Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush cap for covering a head of a brush to protect it, which can be easily attached and detached repeatedly without damaging the tip of the brush and can house and preserve the head excellently and stably for a long time without generating fungus at the head. SOLUTION: A brush cap 1 comprises a fixing section 2 to be fixed to a handle of a brush, a connecting section 4 having a diameter which is gradually and continuously becoming larger than that of the fixing section 2, a head housing section 3 having a diameter larger than that of the fixing section 2, and a backflow stopper 7 provided at the connecting section 4 as a simple substance. At an end part of the head side of the head housing section 3, an inserting opening 6 is formed. At a tip in contact with the fixing section of the connecting section 4, the backflow stopper 7 which becomes the recessed groove on the outer face and becomes the protruded streak on the inner face is formed. The inner diameter of the opening 6 of the head housing section 3 is formed to be larger than that of the opening 5 of the fixing section 2.
