pipes, and shift the joint toward the new pipe to connect. An insertion method is being used.

FIG. 3 shows an example of a conventional type joint. In order to prevent corrosion from the cut surface 3 of the steel pipe 1 having the lining 2 on the inner surface, an anticorrosion core 4 made of synthetic resin is attached to the pipe end. The O-ring 5 or U packing is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the flange of the anticorrosion core 4. The joint 6 includes a cylindrical main body 7,
A pair of packings 8, a washer 10, and a cap nut 9 screwed to both ends of the joint body 7 are provided at both ends of the joint body 7, and the inner diameter of the packing 8 is smaller than the outer diameter of the steel pipe 1. . At the time of construction, an anticorrosion core 4 with an O-ring 5 is attached to the cut end of the steel pipe 1, and a cap nut 9, a packing 8, a washer 1 are provided along the outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe 1.
0, and then the joint body 7 is arranged so as to straddle both ends of the steel pipes 1 to be connected, the cap nut 9 is moved toward the joint body 7, and the packing 8 is inserted into the joint body 7. The cap nut 9 is screwed onto the joint body 7 while being pushed.

As described above, a steel pipe is connected by inserting a cap nut, a washer, and a packing into a steel pipe to be connected in advance and disposing an anticorrosion core on a cut surface of the steel pipe. The new pipe is inserted between the steel pipes, and the new pipe is placed between the cut steel pipes.
Since the washer and the packing are inserted, the joint main body is shifted to the new pipe side, and the two pipe nuts are tightened to the joint main body, thereby connecting the new pipe and the steel pipe to obtain the joint form shown in FIG. During such work, the O-ring may be damaged or displaced, or the sealing pressure may not be sufficiently ensured due to manufacturing or assembly errors, and water may leak from the O-ring portion, and the joint body may be damaged. It causes corrosion of the inner peripheral surface. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned disadvantages of the related art.
