【発明の実施の形態】本発明の一実施の形態を図１に示
す。図に示すタフトカーペット(1) は基布(2) と、該基
布(2) にタフティングされたパイル(3) とからなり、該
基布(2) とパイル(3) とは実質的に同色にされている。
該基布(2) とパイル(3) とは例えばポリエステル繊維、
脂肪族または芳香族ポリアミド繊維、アクリル繊維、ポ
リエチレン繊維、ポリプロピレン繊維、ビニリデン繊
維、ポリ塩化ビニル繊維、ポリウレタン繊維、ビニロ
ン、レーヨン、キュプラ、アセテート等の合成繊維を材
料としており、該基布(2) は該繊維の不織布あるいは編
織物である。

た繊維を使用する方法、該基布(2) をパイル(3) と同色
に染色する方法、該基布(2) をパイル(3) と同色に塗装
する方法、該基布(2) 表面にパイル(3) をシャーリング
した時に発生する繊維粉をまぶしつける方法等がある。

が損なわれることがなく、またカーペット見る方向によ
って色の濃淡が変化するようなこともない。

ーペットであって、基布とパイルとを実質的に同色にし
