Although air conditioners have been improved in performance and are becoming smaller in size, for example, in an indoor unit, a heat exchanger 22 arranged inside a main body 21 is divided into upper and lower parts as shown in FIG. The exchanger is tilted backwards to reduce the height and reduce wasted space as much as possible to make it more compact.

By the way, as shown in FIG. 7, the heat exchanger 22 comprises a plurality of laminated fins 23, a heat transfer tube 24 passed through the fins 23, a fitting 25, etc. For example, as shown in FIG. 8, a hole for passing the heat transfer tube 24
The 26 are arranged in a staggered arrangement, and a plurality of cut-and-raised parts 27 are formed between the holes 26 to improve the heat dissipation (heat exchange). From the center to the slit 28, two slits

However, as described above, the heat exchanger 22 is moved up and down by two.
Although it is possible to reduce the height in the vertical direction to some extent by splitting and tilting the upper heat exchanger 22b rearward, there is a limit to this.

Further, if the connecting portion 29 is located at the center of the fin 23, unless the connecting portion 29 is formed to be long, when the connecting portion 29 is bent,
There is a drawback that the end faces provided with the slits 28 are in contact with each other and cannot be greatly bent.

In addition, since the connecting portion 29 is in the form of a flat plate, it is not easy to fold it, the bending position is not constant, and the swelling, folding, or contact between the fins 23 causes the size of the bent portion to be different. The variation may become large, and the workability of attaching to the main body 21 may deteriorate.

Therefore, even if the connecting portion 29 is provided near the end surface of the fin 23, if the shape is the same as that described above, the problem cannot be solved, and sometimes the fin on the upper portion during operation or after operation is stopped. In some cases, water drops flowing down from 23 cannot cross the connecting portion 29 and fall.

Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to solve these problems, to provide a heat exchanger for an air conditioner that can be further downsized and can be easily bent.

As described above, in the heat exchanger of the present invention, the upper two surfaces of the middle and upper stages are bent and formed in an inverted V shape, so that the vertical height can be significantly reduced, and the heat exchanger itself is small in size. It is possible to contribute to downsizing of the air conditioner as well as to reduce the size of the air conditioner. Moreover, since the notch or protrusion is formed in the fin connecting portion and the bending is performed around the notch or protrusion, the connecting portion and the Extreme deformation does not occur around it, the accuracy of the mounting dimensions after bending is also improved, the degree of contact between fins at the connection part is also improved, and the flow of water drops generated during operation is also improved. It is possible to obtain effects such as improvement.
