Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricating rubber composition, capable of maintaining sealability, strength, elasticity, etc., essential to rubbers, excellent in high lubricity and long-term stability such as abrasion resistance and useful as automotive parts, etc., by blending a specific rubber with specified amounts of a specific modified polybutadiene and a modified silicone oil. SOLUTION: This lubricating rubber composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. butadiene-based rubber vulcanizable with a peroxide such as a (partially hydrogenated) nitrile rubber or a (partially hydrogenated)ethylene propylene rubber with (B) 5-20 pts.wt. modified polybutadiene having carboxyl groups (e.g. a methacrylated polybutadiene) and (C) 5-20 pts.wt. modified silicone oil having terminal OH groups (e.g. polydimethyl siloxane having one terminal OH group).

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a lubricating rubber composition, and more specifically, to a rubber molded product which does not impair the sealability, strength and followability that rubber materials originally have, and which contributes to lubricity. The present invention relates to a lubricious rubber composition that can be formed.

2. Description of the Related Art A rubber material is widely used after being molded into a seal member or the like. Generally, a rubber molded body made of a rubber material has a large friction coefficient, so that the adhesiveness and the followability are good at first, but a squeal phenomenon (stick / slip) gradually occurs, and as a result, it wears, and the initial adhesiveness and the followability deteriorate. Come on.
Various methods have been tried as methods for contributing lubricity to such rubber materials. For example, there is a method of mixing a resin such as tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a solid lubricant such as graphite or molybdenum into a rubber material. In addition, there is a method of mixing a lubricating oil such as silicone oil or fluorinated oil, which allows the lubricating oil to seep out during sliding to reduce friction (oil bleed method). Alternatively, there is a method of coating the surface of the rubber molding with a resin to improve the lubricity of the surface of the molding.

However, in the method of mixing the solid lubricant into the rubber material, the formed rubber material has a low mechanical strength and a low rubber elasticity, resulting in poor followability. There is a tendency, and the compression set tends to increase. In addition, in the method of mixing the lubricating oil, the molded body made of this rubber material may have a large bleeding speed of oil during use and may have a variation in life, or the mating material may be soiled with oil. Finally, the rubber molded product having a coated surface tends to have insufficient wear resistance and durability, or the rubber elasticity of the surface of the rubber molded product is reduced, resulting in poor followability.

As described above, without impairing the sealability, strength, elasticity and followability which rubber materials originally have,
In addition, the emergence of a rubber material capable of forming a rubber molded product which can be stabilized for a long time and exhibit sliding properties such as lubricity and wear resistance is desired.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a diene rubber capable of peroxide vulcanization, a modified polybutadiene having a carboxyl group and an OH at the end.
A means for producing a lubricating rubber composition containing a silicone oil having a base is adopted. First, as the diene rubber of the present invention, conventionally known diene rubbers are widely used, and specific examples thereof include nitrile rubber and ethylene propylene rubber. Further, these rubbers may be hydrogenated rubbers in which some of the double bonds in the molecule are hydrogenated. Next, the modified polybutadiene having a carboxyl group is one in which a carboxyl group is connected to the side chain of polybutadiene, and for example, modified polybutadiene (Nisseki.
M-1000-80 and methacrylated polybutadiene). As the modified silicone oil, polydimethylsiloxane having an OH group at one end, for example, modified silicone oil (Nippon Unicar FZ-3122)
And the like.

The function of the lubricating rubber composition of the present invention is that the functional group (OH group) of silicone oil having excellent lubricity and the carboxyl group (-COOH) of acrylate-modified polybutadiene are excellent.
Further, since polybutadiene acts as a crosslinking aid for peroxide vulcanization of the diene rubber, the polybutadiene bonded to the silicone oil is incorporated into the diene network structure and is complicatedly and strongly entangled. As a result, without breaking the basic structure of the rubber elastic body, the mechanical strength,
It is possible to obtain a molded product which is stable in a state of low friction coefficient and has excellent wear resistance for a long period of time while almost maintaining heat resistance.

[Table 1] The formulations shown in Table 1 were thoroughly mixed using an open roll, and then heated and pressed by a press at 180 ° C. for 5 minutes to obtain a rubber vulcanizate having a plate thickness of 2 mm. About this molded body J
Tensile strength, elongation and hardness were measured according to ISK6301. The friction coefficient was measured by applying a ring-on-disk type tester, and the contact area of the test piece was 0.72.
It was carried out at 5 cm 2 , a load of 1 kg, and a rotation speed of 10 rpm.
As shown in Table 1, as compared with Comparative Example (1), the friction coefficient is reduced to about 1/2 by changing the crosslinking aid from triallyl isocyanurate to polybutadiene. Furthermore, it can be seen that the addition of the modified silicone oil further reduces the amount to 1/2. Further, it can be seen that the physical properties are the same as in Comparative Example (1).

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, the lubricating rubber composition of the present invention has excellent lubricity in addition to the excellent sealing properties of the diene rubber elastic body and good followability to deformation. Therefore, the stability and reliability against sliding for a long time is extremely high, and therefore it can be widely used as parts in all fields such as automobiles and general industrial machinery.
