- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.金属コーティングを有する溶接金属管を、連続的に移動する比較的平坦な金 属ストリップから以下の順序で製造する方法であって、 a)前記金属ストリップの少なくとも一方の面に金属コーティングを加える工 程と、前記コーティングが亜鉛、アルミニウム及びこれらの合金からなるグルー プから選択されることと、 b)前記ストリップを互いに対向し、隣接し、かつ離間する複数の側縁を有す る管状ストリップに形成する工程と、 c)溶接継目を有する管を形成すべく前記ストリップの互いに隣接する複数の 側縁を加熱し、かつ一体的に互いに溶接し、さらには前記継目を管の下側部分へ 配置する工程と、 d)前記管の少なくとも下側部分を前記金属コーティングの溶融温度まで再加 熱し、これにより同金属コーティングが継目上を下方へ向けて流動し、同継目を 被覆する工程と を含む方法。 2.前記ストリップを中央部分から側縁へ向かうにつれて厚さが増加する金属コ ーティングで被覆する工程を含む請求項1に記載のコーティングが施された溶接 管を製造する方法。 3.前記管の複数の側縁を互いに溶接し、前記管を非酸化性雰囲気中で再加熱す ることを含む請求項1に記載のコーティングが施された溶接管を製造する方法。 4.前記管状ストリップの複数の側縁を加熱し、かつ互いに溶接し、さらには前 記管をエンクロージャ内で再加熱することと、加圧された不活性ガスをエンクロ ージャ内に連続的に案内して前記非酸化性雰囲気を維持することを含む請求項3 に記載のコーティングが施された溶接管を製造する方法。 5.前記管を再加熱後に冷却することを含む請求項4に記載のコーティングが施 された溶接管を製造する方法。 6.保護金属コーティングを有する溶接金属管を、連続する金属ストリップから 以下の順序で形成する方法であって、 a)前記ストリップの少なくとも一方の面に保護金属コーティングを加える工 程と、前記金属コーティングがストリップの溶融温度より実質的に低い溶融温度 を有することと、 b)前記ストリップの複数の側縁上に位置する金属コーティングを除去し、さ らには各側縁に隣接するストリップの一方の面に凹面を形成することによりスト リップの側縁を調節する工程と、 c)前記ストリップを環状をなすオープン・シーム管に形成する工程と、前記 オープン・シーム管が凹面を自身の内面上に有し、前記複数の側縁がオープン・ シーム管の下側部分において互いにほぼ当接することと、 d)前記管の下側部分において継目を形成すべく、前記側縁付近においてオー プン・シーム管を前記金属コーティングの溶融温度より高い温度まで加熱し、前 記互いにほぼ当接する複数の側縁を一体的に溶接し、これにより前記金属コーテ ィングが溶融し、かつ下方へ向かって前記凹面内に流動して継目を被覆する工程 と を含む方法。 7.前記ストリップのローリング及び成形を実施する前に、側縁に隣接するスト リップの互いに対向する面から金属コーティングを除去することを含む請求項6 に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。 8.前記側縁に位置するストリップの一方の面に面取りされた傾斜する端縁を形 成し、前記面取りされた端縁が前記凹面を形成し、次いで前記ストリップをロー リング及び成形することによりほぼ環状の管を形成し、前記ほぼ環状の管が自身 の下側部分に互いにほぼ当接する側縁を有し、前記面取りされた面が前記側縁に おいて内側へ傾斜する面を形成し、さらには管の下側部分に溶接継目を有する管 を形成すべくストリップの側縁を加熱し、かつ一体的に互いに溶接し、これによ り前記面取りされた端縁が継目において内側へ傾斜する面を形成するとともに、 前記金属コーティングが溶融し、さらには傾斜面上を下方へ向かって継目上へ流 動する請求項6に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。 9.前記ストリップの互いにほぼ当接する側縁を溶接した後で、前記管の少なく とも下側部分を金属コーティング溶融温度まで再加熱し、次いで前記金属コーテ ィングが溶融し、さらには内側へ傾斜する面の上を下方へ向かって流動し、さら には継目を被覆することを含む請求項8に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。 10.前記凹面を区画すべくストリップの一方の面に側縁を貫いて開口するほぼ 矩形をなす凹面を形成し、次いでストリップをローリング及び成形することによ り環状の管を形成し、前記環状の管が自身の下側部分に互いにほぼ当接する側縁 を有し、前記ほぼ矩形をなす凹面がオープン・シーム管の下側部分に矩形ウェル を形成及び区画し、次いで溶接継目を有する管を形成すべくストリップの互いに 隣接する側縁を加熱し、さらには一体的に互いに溶接し、そして管の少なくとも 下側部分を金属コーティングの溶融温度まで再加熱し、これにより前記金属コー ティングが溶融し、さらには下方へ向かって凹状ウェル内へ流動して継目を被覆 する請求項6に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。 