Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and to enhance impact resistance. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe 10 comprises a function 2, including a piezoelectric vibrator and the like, and a cable 3 connected to the function 2, both of which are stored in a resin housing 4, with a potting agent 5 filling time inner space of the resin housing 4 and with an elastic-member grip cap 6 put over the resin housing 4. The elastic-member grip cap 6 is made of paper or fabric impregnated with vulcanized rubber, cellular rubber, an elastomer, or compounded rubber with a hardness of about 30 deg. or less, which is elastic enough so that it can be deformed readily by the force of fingers, or it is made of cellular rubber impregnated with a silicone polymer, etc. Therefore, since the probe is deformed to match the size and force of the operator's finger, operability can be enhanced. Also, since it absorbs externally applied impact forces, damage to the inner structural parts such as the function can be prevented.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In a first aspect, the present invention is an ultra-sized member made of an elastic member having an elastic force capable of being deformed by the force of a finger and covering the housing of an ultrasonic probe. A grip cap for a sonic probe is provided. The first
By covering the ultrasonic probe housing with the ultrasonic probe grip cap from the point of view, when the operator holds the ultrasonic probe, it naturally deforms into a shape that fits the operator's finger. . Also, if you change the way you hold it, the shape will change naturally.
That is, it is possible to naturally obtain a shape that is actually easy to operate according to the operator and the use situation. Further, since the outermost part of the ultrasonic probe is the elastic grip cap for the ultrasonic probe, it is possible to sufficiently prevent the shock when the ultrasonic probe is accidentally dropped or collided with a wall or the like. Can absorb,
It becomes possible to protect structural parts such as functions. In the above structure, as the elastic member,
An elastic material such as vulcanized rubber having a hardness of about 30 ° or less, cellular rubber, elastomer, impregnated paper or woven fabric with compounded rubber, or impregnated cellular rubber with silicon polymer can be used. When such an elastic material is used, the manufacturing becomes easy and the cost can be reduced. Further, in the above structure, as the elastic member,
It is possible to use a structure in which a bag such as a polyethylene sheet is filled with a liquid such as physiological saline or purified water or a gel-like material such as a silicone polymer. When such a structure is used, the appearance and the smoothness of the surface and the degree of elasticity can be independently determined, and the degree of freedom in design can be improved.

According to the grip cap for an ultrasonic probe and the ultrasonic probe of the present invention, since the outer side of the housing for accommodating the function is covered with the elastic member, the following effects can be obtained. (1) Since the grip cap is deformed so as to match the gripping force of the operator and the size of the finger, even if the operator is different,
You can always get good operability. (2) Since the grip cap is deformed according to how the operator holds and how to apply force, good operability can always be obtained even when the usage state is different. For example, when the ultrasonic probe is fixed on the subject, a relatively strong force is applied, the degree of deformation is increased, and the ultrasonic probe can be held stably. On the other hand, when the ultrasonic probe is moved on the subject, a relatively weak force is applied, the degree of deformation is small, and the ultrasonic probe is easy to move. (3) Since the minute vibration not intended by the operator can be absorbed by the elasticity of the grip cap, the subject can be stably scanned. Therefore, the quality of the ultrasonic image can be improved. (4) Because of the effects of (1) to (3), it is not necessary to give ergonomic consideration to the three-dimensional shape of the housing, and a relatively simple shape can be obtained. (5) When the ultrasonic probe is dropped or collided with a wall or the like, the impact can be absorbed by the grip cap.
As a result, impact resistance can be improved and damage to internal structural parts such as functions can be prevented. (6) By making the grip cap attachable to and detachable from the housing, when a body fluid or dust of the subject is attached, it can be easily replaced with a new one, which is hygienic. (7) By having antibacterial properties, it becomes more hygienic.
