Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.p−キシレンに富むフィードからp−キシレンを回収する単一温度晶析方 法であって、 約−28.9℃〜約10℃(約−20°F〜約50°F)の範囲の温度におい て単一の温度の晶析段階にp−キシレンに富む該フィードを接触させる工程、 該単一の温度の晶析段階からp−キシレンの結晶を含んで成るスラリーを取り 出す工程、 該スラリーを分離手段に送ってケーキを形成し、該ケーキをp−キシレンによ り洗浄する工程、 該ケーキをメルトドラムに送ってp−キシレン生成物を生成し、該p−キシレ ン生成物を取り出す工程、 該分離手段からの不要濾液の一部分を該単一の温度の晶析段階にリサイクルす る工程、および 残りの不要濾液を母液生成物として取り出す工程 を含んで成る方法。 2.該単一の温度の晶析段階は、約−6.7℃〜約4.4℃(約20°F〜約4 0°F)の範囲の温度において操作される請求の範囲1記載の方法。 3.p−キシレンに富む該フィードは、少なくとも約97重量%のp−キシレ ンを含んで成る請求の範囲1記載の方法。 4.取り出されたp−キシレン生成物は、少なくとも約99.5重量%のp− キシレン生成物純度を有する請求の範囲1記載の方法。 5.取り出されたp−キシレン生成物は、少なくとも約99.8重量%のp− キシレン生成物純度を有する請求の範囲1記載の方法。 6.該メルトドラムからリサイクルされるp−キシレン生成物により該ケーキ を洗浄する請求の範囲1記載の方法。 7.該分離手段は遠心分離機を有して成る請求の範囲1記載の方法。 8.該フィードは、シリカ変性触媒を使用するトルエンの不均化の生成物であ る請求の範囲1記載の方法。 9.シリカ変性触媒は、少なくとも2つ外部選択性化シーケンスにさらすこと により変性されている請求の範囲8記載の方法。 10.外部選択性化シーケンスは、有機または水性キャリヤーにおいて触媒を 選択性化剤と接触させる工程および引き続いて触媒モレキュラーシーブを焼成す る工程を含む請求の範囲9記載の方法。 11.該フィードのp−キシレンの80%以上を回収する請求の範囲1記載の 方法。 12.該フィードのp−キシレンの90%以上を回収する請求の範囲1記載の 方法。 13.該単一の温度の晶析段階は、約137.9kPa〜約206.8kPa( 約20psia〜約30psia)の範囲の圧力において操作される請求の範囲 1記載の方法。
