Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.4mmの基準厚さにおいて、少なくとも70%の可視光透過率を有し、前記 可視光透過率より少なくとも12%低い直射太陽熱エネルギー透過率を有し、主 波長が560nm以下で、かつ色純度が6%以下の、中間的色調のIR及びUV 吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラスであって、 Fe2O3の量として換算された総量が約0.3乃至0.7重量%の鉄分と、 約0.5乃至10重量ppm(約0.00005乃至0.001重量%)のS eと、 約3乃至25重量ppmのCo3O4と、 0乃至50重量ppmのNiOと、 0乃至1.5重量%のTiO2とを主たる成分として含み、 かつ、第一鉄の量の前記(Fe2O3の量として換算される)鉄分の総量に対す る換算比率が21乃至34%の範囲内であることを特徴とするIR及びUV吸収 性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 2.前記直射太陽熱エネルギー透過率が、前記可視光透過率より少なくとも15 パーセント低いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のIR及びUV吸収性ソーダ石 灰シリカガラス。 3.55%未満の紫外線透過率を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のIR 及びUV吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 4.前記紫外線透過率が50%未満であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のI R及びUV吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 5.4mmの基準厚さにおいて、少なくとも70%の可視光透過率を有し、前記 可視光透過率より少なくとも15%低い直射太陽熱エネルギー透過率を有し、主 波長が560nm以下で、かつ色純度が6%以下の、中間的色調のIR及びUV 吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラスであって、 Fe2O3の量として換算された総量が約0.45乃至0.65重量%の鉄分と 、 約1乃至5重量ppm(約0.0001乃至0.0005重量%)のSeと、 約8乃至20重量ppmのCo3O4と、 0乃至350重量ppmのNiOと、 0乃至1重量%のTiO2とを主たる成分として含み、 かつ、第一鉄の量の前記(Fe2O3の量として換算される)鉄分の総量に対す る換算比率が25乃至31%の範囲内であることを特徴とするIR及びUV吸収 性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 6.前記直射太陽熱エネルギー透過率が、前記可視光透過率より少なくとも20 パーセント低いことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のIR及びUV吸収性ソーダ石 灰シリカガラス。 7.前記色純度が5%以下であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のIR及びU V吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 8.前記色純度が3%以下であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のIR及びU V吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 9.55%未満の紫外線透過率を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のIR 及びUV吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 10.前記紫外線透過率が50%未満であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の IR及びUV吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 11.4mmの基準厚さにおいて、少なくとも70%の可視光透過率を有し、前 記可視光透過率より少なくとも12%低い直射太陽熱エネルギー透過率を有し、 主波長が560nm以下で、かつ色純度が6%以下の、中間的色調のIR及びU V吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラスであって、 ベースガラス組成物と、 着色剤と、 所望に応じて微量の溶融、精製補助成分とを有することを特徴とし、 前記ベースガラス組成物が、重量%を単位として SiO2 65〜80 Na2O 10〜20 CaO 5〜15 MgO 0〜5 Al2O3 0〜5 K2O 0〜5 BaO 0〜5 B203 0〜5 なる成分を含むことを特徴とし、 前記着色剤が、 Fe2O3の量として換算された総量が約0.3乃至0.7重量%の鉄分と、 約0.5乃至10重量ppm(約0.00005乃至0.001重量%)の Seと、 約3乃至25重量ppmのCo3O4と、 0乃至50重量ppmのNiOと、 0乃至1.5重量%のTiO2とを主たる成分として含み、 かつ、第一鉄の量の前記(Fe2O3の量として換算される)鉄分の総量に対す る換算比率が21乃至34%の範囲内であることを特徴とするIR及びUV吸収 性ソーダ石灰シリカガラス。 12.鉄及びコバルトの酸化物を含み、第一鉄の量の前記(Fe2O3の量として 換算される)鉄分の総量に対する換算比率が21乃至34%の範囲内である、中 間的色調のIR及びUV吸収性ソーダ石灰シリカガラ スの製造方法であって、 砂、ソーダ灰、ドロマイト、石灰石、及びぼう硝及び石膏何れかの硫酸塩を含 む、ソーダ石灰シリカフロートガラスのガラスバッチ混合物を混和する過程と、 前記ガラスバッチ混合物を加熱する過程と、 前記ガラスバッチ混合物を溶融する過程とを有し、 前記ガラスバッチが、製造されるガラスに含まれる酸化鉄の少なくとも一部の 原料となるウスタイトを含むことを特徴とするIR及びUV吸収性ソーダ石灰シ リカガラスの製造方法。
