Description of the Related Art Generally, as shown in FIG. 5, a core 41 for winding and winding and holding a ribbon is a hollow body having a substantially cylindrical shape, and a shaft member 42 is provided on the inner diameter side of the end of the hollow body. And a drive shaft provided in the printer main body is inserted. Then, for example, the rotation stopping claw 43 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 42.
Is provided, and the notch 44 that can be fitted into the rotation stopping claw 43 has an end surface 4 on the side where the shaft member 42 of the core 41 is inserted.
5 (see Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 4-67065). Here, the shaft member is rotatably supported by a support member so that the core is interposed between the drive shaft and the core when the core is not directly inserted into the drive shaft or the ribbon is unwound from the core. And is usually fitted on both ends of the core.

Since the cross section is uniform, it can be manufactured by first manufacturing a long core by extrusion, and then cutting the long core thus manufactured into a required width. Therefore, it is possible to omit the conventionally required process such as forming a notch for fitting the core to the shaft member and the like, and improve the dimensional accuracy.

At the same time, paper dust or the like is not generated due to contact friction with the drive shaft or the like, and, for example, when the ribbon is an ink ribbon, the transferred ink will not be blurred.

サイズのリボンコアを簡単に製造することができる。Further, since the core has a uniform cross-sectional shape, a core having a desired width can be easily obtained only by cutting a long core formed by extrusion molding into a required size. Further, by winding a wide ribbon around a core cut according to the wide ribbon and cutting these at once, a desired narrow ribbon core can be obtained. Therefore, mass production is possible, cost can be reduced, and ribbon cores of all sizes from narrow ribbons to wide ribbons can be easily manufactured.
