Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ガス・タービン・エンジンのエアフォイルであって、 前記ガス・タービン・エンジンは、長手軸に沿って配置された流路と、互いに 軸方向隣接して設けられた複数のエアフォイル・アッセンブリと、をそれぞれ有 し、 前記エアフォイルは、空力部位と、プラットフォームと、シールと、設置状態 において前記流路を通じてのびる空力部位と、シールランドと、一体化された熱 シールドを有し、 前記プラットフォームは、設置状態において前記流路に対向するフロー面を有 し、 前記シールランドは、前記プラットフォームにそってのびて前記シールの装着 面を提供し、 前記シールは、設置状態において軸方向に隣接するエアフォイル・アッセンブ リの延長部に近接するように設けられ、このように近接して設けることで前記シ ールと前記延長部との間の流体の流れがブロックされ、 さらに、前記シールは、前記空力部位と反対側に向いている外表面を有し、前 記熱シールドが前記プラットフォームからのびてこの外表面の少なくとも一部を 覆っており、 前記熱シールドは、設置状態において、前記流路からの流体と前記シールの外 表面との間の接触をブロックすることを特徴とするエアフォイル。 2.前記エアフォイルは、タービン・ベーンであり、前記隣接するエアフォイ ル・アッセンブリは、延長部が設けられたロータ・アッセンブリであることを特 徴とする請求項1記載のエアフォイル。 3.前記シールは、フォイル材から形成された外表面を有するタイプのハニカ ム・シールであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエアフォイル。 4.隣接するエアフォイル・アッセンブリの方向にのびる突出部を更に有し、 この突出部は、ガス・タービン・エンジンの動作時において、隣接するエアフォ イル・アッセンブリのエッジに隣接してチョーク・ポイントを生成し、このチョ ーク・ポイントは、隣接するエアフォイル・アッセンブリとエアフォイルとの間 で流体が流れにくくなるよう作用し、 これにより、前記隣接するエアフォイル・アッセンブリと前記エアフォイルと の間の軸方向の分離が生じ、一方で、前記チョーク・ポイントと、前記延長部と 前記シール・ランドとの間の接触点と、の間の径方向の分離が生じ、これらの軸 方向及び径方向の分離によってキャビティが形成され、 前記熱シールドは、前記キャビティ内の流体と前記シールの外表面との接触を ブロックすることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエアフォイル。 5.前記シールは、フォイル材から形成される外表面を有するタイプのハニカ ム・シールで、前記エアフォイルはタービン・ベーンであり、かつ、前記隣接す るエアフォイル・アッセンブリは、延長部が設けられたロータ・アッセンブリで あって、ガス・タービン・エンジンの動作時には流体の再循環ゾーンが前記キャ ビティ内に生成されるようになっており、かつ、ガス・タービン・エンジンの動 作時には、前記熱シールドによって、前記外表面のフォイル材と前記再循環ゾー ン内の流体とが連続して接触することがブロックされることを特徴とする請求項 5記載のエアフォイル。
