However, among the chromate films formed by electrolysis, although the chromium elution is not small, the corrosion resistance cannot be said to be sufficient, and the scratch resistance of the film during processing is poor, and therefore the corrosion resistance after processing is low. Further, since the chromate film formed by the coating type has a considerable amount of hexavalent chromium in the film,
Hexavalent chromium repairs the scratches on the chromate film and cracks on the film or metal plating produced by working, so that relatively good corrosion resistance can be obtained by the so-called repair effect. However, the corrosion resistance is not necessary and sufficient, and hexavalent chromium elutes during use, which is not preferable from the viewpoint of environmental hygiene, and there is a strong demand for reduction of chromium elution amount. Further, the fingerprint resistance is also poor, and improvement is desired.

On the other hand, various resin chromates have been investigated for the purpose of suppressing the chromium elution amount. In each case, although the chromium elution amount can be suppressed, the corrosion resistance of the processed part is poor. In particular, cracks are generated in the plating layer during processing, which causes a marked failure in a base material having poor workability such as a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. The reason for this has not been fully clarified, but in the resin chromate, the chromium elution is suppressed by the added organic component, so that the effect of repairing hexavalent chromium as in the case of coating type chromate cannot be obtained. Thought to be one. For this reason, there has been no resin chromate film capable of ensuring corrosion resistance in the processed part.

The polyester resin (a) used in the present invention has an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (including a hydrophilic group-containing aromatic dicarboxylic acid such as a metal sulfonate group) as an acid component.
It is necessary to copolymerize 30 mol% or more, preferably 40 mol% or more of the total acid component. If the amount of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid is less than 30 mol%, the elution resistance of chromium and the fingerprint resistance are deteriorated. As the aromatic dicarboxylic acid containing no hydrophilic group,
For example, terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, orthophthalic acid,
1,5-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, 4,4′-diphenyldicarboxylic acid,
2,2'-diphenyldicarboxylic acid, 4,4'-diphenyletherdicarboxylic acid and the like can be mentioned. this house,
Particularly, terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid are preferable, and the repeating unit obtained from these acid components and ethylene glycol, for example, is stable even in the presence of mineral acid or chromic acid. As the other dicarboxylic acid, an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid may be copolymerized. As the alicyclic dicarboxylic acid, 1,2-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, 1,3-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid,
1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, 4-methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride, 3-methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride, 2-methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride, dicarboxyhydrogenated bisphenol A, dicarboxyhydrogenated bisphenol S, hydrogen Examples thereof include added dimer acid, hydrogenated naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, and the like, and aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, succinic acid, glutaric acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid, dodecanedioic acid, azelaic acid, dimer acid and the like. Of these, 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid is particularly preferable as the alicyclic dicarboxylic acid, and sebacic acid and azelaic acid are particularly preferable as the aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. Further, a polyvalent carboxylic acid such as trimellitic anhydride or pyromellitic dianhydride may be used in combination as long as the content of the invention is not impaired.

In order to obtain good corrosion resistance in the processed part and a stable aqueous solution or dispersion, it is most preferable to use a metal sulfonate base and / or a polyalkylene oxide alone or in combination as the hydrophilic group. The preferred amount of metal sulfonate base in the polyester resin is in the range of 0.1 to 8 wt% as sulfur. When it is less than 0.1% by weight, hydrophilicity is insufficient and good water solubility or water dispersibility cannot be obtained, and it is preferable to use polyalkylene glycol in combination. When it exceeds 8% by weight, the hydrophilicity of the chromate film becomes too strong, which is not preferable. The preferred amount of polyalkylene oxide in the polyester resin is 10-8.
0% by weight. If it is less than 10% by weight, the hydrophilicity is insufficient, and it is necessary to use a metal sulfonate base together.
If it exceeds 80% by weight, it is not preferable in terms of chromium elution and fingerprint resistance. Examples of the polyalkylene glycol include polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, polytetramethylene glycol, and the like.
Polyethylene glycol is the most desirable in terms of corrosion resistance and water dispersibility of the processed part. The preferred molecular weight of the polyalkylene glycol is 500 to 20,000, more preferably 1000 to 10,000. When the molecular weight is less than 500, hydrophilicity is not sufficiently imparted, and when the molecular weight exceeds 20,000, compatibility with other components of the polyester resin is deteriorated and the resin becomes brittle, which is not preferable. The polyalkylene oxide and the repeating unit of other glycol may be random copolymers or block copolymers.

Synthesis Example of Polyester Resin (A) 99.6 parts of terephthalic acid, 101 parts of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid, 111 parts of ethylene glycol, and 0.102 of tetrabutyl titanate were placed in a reaction vessel equipped with a stirrer, a condenser and a thermometer. And 1.4 parts of sodium acetate were charged, and the esterification reaction was performed from 160 ° C. to 240 ° C. for 4 hours. Then, 42.8 parts of polyethylene glycol (molecular weight 1000) was charged, and the mixture was stirred at 210 ° C. for about 15 minutes. Then, the pressure inside the system was gradually reduced to 50 mmHg over 50 minutes, and further reduced to 0.
A polycondensation reaction was performed at 260 ° C. for 15 minutes under a vacuum of 3 mmHg or less. As a result of composition analysis such as NMR, the obtained polyester resin was found to have a molar ratio of acid component of terephthalic acid / 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid = 60/40 and glycol component of ethylene glycol / polyethylene glycol = 9.
It was 5/5. The sulfur content of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid in the polyester resin was 4.6% by weight, and the content of polyethylene glycol was 18% by weight. The reduced viscosity of this polyester resin is 0.13d
It was 1 / g, the number average molecular weight was 2,200, and the glass transition temperature was about 9 ° C. Obtained polyester resin (A) 50
Parts and 450 parts of ion-exchanged water were charged into a flask equipped with a stirrer, a condenser and a thermometer, and dissolved by stirring at 80 ° C. for 3 hours. Then, it was cooled to room temperature to obtain an aqueous dispersion of polyester (A). This aqueous dispersion had a good stability and was a milky white liquid having a solution viscosity of 50 cps. The results are shown in Table 1.
