Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 燃焼室、ブースト室及びピストンを含むエンジンブロックを有し、ピスト ンは前記エンジンブロック内でピボット軸線を中心に揺動する内燃機関において 、 前記ピストンは、第一円弧状密封面及び該第一円弧状密封面から半径方向 にずらされた第二円弧状密封面を有し、前記両密封面は、前記ピボット軸線を中 心の円周方向の経路を描き、前記ピストンは、前記第一円弧状密封面と前記第二 円弧状密封面との間に実質的に半径方向に延びる床部を含み、 前記燃焼室は、4つの壁を有し、前記壁のうちの2つは対向し、かつ対向 する側を形成し、ピストンの対応する側が該対向する壁を密封し、 燃焼室の前記第三の壁は、円弧の形態のもので、前記ピボット軸線から円 周経路を描き、ピストンの前記第一円弧状密封面が前記第三の壁を密封し、 燃焼室の前記第四の壁は、前記ピストンの前記第二円弧状密封面によって 形成され、 ピストンの前記第二円弧状密封面は、燃焼室をブースト室から密封する、 内燃機関。 2. 吸気移送口及び排気口は燃焼室の壁に形成され、前記吸気移送口は、移送 ダクトを経て、前記ピストンの下の吸気室と連通し、前記吸気室に燃料/空気混 合物を満たす手段が提供され、前記排気口は、排出部と連通する、請求の範囲1 に記載の内燃機関。 3. 前記吸気移送口が前記ピストンによって開けられると、前記ピストンの下 にある吸気室は、第一移送ダクトを経由して、燃焼室に連通する、請求の範囲2 に記載の内燃機関。 4. 排気口が前記ピストンによって開けられると、燃焼室の壁の排気口は、燃 焼室と連通する、請求の範囲2に記載の内燃機関。 5. ピストンが燃焼室内で所定の位置に揺動すると、第二移送ダクトが、前記 吸気室を燃焼室と連通させるように、ピストン内に形成される、請求の範囲3の 内燃機関。 6. 前記第一円弧状密封面は、燃焼室の円弧上の壁を密封するようになってい る密封手段を受ける密封用溝を含む、請求の範囲1に記載の内燃機関。 7. ブースト室は、ピストンの前記第二円弧状密封面を密封する手段を有する 壁を含む、請求の範囲1に記載の内燃機関。 8. 燃焼室、ブースト室及びピストンを含むエンジンブロックを有し、ピスト ンは前記エンジンブロック内でピボット軸線を中心に揺動する内燃機関において 、 前記ピストンは、第一円弧状密封面及び該第一円弧状密封面から半径方向 にずらされた第二円弧状密封面を有し、前記両密封面は、前記ピボット軸線を中 心の円周経路を描き、前記ピストンは、前記第一円弧状密封面と前記第二円弧状 密封面との間に実質的に半径方向に延びる床部を含み、 前記燃焼室は、4つの壁を有し、前記壁の内の2つは対向し、かつ対向す る側を形成し、ピストンの対応する側が前記対向する壁を密封し、 燃焼室の前記第三の壁は、円弧の形態のもので、前記ピボット軸線から円 周経路を描き、ピストンの前記第一円弧状密封面が前記第三の壁を密封し、 燃焼室の前記第四の壁は、前記ピストンの前記第二円弧状密封面によって 形成され、 ピストンの前記第二円弧状密封面は、燃焼室をブースト室から密封し、第 一移送ダクトは、燃焼室の壁の口を通じて、前記ピストンの下にある吸気室を燃 焼室と連通させ、空気/燃料吸入を吸気室から燃焼室へ通すために、ピストンが 燃焼室内の所定の位置に達したとき、前記口はピストンによって開けられ、 ピストンが燃焼室内の所定の位置に達したとき、燃焼室の前記壁の排気口 は、ピストンによって開けられるようになっていて、それにより、燃焼ガスが燃 焼室から排出される、内燃機関。 9. 前記ブースト室は、前記ピボット軸線から円周経路を描く円弧上の壁を含 み、前記壁は、前記ピストンの前記第二円弧状密封面を密封するようになってい る手段を含む、請求の範囲1に記載の内燃機関。 10. ポペットバルブ装置によって、燃料/空気混合物を前記燃焼室に移送す るようになっている吸込口を含む、請求の範囲1に記載の内燃機関。 11. ポペットバルブ装置によって、排気口を通り、燃焼室に連通する排出部 を含む、請求の範囲1に記載の内燃機関。 12. 前記ブースト室は、エンジンブロック内で前記ピストンの下にある燃焼 室と連通する吸込口に、ダクトを通して連結されている、請求の範囲1に記載内 燃機関。 13. リードバルブが、前記吸込口と吸気室との間の連通を制御する、請求の 範囲12に記載の内燃機関。
