Next, the cylinder 135 is operated to feed the pallet for one pitch Px in the traveling direction. As a result, the containers in the first row are located directly above the container lifting device 137, and the containers in the second row are located directly above the rotating device 136. When the cylinder 137a of the lifting device 137 is activated, the rod 137
The containers in the first row are raised by b so as to be located between the light projector 138 and the light receiver 139. The engagement relationship between the tip of the rod 137b and the pan 103 is as described above. The light projector 138 includes the light source 138a and the Fresnel lens 138b, and the light receiver 139 includes the objective lens 139a and the light receiving plate 139b. The light receiving plate 139b is composed of several thousand light receiving elements arranged in a straight line in the vertical direction, and each of the light receiving elements sends a signal according to the amount of light to the arithmetic unit 140.

The principle of foreign matter inspection will be described with reference to FIG. If the foreign matter 141 is present in the solution 124 that performs the rotary motion given by the rotating device 136, the foreign matter 141 must be 1 during one rotation.
Light receiving element by blocking the transmitted light L from the rotating light source 138a
This is a method of determining suitability or unsuitability based on the change in the amount of light received by the light receiving element 139b-1 to form a shadow on 139b-1. Actually, one container is repeatedly measured a plurality of times (about 100 times), and each measured numerical value 142 is integrated by the arithmetic unit 140 as shown in FIG. 11, and judgment is made based on the magnitude of the integrated value 143. . For example, if there is a foreign substance in the solution 124, the integrated amount of received light 143 becomes extremely small, and therefore it can be determined.

In the conventional pallet type filling device as described above, if there is a problem in the process of supplying the container 101 to the pallet 102,
The number of containers 101 on the pallet 102 may be insufficient. In this apparatus, since there is no means for stopping the filling of the pallet 102 with the container in which the solution is not filled, there is a possibility that the solution may be filled in the pocket without the container and may be dripped. In order to prevent this, there are cases where the presence or absence of a container on the pallet is detected in advance and each valve for filling the solution is individually controlled, but the presence or absence of this container is detected before the solution filling device. A large number of sensors corresponding to all the upper pockets are arranged, which is inconvenient in handling and maintenance of the device.

That is, in the pallet type filling device according to the present invention,
The number of columns on the pallet is determined by the signal from the photoelectric switch that detects the presence or absence of a container in each row of the pallet in the pallet traveling direction and the signal from the position detector that identifies the position of the container in the pallet traveling direction. It is designed so that it is possible to know the number of the container in which the container is present or absent, and based on this, the downstream process is controlled by the control device. While the filling is stopped, the presence or absence of the container can be detected by a small number of sensors which correspond to the number of rows of the containers on the pallet in the pallet traveling direction.

That is, the photoelectric switch 1 shown in FIG. 1 is installed above the pallet 92 in which the container 91 is inserted, and four photoelectric switches 1a corresponding to the number of pockets arranged in the width direction of the pallet 92 are provided.
~ 1d is located. The position detector 2 is attached to a pallet conveying device (not shown), and the drive system is set so that the position detector 2 makes one rotation while the pallet 92 advances one pitch between the processes. When the signals from the photoelectric switches 1a to 1d and the position detector 2 are input, the container detection device 2 outputs the control conditions of the valve of the solution filling device (not shown) to the control device 93, and 10a shown in FIG. -40d AND circuit and 50a-80d shift register. The outputs of the shift registers 50a-80d are connected to the control device 93. Further, 94 shown in FIG. 1 is a container supply conveyor, 95 is a container discharge conveyor, and 96 is an empty pallet return conveyor. Further, B is a supply station for inserting the container 91 into the pallet 92, C is a filling station for filling the container 91 with a solution, D is a capping station for capping the container 91, and E is an inspection station for inspecting foreign matters in the container 91. , F are extraction stations for extracting the container 91 from the pallet 92, and each station is controlled by the control device 93.

Container supplied from the container supply conveyor 94 shown in FIG.
91 is inserted into the pallet 92 at the supply station B and sent to the filling station C. The photoelectric switches 1a to 1d detect the head of the container 91 in the middle thereof and send a signal indicating the presence or absence of the container 91 in the pallet 92 to the container detection device 93. Further, as the pallet 92 moves, the position detector 2 outputs a synchronization signal shown in FIG. 3 that matches the arrangement pitch of the containers 91 in the traveling direction of the pallet 92. That is, if the output state of the photoelectric switches 1a to 1d is H when the cam 1 of the position detector 2 shown in FIG.
The circuits 10a, 20a, 30a, 40a are activated to set the signal with container to the shift registers 50a, 60a, 70a, 80a. Next, if the output state of the photoelectric switches 1a to 1d is H when the cam 2 is turned on and the synchronizing signal of the second column is output, the AND circuits 10b, 20b, 30
b, 40b actuate and the signal of container presence shift register 50b, 6
It is set to 0b, 70b, 80b. Similarly, if there is a container 91 in the third and fourth columns, a signal indicating that a container is present is set in each corresponding shift register. The respective shift registers 50a-80d and the respective containers 91 on the pallet 92 correspond as shown in FIG.

The cam 5 is activated immediately before the pallet 92 reaches the home position of the filling device at the filling station C. The cam 5 is a shift signal, and the cam 5 outputs a signal indicating the presence or absence of a container from each shift register to the control device 93. The control device 93 controls the valve of the corresponding filling device based on the signal indicating the presence / absence of the container 91, and fills the solution vessel 91 with the solution in the case of the signal with the container, and does not fill it with the signal without the container.
In the next capping station D as well, capping is performed by the same action as in the filling station C. In the next inspection station E, the foreign matter in the container 91 is inspected, and the defective container 91 is not extracted in the extraction station F for extracting the container 91 from the next pallet 92, but remains inserted in the pallet 92. It is sent by the return conveyor 96 and is withdrawn on the way.

In this way, in this apparatus, the number of sensors for detecting the presence / absence of the container 91 is reduced, and by increasing the shift number, it becomes possible to send the information regarding the presence / absence of the container 91 to a further downstream process. By using the position detector 2, it is possible to easily change the generation timing of the synchronization signal, and the detection accuracy is improved.

The pallet-type filling device according to the present invention is configured as described above, and since the filling of the object to be filled is stopped in the pocket of the pallet without the container, it is possible to prevent the object to be drained and to prevent the pallet from filling up. Since the presence or absence of the container can be detected by a small number of sensors corresponding to the number of rows of the container in the pallet advancing direction, handling and maintenance of the present device are facilitated.
