Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber product rich in aesthetic properties due to a sharp transparent feeling and a brilliant hue by laminating a light reflecting layer reflecting light transmitted through a colorless or colored rubber layer having transparency to the rubber layer. CONSTITUTION: An outer layer (upper layer) 1 composed of red transparent rubber, an intermediate light reflecting layer 2 composed of white opaque rubber and an outer layer (lower layer) 3 composed of green transparent rubber are laminated to form an integrated sheet with a total thickness of about 2mm and this sheet is vulcanized and molded to obtain a rubber composite. Pigment such as titanium oxide, zinc oxide, white lead or calcium carbonate or a metal powder is used in the light reflecting layer. When incident light is little, any one reflecting light such as white, silver or bright color opaque or translucent rubber, plastic, a nonwoven fabric, paper or metal mixed with fluorescent pigment, light emitting pigment or a luminous agent may be used and appropriately selected corresponding to use.

2. Description of the Related Art In a method for producing a colored rubber, generally, a white pigment such as titanium oxide is added to a polymer and then a predetermined color pigment is added, so that the transparency of the rubber itself is lost and it becomes cloudy. I can only get the colors like this. A rubber with good transparency can be obtained by directly adding a color pigment without using a white pigment such as titanium. However, due to differences in the type of polymer, degree of transparency, rubber thickness, etc. In many cases, bright colors cannot be obtained.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention considers obtaining a brighter color and tone in a transparent rubber, and for that purpose, it is sufficient to increase the amount of reflected light as a whole or change the hue of reflected light. Various studies were conducted with a focus on it.

As a result, if a layer that reflects the light transmitted through the rubber is provided under the transparent rubber and the reflected light is re-incident on the rubber, the total amount of light entering the eye increases. It was found that the color of the transparent rubber and the color of the reflected light could be mixed, and the present invention was accomplished.

That is, the present invention is a rubber composite in which a transparent colorless or colored rubber layer is laminated with a light reflecting layer for reflecting the light transmitted through the rubber layer. In addition to the two layers of the rubber layer and the light reflection layer, this may also have three or more layers with a light reflection layer interposed between them.

The light-reflecting layer includes a pigment such as titanium oxide, zinc white, lead white, calcium carbonate, etc., or a white powder containing a metal powder or a fluorescent pigment, a luminescent pigment, a luminous agent, etc. when the incident light is small. Any material capable of reflecting light such as silver, gold or light opaque or translucent rubber, plastic or woven cloth, non-woven cloth, paper, metal, etc. can be selected as appropriate according to the application.

By providing a layer for reflecting the light transmitted through the rubber under the transparent rubber, the reflected light can be re-incident on the rubber, and the total amount of light entering the eyes of the observer is increased. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a more vivid color and tone in the transparent rubber. In that case, the influence of the type and transparency of the polymer and the thickness of the rubber can be reduced.

Even if the amount of reflected light does not increase depending on the material and color of the reflective layer, it is possible to change the color and color tone that cannot be held by itself as compared with the surface layer rubber alone, and further change the thickness of the surface layer rubber. By doing so, you can freely change the color tone and color depth.

In the case of Example 1 in which the reflective layer is white rubber, both green and red have higher lightness and light reflectance than the comparative examples of green and red, and in the case of green, redness is reduced.
(Increase in green tint) and increase in yellow tint changed to bright yellow-greenish green, which is brighter than that of the comparative example green. In the case of red, the bright red light color is changed due to the increase in redness and the increase in yellowness as compared with the comparative example red.

In the case of Example 2 in which the reflective layer was silver rubber, the reflective layer was semi-transparent, and the light reflectance at each wavelength was slightly increased in green and red due to the complementary colors of green and red in the outer layers. Is decreasing. However, in Example 2, the green color has increased redness and yellowness, and the red color has decreased redness and yellowness, and has a complex color tone. From the sensory point of view, green was a reddish metallic green and red was a greenish metallic red, and a color tone and a pattern that could not be obtained in Comparative Examples were realized.

In the case of the rubber roller of Example 3, although data is omitted, it is a relatively dark green color as compared with the green color of Comparative Example 1, but Example 3 has a bright bright yellow-green color similar to that of Example 1 green. A rubber roller was obtained.

In this case, the parts without the paper were made into rubber composites by directly integrating the outer layers 1 and 3, respectively. These dye analyzes and light reflectances were measured in the same manner as in Examples 1 and 2. Table 3 shows the results.

As is clear from these results, the lightness and the light reflectance of Examples 4, 5 and 6 are larger than those of the comparative example green, and both decrease redness (increase greenness) and increase yellowishness, resulting in a bright yellow color. It has turned green. Example 4 is almost the same as Example 1, but the brightness of Examples 5 and 6 is slightly inferior to that of Example 1, but Example 5 is bright and yellowish green due to the unevenness of the nylon weave. The strong and concave portions were somewhat greener, and the texture pattern appeared regularly in a spotted pattern as a whole, resulting in a variety of patterns. In Example 6, the part without the paper changed to yellow-green, and the cross of yellow-green clearly appeared. Therefore, by cutting and inserting the paper shape into various patterns, the patterns can be made to stand out.