11.保護金属コーティングを有する溶接金属管を、連続する金属ストリップか ら以下の順序で製造する方法であって、 a)前記ストリップの少なくとも一方の面に保護金属コーティングを加える工 程と、前記金属コーティングがストリップの溶融温度より実質的に低い溶融温度 を有することと、 b)前記ストリップの複数の側縁上に位置する金属コーティングを除去し、さ らには各側縁に隣接するストリップの一方の面に凹面を形成することによりスト リップの側縁を調節する工程と、 c)前記ストリップをローリングし、かつ成形して環状のオープン・シーム管 を形成し、同オープン・シーム管が自身の内面上に凹面を有し、前記複数の側縁 がオープン・シーム管の下側部分において互いにほぼ当接することと、 d)前記管の下側部分において継目を形成すべく、前記側縁付近においてオー プン・シーム管を前記金属コーティングの溶融温度より高い温度まで加熱し、前 記ほぼ当接する複数の側縁を一体的に溶接し、これにより前記金属コーティング が溶融し、かつ下方へ向かって前記凹面内に流動して継目を被覆する工程と を含む方法。 12.前記ストリップをローリング及び成形する前に側縁に隣接するストリップ の互いに対向する面の金属コーティングを除去することを含む請求項11に記載 の溶接金属管をコーティングする方法。 13.前記側縁に位置するストリップの一方の面に面取りされた傾斜する端縁を 形成し、次いで前記ストリップをローリング及び成形することによりほぼ環状の 管を形成し、前記ほぼ環状の管が自身の下側部分に互いにほぼ当接する複数の側 縁を有し、前記面取りされた傾斜面がオープン・シーム管のほぼ当接する側縁に おいて互いに対向し、かつ内側へ傾斜する面を形成し、そして前記側縁付近にお いてオープン・シーム管を加熱し、さらに側縁を互いに溶接し、次いで前記金属 コーティングが溶融し、さらには互いに対向し、かつ内側へ向かって傾斜する向 上を下方へ向かって流動し、さらには継目を被覆する請求項12に記載の溶接金 属管を製造する方法。 14.前記側縁の溶接後に前記管の少なくとも下側部分を金属コーティング溶融 温度を上回る温度まで再加熱し、次いで金属コーティングが溶融し、さらには互 いに対向し、かつ傾斜する面上を下方へ向けて流動して継目を被覆する請求項1 3に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。 15.前記ストリップの一方の面にほぼ矩形をなす凹面を形成し、同凹面が側縁 を貫いて開口し、前記凹面が溶接後に継目の両側にほぼ矩形をなすウェルを形成 し、前記溶融した金属コーティングが下方へ向かってほぼ矩形をなすウェル内へ 流動して継目を被覆する請求項11に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。 16.溶接後に管の少なくとも下側部分を金属コーティングの溶融温度まで再加 熱し、次いで前記金属コーティングが溶融し、さらには下方へ向かってほぼ矩形 をなすウェル内へ流動して管を被覆する請求項15に記載の溶接金属管を製造す る方法。 17.金属コーティングを有する溶接金属管を連続する金属ストリップから以下 の順序で製造する方法であって、 a)前記ストリップを溶融金属中に浸漬することにより前記ストリップの少な くとも一方の面に保護金属コーティングを加える工程と、前記金属コーティング がストリップの溶融温度より実質的に低い溶融温度を有することと、 b)前記ストリップの複数の側縁及び同側縁に隣接するストリップの互いに対 向する面から金属コーティングを除去し、さらには各側縁においてストリップの 一方の面に凹面を形成する工程と、 c)前記ストリップをローリングし、かつ成形して環状のオープン・シーム管 を形成する工程と、前記オープン・シーム管が自身の内面上に凹面を有し、前記 側縁が互いにほぼ当接し、前記凹面が開放された凹面を各側縁に形成することと 、 d)溶接継目を有する管を形成すべくストリップの側縁を加熱し、さらには一 体的に互いに溶接し、前記継目を管の下側部分へ配置する工程と、前記開放凹面 が継目の両側に位置することと、 e)前記管の少なくとも下側部分を金属コーティングの溶融温度まで再加熱す る上程と、これにより金属コーティングが溶融し、さらには下方に向かって開放 凹面内に流動して継目を被覆することと を含む方法。 18.前記各側縁においてストリップの一方の面に面取りした傾斜面を形成し、 次いでストリップをローリングし、かつ成形してほぼ環状の管を形成し、同管が 自身の下側部分に互いにほぼ当接する側縁を有し、溶接後に前記面取りした面が 互いに対向し、かつ内側へ向かって傾斜する面を継目の両側にそれぞれ形成する ことを含む請求項17に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。 19.ストリップの一方の面に各側縁を貫いて開口するほぼ矩形をなす凹面をそ れぞれ形成し、前記ほぼ矩形をなす面が溶接後に継目の両側にほぼ矩形をなすウ ェルを形成し、管の少なくとも下側部分を再加熱し、これにより金属コーティン グが下方へ向かってほぼ矩形をなすウェル内へ流動して継目を被覆することを含 む請求項17に記載の溶接金属管を製造する方法。
