Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a pack cosmetic, excellent in film strength, humectant, fouling removing and texture improving properties and having quick-drying properties and good releasability. CONSTITUTION: This pack cosmetic is obtained by blending 5-30wt.% mixture of two kinds of water-soluble polymers of chitosan with pullulan as a film- forming agent. The chitosan is prepared by neutralization with an organic acid and the chitosan and pullulan are contained at a blending ratio of the chitosan to the pullulan is (3/7) to (7/3), preferably (4/6) to (6/4). The organic acid used for neutralizing the chitosan has one carboxyl group and one or more functional groups selected from the carboxyl group, amino group, hydroxyl group, ether group and amide group in the molecule and is preferably succinic acid, tartaric acid, etc., used in a molar amount of 0.8-1 based on the amino groups in the chitosan for neutralization. Since a film prepared by using the pack cosmetic manifests good humectant effects, good moistness is obtained after use thereof.

2. Description of the Related Art As a pack cosmetic currently on the market, a peel-off type pack cosmetic is known in which a paste containing a film-forming agent is applied to the skin, and the film is peeled off after drying. Has been. Such a peel-off type pack cosmetic uses polyvinyl alcohol, pullulan and the like as a film forming agent, and a humectant such as propylene glycol and glycerin mixed therein. Polyvinyl alcohol and pullulan form high-strength films among conventional film-forming agents. However, even if such a film-forming agent is used, in order to remove it properly,
It takes a considerably long time of 20 minutes or more. In addition, the skin has a too strong affinity for the skin, and there is a drawback that pain may be felt when the film is peeled off.

In order to solve these drawbacks, a pack cosmetic using a mixture of an acid salt of chitosan or a water-soluble derivative thereof and a nonionic water-soluble polymer as a film-forming agent has been proposed (special feature: Kaihei 5-345712). Although such a publication describes that a salt of chitosan or a water-soluble derivative thereof is used in combination with a nonionic water-soluble polymer compound, the film strength is improved. As a result of additional tests, the film strength was equal to or less than that of the pack cosmetic using only polyvinyl alcohol, and a sufficiently satisfactory result was not obtained. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a pack cosmetic having excellent film strength, quick-drying property, good peeling property, and excellent moisturizing property, stain-removing property and texture improving property.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have found that chitosan neutralized with an organic acid and pullulan are blended at a specific ratio to form a film-forming agent for pack cosmetics. As a result, they have found that a high-strength film with less damage to the skin can be formed and the above problems can be solved, and the present invention has been completed. That is, the present invention contains chitosan neutralized with an organic acid, and pullulan,
The ratio of chitosan and pullulan is chitosan / weight ratio.
The present invention provides a pack cosmetic, wherein pullulan is 3/7 to 7/3.

Chitosan used in the present invention is (1,4) -2.
-Acetamido-2-deoxy-β-D-glucan is a deacetylated chitin having a structure, (1,4) -2-
It has an amino-2-deoxy-β-D-glucan structure. Generally, naturally occurring chitin has an acetamide group that is partly an amino group, and therefore has a deacetylation degree of 30% or more with chitosan used in the present invention. The degree of deacetylation is not particularly specified, but considering the interaction, the higher the degree of deacetylation is, the better, and it is preferably 80% or more. Further, in the present invention, a chitosan derivative in which a part of amino groups or hydroxyl groups of chitosan is modified by acylation, esterification, etherification, or other reaction is also included. In the present invention, the molecular weight of chitosan is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to use one having a molecular weight of about 10,000 to 1,000,000.

The organic acid used for neutralizing chitosan in the present invention has one carboxyl group in the molecule and one or more functional groups selected from a carboxyl group, an amino group, a hydroxyl group, an ether group and an amide group. Those having are preferred. Specific examples include lactic acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, oxalic acid, malic acid, citric acid, glycolic acid and the like, with succinic acid and tartaric acid being particularly preferred. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more. The organic acid has an increased interaction amount with chitosan and pullulan as compared with an organic acid having only one carboxyl group such as acetic acid, propionic acid, and butyric acid, and is effective for increasing the film strength. Although chitosan can be solubilized in water even if an inorganic acid is used, it is not preferable in terms of safety. The amount of the organic acid used for neutralizing chitosan in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as chitosan is neutralized, but the amount of the organic acid based on the amino group of chitosan is not limited.
It is preferable to use 0.8 to 1.0 times mol.

The pullulan used in the present invention is not particularly limited, and may be derivatized if it is dissolved in water. Regarding the blending ratio of the neutralized chitosan and pullulan in the pack cosmetic of the present invention, it is necessary that the weight ratio is within the range of chitosan / pullulan = 3/7 to 7/3, preferably 4 / It is 6 to 6/4. That is, within this range, the strength of the film can be increased as compared with chitosan or pullulan alone. Further, if it is out of this range, the film strength becomes almost equal to that of chitosan or pullulan alone, and the effect of the present invention cannot be obtained. In the present invention, since the strength of the film can be increased, not only the peeling property of the film is improved, but also the strength can be peeled in a short time after applying the pack cosmetic, which is also effective in shortening the drying time. Become. The total content of chitosan and pullulan in the pack cosmetic of the present invention is preferably 5 to 30% by weight. If it is less than 5% by weight, the film becomes thin and the peeling property decreases.
When the content is more than wt%, the viscosity of the pack cosmetic becomes high and the coating property is deteriorated.

In the pack cosmetic of the present invention, in addition to the above-mentioned film forming agent, an oil agent, a moisturizer, an activator, a pigment, an antiseptic, a bactericide, a coloring agent, a fragrance, an organic solvent used in conventional pack cosmetics. (Ethanol or the like), a medicinal agent, and the like can be appropriately added within a range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. However, since chitosan and pullulan used in the present invention have high moisturizing properties themselves, even if the amount of the moisturizing agent used is reduced, the film prepared using the pack cosmetic of the present invention has a good moisturizing effect. Show. That is, after use, a good moist feeling is obtained.

According to the above method, 45.15 g of citric acid (1.0 mol based on the amino group of chitosan) was used instead of succinic acid to prepare an aqueous solution B having a solid content concentration of 20%. Moreover, ion-exchanged water was added to 100 g of 20.0 g of commercially available pullulan (PI-20; manufactured by Hayashibara Co., Ltd., weight average molecular weight: 200,000), and the pullulan was dissolved with stirring at room temperature. A 20% aqueous solution of pullulan (aqueous solution C) was prepared by removing the insoluble matter by filtration through a 200-mesh wire net.
