Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite false twist yarn having soft touch feeling and excellent in lightweight feeling. SOLUTION: This composite false twist yarn is such a yarn that at least two kinds of filament yarns with mutual yarn stickiness difference are mutually combined at a yarn stickiness, having the following characteristics: (a) the filament yarn(s) with greater stickiness difference consists of hollow filaments with hollow state pulsed along the longer direction; (b) the phase for pulsed state differs between these filaments; and (c) on any section of this composite false twist yarn, there are at least three kinds of hollow filaments differing in shape and hollow rate from one another at an arbitrary cross-section.

Such hollow fibers have a larger apparent diameter than solid fibers of the same denier and therefore have a feeling of coarseness and hardness.
When used for clothing, various high-order processings were required.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of intensive studies for solving the above problems, the present inventors have found that, of at least two types of filament yarns having different elongations, the filament yarn having the larger elongation is hollow. When using a filament and false twisting the composite filament under specific conditions, it was clarified that the hollow state was pulsed to obtain a desired composite false twisted yarn.

Method for producing twisted yarn (a) A difference in elongation between two or more kinds of synthetic fiber filament yarns having different elongations is set to 300% or more. (B) The draw ratio is 1.3 or less. (C) The yarn temperature immediately after the exit of the false-twist heat-setting heater is maintained at 70 to 100 ° C. Is provided.

The hollow ratio of the hollow filament is 20%.
When the hollow ratio is less than 20%, the pulsing of the filament in the hollow state in the longitudinal direction does not sufficiently occur. However, if the hollow ratio is too large, fibrils are likely to be generated and the weavability is deteriorated. Therefore, it is preferable that the hollow ratio is at most about 50%.

Since the hollow filament (2) is stretched while being twisted, air existing in the hollow portion is pushed out in the longitudinal direction of the filament, and the hollow portions have a hollow ratio of 20 to 80% with respect to each other. When the difference in the staple length is less than 30%, the composite false twisted yarn does not have a two-layer structure, the collapse of the hollow portion becomes large, and the pulsing state may not be exhibited. On the other hand, when the difference in thread length is more than 50%, it becomes difficult to uniformly stretch the fibers, which may cause defects such as stains and streaks.

Subsequently, both filaments were heated to 105 ° C.
Heat was set for 0.17 seconds with the first heater set to 1., the yarn temperature at the heater outlet was set to 90 ° C., and the yarn was introduced into a triaxial friction false twisting device rotating at a surface speed of 630 m / min. Stretching false twisting was performed under the conditions of 25 times and a processing speed of 350 m / min.
