Abstract

PURPOSE: To use a recycle raw material and absorb thermal expansion produced by cold and hot weather so as to prevent warping and protect replacement work without any operational failure. CONSTITUTION: This road edge stone comprises an edge stone main body 1 which is extended in one direction so that it may be installed along a traffic lane of a road and a through hole 2 bored at least on both ends. The edge stone main body 1 comprises a core 11 and a skin area 12 which covers the surface of the core. The through hole 2 forms a long hole extending in the longitudinal direction and allows a fixing anchor bolt 3 to be inserted into the through hole 2. A recycle material can be used for the core area 11 whose outward appearance is not exposed. If it ranges within a play area of the long hole, it is possible to absorb pitch displacement between the through hole 2 and an anchor nut and protect displacement without causing any trouble.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, concrete blocks containing reinforcing bars are generally used most as road curbs, but since the weight of concrete road curbs is 30 kg or more, it is difficult to carry and construct. It requires labor, is a heavy burden on the construction workers, and is difficult to reuse when it is removed, which is a problem as industrial waste. In particular, when using these concrete road curbs when dividing a provisional two-lane for construction of a highway, usually one construction section is a few
Since it reached 0 km, the road curb used for it also became large in quantity, which was extremely heavy for the construction workers.

Therefore, in recent years, a road curb obtained by molding a synthetic resin such as polyethylene has also been used. This resin road curb has through holes formed at both ends of the curb body, and anchor bolts are inserted through the through holes and screwed into anchor nuts on the road surface to be fixed to the road surface. However, the synthetic resin used for this road curb is not a resin that can be used for any purpose, and considering the appearance of the road from the viewpoint of improving the road landscape, it is difficult to obtain clear colors and good surface conditions for recycling (recycle). ) Since the raw material cannot be used and the virgin (unused) raw material has to be used, the cost is higher than that of concrete. In addition, the road curb made of resin has a large thermal expansion due to cold and heat and may be deformed by warping. Therefore, when replacing another road curb, the pitch of the through holes at both ends and the corresponding anchor nuts on the road surface may be misaligned. There was a case where the anchor bolts could not be screwed onto the anchor nuts because they did not match, which hindered replacement work.

According to the road curb according to the present invention, the curb body is composed of the core portion and the skin portion covering the surface thereof, the core portion is not exposed to the appearance, and the skin portion is exposed to the appearance. If the recycled material is used for the part and the virgin material is used for the skin, the recycled material can be used, the appearance is not deteriorated, and a clear color and a good surface state can be obtained.

Further, since the through-holes formed at both ends of the curb body are long holes in the longitudinal direction, even if there is a pitch shift due to thermal expansion due to cold and warm, the play of the long holes is increased. Within the range, the thermal expansion and the like are absorbed to prevent warpage, and the anchor bolt cannot be screwed onto the anchor nut even during the replacement work, which does not hinder the replacement work.

The curb body 1 is composed of a core portion 11 and a skin portion 12 covering the surface thereof. The material of the curb body 1 is not particularly limited, but considering that the core portion 11 is not exposed to the appearance and the skin portion 12 is exposed to the appearance, the core portion 11 is made of polyethylene, polypropylene, or the like. Using synthetic resin recycled raw material, skin part 1
It is preferable to use a virgin raw material of synthetic resin such as these for 2 in terms of cost, but the core part 11 and the skin part 12
Different or the same virgin raw material may be used for both.

When the virgin raw material is used for both the core portion 11 and the skin portion 12, it is preferable that the core portion 11 uses the cheapest raw material in order to reduce the cost. Alternatively, the core portion 11 may be made of a material other than synthetic resin, for example, concrete, and the surface of the concrete may be covered with the skin portion 12 made of synthetic resin. Further, an elastic material such as rubber may be used for the core portion 11.

Further, a retro-reflecting material or a road tack which is irradiated and reflected by the headlight of the vehicle may be appropriately attached to the upper surface of the curb body 1, so that in this embodiment, the attachment hole 13 for the road tack is provided on the upper surface. It is provided, but need not be provided.

Next, a method for constructing the road curb of the present invention will be described. First, when a road curb is newly attached, the anchor bolts 3 are respectively inserted from the through holes 2 at both ends of the curb body 1 and the anchor nuts 5 are screwed to the back surface in advance. On the other hand, a fixing hole 41 into which the anchor nut 5 is to be inserted is previously formed in the road surface 4 to be constructed. Next, the curb body 1 may be brought into contact with the road surface 4, the anchor nuts 5 may be inserted into the fixing holes 41, respectively, and the anchor nuts 5 may be fixed to the road surface 4 with an adhesive or cement.

When replacing an already installed road curb due to deterioration, etc., the anchor bolt 3 is loosened to remove the deteriorated road curb, and then a new road curb is brought into contact with the road surface 4, and the anchor bolt 3 May be screwed from the through hole 2 to the anchor nut 5 on the road surface 4. In this case, since the through holes 2 are elongated in the longitudinal direction, even if the pitch of the through holes 2 and the pitch of the anchor nuts 5 are deviated within the play of the elongated holes, the through holes 2 are not warmed due to the cold weather. Even if the pitch is deviated, the anchor bolt 3 cannot be screwed onto the anchor nut 5 on the road surface 4.
