Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a submarine fence satisfactorily durable under the severe environmental conditions of the sea floor and capable of preventing intrusion of a submarine animal such as a sea urchin or an ear shell without fail. CONSTITUTION:An individual unit as a constituent member 7 for constituting this submarine fence is formed by detachably attaching a long base plate 4 on which plural flexible wires 6 are planted so as to be arranged in two lines in the longitudinal direction to a block 1 capable of stably holding the base plate 4 in the sea floor. The plural units of the resultant constituent members 7 are arranged in the sea floor, thus establishing the objective submarine fence capable of preventing intrusion of a submarine animal such as a sea urchin or an ear shell.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, the demand for benthic animals such as sea urchins and abalone has been increasing due to the gourmet thinking of the general public. Therefore, in order to secure a predetermined catch, such benthic animals are collected within a certain area on the seabed to protect them from natural enemies or to raise them artificially.

On the contrary, benthic animals such as sea urchin and abalone,
Since useful seaweeds such as kelp are also used as food, in the area of the seabed where harvest of kelp is intended, in order to prevent feeding damage by benthic animals, the surrounding area should be covered with a fence to infiltrate sea urchins and abalone. Have been prevented.

However, here,
In the sea where benthic animals such as sea urchin and abalone live, there is a tide flow, so in a robust fence made of wood etc. that receives the tide flow properly,
The problem was that if the fence was not formed so sturdy that it could not be used for many years.

[0006] In addition, since the sea urchin is a thorn and a pipe foot, and in the case of abalone, it moves with a sticky force, and easily overcame a vertical wall, the fence made of wood is a barrier to some extent. There was a problem that it could not be expected to be effective, and it was not a fence that could completely prevent the movement of benthic animals such as sea urchins and abalone.

[0007] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems existing in the conventional fences, and its purpose is to sufficiently withstand the poor environmental conditions of the seabed, and yet to provide benthic animals such as sea urchins and abalone. The purpose is to provide a submarine fence that can reliably block traffic to and from.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a fence in which a plurality of wire rods are planted like a toothbrush. That is, the present invention, by arranging a plurality of long substrates in which a plurality of flexible wire rods are planted along the longitudinal direction, on the seabed, the movement of benthic animals such as sea urchins and abalone, etc. It was decided to form a fence that can be prevented.

Here, it is preferable that the flexible wire material to be implanted in the substrate is implanted along the longitudinal direction of the substrate in a state in which a plurality of wires are bundled. With this structure, it is easy to plant the wire rod on the board, and the upper part of the wire rod that is planted in a bundle is bent left and right and front and back to form a fence with volume. This is because it becomes possible.

Further, it is preferable that the substrate is detachably fixed to the block. This is because even if the wire rod implanted in the board has a defect in a part of the fence due to corrosion or bending under the bad environmental condition of the seabed, only the part of the fence is removed from the block. This is because the maintenance becomes possible.

When the substrate is detachably fixed to the block as described above, it is preferable that the block is a block made of a flexible material such as rubber. This is because if the block that fixes the substrate is a flexible block, even if the seabed has undulations, the block can be installed according to the undulations, and there is no gap with the seabed and it is stable. This is because it is possible to form a fence in a state.

Further, when the substrate is detachably fixed to the block, it is preferable that the block has a sufficient weight. This is because if the block for fixing the substrate has a sufficient weight, it is not necessary to fix the block to the seabed with an anchor or the like, and the fence can be easily formed.
