However, because of the mounting work, there is a problem that the mounting work cannot be performed unless the work is continuously performed from one side. Since work time on the seabed is restricted by the water depth, the work on the seabed must be replaced at a predetermined time, which causes a problem of poor workability.

That is, the protective unit tube 1 has two split surfaces along the tube axis direction.
A male joint 1c, which is connected by a bolt 2 and a nut 3 at 1a and has an outer diameter larger than that of an intermediate pipe portion 1b, is provided at one end in the pipe axial direction, and the male joint 1c is fitted to the other end so as not to come out. It has a structure in which a female joint 1d that can be fitted is provided. The protective unit tube 1 is attached to a male joint 1c of the protective unit tube 1 previously attached to the outer periphery of an elongated body (not shown) using the split surface 1a, and a female joint of the protective unit tube 1 to be attached later. The protection unit pipe connection group 4 is formed by fitting 1d and connecting them sequentially.
The protection unit pipe connection group 4 on the left side in FIG. 4 is formed by connecting the protection unit pipes 1 from left to right. The protection unit pipe connection group 4 on the right side in FIG. 4 is formed by connecting the protection unit pipes 1 from right to left. That is, this connecting work is performed in the directions approaching each other from different positions. Therefore, it is possible to perform the work of mounting the protective unit tube 1 by sharing it in the longitudinal direction. In the left and right protection unit pipe connection groups 4, the facing male joints 1c are connected by a connection unit pipe 5 so as not to escape.

The present invention is connected at two split surfaces along the tube axis direction and at one end in the tube axis direction. Is a protective unit having a structure in which a male joint having an outer diameter larger than that of the middle pipe portion is provided, and at the other end, a female joint having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the male joint and capable of fitting the male joint in a non-removable manner is provided. Pipes are mutually connected by fitting of the male joint and the female joint between adjacent protective unit pipes to form a protective unit pipe connecting group, and the protective unit pipe connecting group has a plurality of lines in the longitudinal direction. In a protective pipe for a long seabed laying body, the protective unit pipe connecting groups are arranged at different positions and face each other, and the joints of the facing unit pipes are fixedly connected to each other by connecting unit pipes, Connect the connecting unit pipes to the ends of It has a structure in which it has inner flanges for locking the joints of the mating ends, and is connected by two split surfaces along the pipe axial direction, and the inner diameter of the pipe part is the above-mentioned protection except for the inner flanges. It is characterized in that it is formed to be larger than the outer diameter of the joint at the opposite ends of the unit pipe connection group.

Using a structure in which the inner surfaces of the pipe portions are formed larger than the outer diameters of the joints of the facing end portions of the protection unit pipe connection groups, excluding the inner flange, A joint at the end of the adjacent protective unit pipe connection group can be present at any position in the pipe portion, so that the variation in the distance between the ends of the adjacent protective unit pipe connection groups in the pipe portion is absorbed. be able to. Therefore, even if there is a variation in the distance between the ends of the adjacent protection unit tube connection groups, the connection can be performed without any trouble. Moreover, the connecting portion in this case is also flexible. In addition, if a connecting unit pipe is used whose inner diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the joint at the facing end of each protective unit pipe connecting group except for the inner flanges at both ends, the connecting unit pipe of the facing protective unit pipe connecting group Whether the end portion is a male joint or a female joint, one type of connection unit pipe can be used for connection.

管。1. A male joint having a larger outer diameter than that of an intermediate pipe portion is provided at one end in the pipe axial direction, the male joint being connected by two split surfaces along the pipe axial direction, and at the other end. A protection unit tube having a structure having a female joint having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter and capable of fitting the male joint in a non-detachable manner is provided by fitting the male joint and the female joint between adjacent protective unit tubes. The protection unit tube connection groups are connected to each other to form a plurality of protection unit tube connection groups, and the protection unit tube connection groups are arranged so that their positions are different from each other in the longitudinal direction and their ends face each other. In a protective pipe for a submarine laying long body in which end joints are connected in a connection unit pipe so as not to be able to escape, the connection unit pipe is provided at both ends of the pipe portion, and the facing end portion of each protection unit pipe connection group is It has inner collars that lock the joints, and it is connected by two split surfaces along the pipe axis direction. Submarine laying, characterized in that the inner diameter of the pipe portion is formed larger than the outer diameter of the joint at the facing end portion of each protection unit pipe connecting group except for the inner flange. Protective tube for long body.
