However, in the above-described conventional teaching method, the teaching work (for example, inputting the position to the memory with the ten-key pad) after the movement to the storage section 52a is performed by the worker, so that It takes about 3 to 5 minutes to teach the positioning coordinates of one storage unit 52a, and if the total number of the storage units 52a is 100, for example, 300 minutes to complete the teaching work of the positioning coordinates. It takes about 500 minutes. This teaching time is a big problem in the industry where an extremely short start-up adjustment is required, and in addition, in order to ensure safety, two workers usually perform the teaching work, resulting in a high labor cost. It is also supposed to be done.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the positioning of a stocker robot for handling a work by moving a hand unit in each storage unit provided in a plurality of storage shelves based on positioning coordinates. In the coordinate teaching method, mark means is provided in each storage section so that the positional relationship with the work is constant, and the detection means for outputting a detection signal indicating the positional relationship between the mark means and the hand section is the hand section. In addition, the positional relationship of the hand part with respect to the mark means when the hand part is moved to the positioning coordinate of any one storage part is obtained as a reference position, and the input storage indicating the existing position of each storage part is stored. The positional relationship of the hand unit with respect to the mark means of each storage unit when the hand unit is moved to the unit coordinates is detected as a correction position, and the correction position is calculated. Serial moving the hand unit to match the reference position, the hand portion of the coordinates when a match is characterized in that the positioning coordinates of each storage unit. It is desirable that the mark means is formed integrally with the mounting plate together with the fixing portion that determines the mounting position of the work.

According to the above construction, the worker performs the processing for obtaining the reference position in any one storage unit and the processing for teaching the storage unit coordinates indicating the existing position of each storage unit. Alternatively, by teaching with numerical values, it is possible to teach the positioning coordinates of the hand unit in each storage unit from the reference position and the correction position obtained from the detection signal. Therefore, since there is no need to perform the teaching operation work of the hand part and the correction work of the confirmation of the handling by the workers in all the storage parts as in the conventional case, the teaching work can be completed safely and in an extremely short time. It is also possible to do it unattended (automatically). Further, by integrally forming the mark means and the fixing portion on the mounting plate, it is possible to make the positions of the mark means and the work constant by an extremely simple operation of installing the mounting plate.

As a result, only a worker is required for the process of obtaining the reference position in the specific storage unit 2a and the process of teaching the storage unit coordinates indicating the existing position of each storage unit 2a. Therefore, when teaching the positioning coordinates of the hand unit 11 in each storage unit 2a, it is not necessary for a worker to operate the hand unit 11 and confirm the handling as in the related art. Therefore, the time required for recognizing the positioning coordinates of one storage unit 2a is reduced to about 20 seconds. For example, if the total number of storage units 2a is 100, the teaching work of the positioning coordinates is completed in about 33 minutes. As a result, the teaching work can be completed safely and in a short time.

In the present embodiment, the detection means (imaging device 13, distance sensor 14) is provided in the hand portion 11, but the detection means detects the positioning coordinates of each storage portion 2a. Since it is used only when teaching, it is desirable that it be detachable from the viewpoint of cost. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 7, the detection means may have a configuration in which the distance sensor 14 and the imaging device 13 are provided on the plate member 21 that can be held by the hand grippers 12 of the hand unit 11. Further, as shown in FIG. 8, the distance sensor 14 may be of a contact type that outputs a height position signal (ON-OFF signal) when it contacts the mounting plate 16. Further, the detection means in this embodiment is, for example, 3
It may be an image processing apparatus capable of dimension measurement, and in this case, the distance sensor 14 becomes unnecessary.
