Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.体内にステントを導入し且つ移植するためのカテーテル装置において、 カテーテル部材を有し、該カテーテル部材は第1及び第2端部を備え、第1 端部は膨張可能部分を備え、カテーテル部材は更に管孔を備え、該管孔は前記膨 張可能部分及び第2端部と流体連通して、前記膨張可能部分を膨張させる手段を 構成し、 拡張されると永久変形される拡張可能なステント部材を有し、該ステント部 材の少なくとも一部が結合部により前記膨張可能部分に取り付けられており、そ れによって、膨張可能部分を膨張させると、前記結合部がステント部材から解放 されて、ステント部材の配備及びカテーテル部材の取外しが可能になることを特 徴とするカテーテル装置。 2.前記結合部が接着剤であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のカテ ーテル装置。 3.前記結合部が前記膨張可能部分から形成されることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第1項に記載のカテーテル装置。 4.前記結合部が前記膨張可能部分と同じ材料からなることを特徴とする請求の 範囲第1項に記載のカテーテル装置。 5.前記ステント部材は、その少なくとも一部が前記膨張可能部分内に押し込ま れて、前記結合部を形成することを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載のカテー テル装置。 6.前記ステント部材は、前記膨張可能部分の壁厚の約1/20〜1/2の深さ まで前記膨張可能部分内に押し込まれることを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項に記 載のカテーテル装置。 7.前記ステント部材は、ワイヤ又は孔が設けられた拡張可能な管状部材で形成 されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のカテーテル装置。 8.前記膨張可能部分が熱可塑性エラストマからなることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第1項に記載のカテーテル装置。 9.前記熱可塑性エラストマがポリウレタンであることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第8項に記載のカテーテル装置。 10.前記カテーテル部材が非エラストマ熱可塑性材料から形成されることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第9項に記載のカテーテル装置。 11.前記非熱可塑性材料が、ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート及びこ れらの混合物からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項に 記載のカテーテル装置。 12.前記膨張可能部分は、エラストマ材料内に包囲された非エラストマ材料で形 成されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項に記載のカテーテル装置。 13.前記接着剤は、前記膨張可能部分が拡張したときに前記結合部が前記膨張可 能部分から分離することがないように、前記膨張可能部分の弾性係数とほぼ同じ 弾性係数を有し、且つ膨張したときに結合部がステント部材から分離するように 、前記ステント部材の弾性係数より充分小さい弾性係数を有することを特徴とす る請求の範囲第2項に記載のカテーテル装置。 14.前記接着剤がポリウレタンであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第13項に記 載の接合部。 15.ステント部材を導入し且つ移植するためのカテーテル装置の製造方法におい て、 (i)カテーテル部材の膨張可能部分の周囲に拡張可能で永久変形可能な管 状ステント部材を配置する工程と、 (ii)前記膨張可能部分の表面を軟化させる工程と、 (iii)軟化した表面がその元の非軟化状態に戻り、前記ステント部材に結 合できるようにする工程とを有することを特徴とする方法。 16.前記軟化が加熱により行なわれることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記 載の方法。 17.前記軟化が溶剤の付着により達成されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15 項に記載の方法。 18.前記押し込みが、前記カテーテル装置を加熱された固定治具内に導入するこ とにより達成されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記載の方法。 19.前記加熱された固定治具が約50〜250℃の間に維持されることを特徴と する請求の範囲第17項に記載の方法。 20.前記押し込みにより、前記ステント部材が、前記膨張可能部分の壁厚の約1 /20から1/2の深さまで埋入されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に 記載の方法。 21.ステントを導入し且つ移植するためのカテーテル装置の製造方法において、 (i)カテーテル部材の膨張可能部分の周囲に拡張可能で永久変形可能な管 状ステントを配置する工程と、 (ii)前記ステントと前記膨張可能部分との間の少なくとも接触点に接着剤 結合部を形成する工程とを有し、該結合部は、ステントの弾性係数より充分小さ く且つ膨張可能部分の弾性係数とほぼ同じ大きさの弾性係数を有し、前記膨張可 能部分が拡張すると、前記結合部がステントから解放されるけれども膨張可能部 分からは解放されないことを特徴とする方法。 22.前記結合部形成工程が更に、 前記ステントとの接触点で前記膨張可能部分の表面を軟化して、前記ステン トと前記膨張可能部分とを結合する工程を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 21項に記載の方法。 23.前記結合部形成工程が更に、 前記ステントとの接触点で前記膨張可能部分に接着剤を付着する工程を有す ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第21項に記載の方法。 24.前記接着剤付着工程が更に、 前記膨張可能部分の弾性係数と実質的に同じ弾性係数をもつ接着剤を用意す る工程を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第23項に記載の方法。
