Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.熱ラジカル重合性混合物によりコーティングされたキャリヤーウェブを、 少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する熱伝達プロセスを構成する熱緩衝 器に前記混合物の接着剤への転化を起こすのに十分な時間接触させることを含ん でなる接着剤を製造する方法。 2.ラジカル重合性接着剤組成物によりコーティングされたキャリヤーウェブ を熱緩衝器に接触させることにより前記キャリヤーウェブの温度を熱緩衝器の温 度の20℃以内に保つことを含んでなるラジカル重合可能な接着剤組成物を熱重 合させる方法であって、前記熱緩衝器が少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を 有する熱伝達プロセスを構成する方法。 3.熱媒体として水を使用する、請求項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の方法 。 4.前記熱伝達プロセスが、ポリプロピレングリコール、水とプロピレングリ コールの混合物、過フッ素化された炭化水素液体、水中に溶けた無機塩の緩衝化 された酸性混合物、水中に溶けた有機塩の緩衝化された酸性混合物、凝縮スチー ム、ヘリウム及び水素からなる群より選ばれる熱媒体を使用する、請求項1又は 2のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 5.熱ラジカル重合性混合物がアクリル酸と1〜14個の炭素原子を有するアル コールとの少なくとも1種のエステルを含む、請求項1又は2のいずれか1項に 記載の方法。 6.熱ラジカル重合性混合物が、メチルアクリレート、エチルアクリレート、 n−ブチルアクリレート、t−ブチルアクリレート、ヘキシルアクリレート、イ ソオクチルアクリレート、2−エチルヘ キシルアクリレート、イソノニルアクリレート、イソボルニルアクリレート、フ ェノキシエチルアクリレート、デシルアクリレート及びドデシルアクリレートか らなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種のアクリル酸エステルを含んでなる、請求 項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 7.熱伝達プロセスが少なくとも100W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する、請求 項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 8.熱伝達プロセスが少なくとも500W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する、請求 項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 9.感圧接着剤を製造する方法であって、 (1)キャリヤーウェブの少なくとも1つの主表面上に、実質的に無溶剤の熱重 合性混合物をコーティングする工程であって、(a)前記重合性混合物が少なくと も1種のラジカル重合性モノマー及び少なくとも1種の触媒的に有効な量の熱開 始剤を含み、且つ、(b)前記重合性混合物の粘度がキャリヤーウェブをコーティ ングするのに適する粘度である工程; (2)キャリヤーウェブを、少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する熱伝達 プロセスを構成する熱緩衝器に接触させる工程であって、前記熱緩衝器が重合性 混合物の熱重合を開始するのに十分な所定の温度に保たれる工程; (3)コーティングされたキャリヤーウェブを、熱緩衝器に重合性混合物の接着 剤への転化を起こすのに十分な時間接触させる工程; 次いで (4)熱緩衝器からコーティングされたキャリヤーウェブを取出す工程; の各工程を含んでなる方法。 10.工程(2)及び工程(3)の間に熱重合性混合物から酸素を除去 する工程を更に含む請求項9記載の方法。 11.熱ラジカル重合性混合物がアクリル酸と1〜14個の炭素原子を有するア ルコールとの少なくとも1種のエステルを含んでなる、請求項9記載の方法。 12.熱ラジカル重合性混合物が、メチルアクリレート、エチルアクリレート、 n−ブチルアクリレート、t−ブチルアクリレート、ヘキシルアクリレート、イ ソオクチルアクリレート、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート、イソノニルアクリ レート、イソボルニルアクリレート、フェノキシエチルアクリレート、デシルア クリレート及びドデシルアクリレートからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の アクリル酸エステルを含んでなる、請求項9記載の方法。 13.重合性混合物中に少なくとも1種の共重合性コモノマーが更に含まれる、 請求項9記載の方法。 14.感圧接着剤を製造する方法であって、 (1)少なくとも1種の熱ラジカル重合性モノマー及び熱開始剤の少なくとも1 成分を含む少なくとも1種の混合物を調製する工程; (2)前記混合物の粘度を塗布するのに適する値に調節する工程; (3)混合物を脱気する工程; (4)脱気された混合物を少なくとも1つの支持体上に塗布する工程; (5)コーティングされた支持体を、少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有す る熱伝達プロセスを構成する熱緩衝器に接触させる工程であって、前記熱緩衝器 が熱重合を開始するのに十分な所定の温度に加熱されている工程; (6)コーティングされた支持体を熱緩衝器に混合物の転化を起こすのに十分な 時間接触させる工程;次いで (7)熱緩衝器からコーティングされた支持体を取出す工程; の各工程を含んでなる方法。 15.感圧接着剤を製造する方法であって、 (1)少なくとも1種の熱ラジカル重合性モノマーを含む少なくとも1種の混合 物を調製する工程; (2)混合物の粘度を塗布するのに適する値に調節する工 程; (3)熱開始剤の少なくとも1成分を混合物に混合する工程; (4)混合物を脱気する工程; (5)脱気された混合物を少なくとも1つの支持体上に塗布する工程; (6)コーティングされた支持体を、少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有す る熱伝達プロセスを構成する熱緩衝器に接触させる工程であって、前記熱緩衝器 が熱重合を開始するのに十分な所定の温度に加熱されている工程; (7)コーティングされた支持体を熱緩衝器に混合物の転化を起こすのに十分な 時間接触させる工程;次いで (8)熱緩衝器からコーティングされた支持体を取出す工程; の各工程を含んでなる方法。 16.感圧接着剤を製造する方法であって、 (1)少なくとも1種の熱ラジカル重合性モノマー及び熱開始剤の少なくとも1 成分を含む少なくとも1種の混合物を調製する工程; (2)前記混合物の粘度を塗布するのに適する値に調節する工程; (3)混合物を脱気する工程; (4)脱気された混合物を第1支持体と第2支持体の間に塗布し、サンドイッチ を形成する工程; (5)前記サンドイッチを、少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する熱伝達 プロセスを構成する熱緩衝器に接触させる工程であって、前記熱緩衝器が熱重合 を開始するのに十分な所定の温度に加 熱されている工程; (6)前記サンドイッチを熱緩衝器に混合物の転化を起こすのに十分な時間接触 させる工程;次いで (7)熱緩衝器からサンドイッチを取出す工程; の各工程を含んでなる方法。 17.感圧接着剤を製造する方法であって、 (1)少なくとも1種の熱ラジカル重合性モノマーを含む少なくとも1種の混合 物を調製する工程; (2)混合物の粘度を塗布するのに適する値に調節する工程; (3)熱開始剤の少なくとも1成分を混合物に混合する工程; (4)混合物を脱気する工程; (5)脱気された混合物を第1支持体と第2支持体の間に塗布し、サンドイッチ を形成する工程; (6)前記サンドイッチを、少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する熱伝達 プロセスを構成する熱緩衝器に接触させる工程であって、前記熱緩衝器が熱重合 を開始するのに十分な所定の温度に加熱されている工程; (7)前記サンドイッチを熱緩衝器に混合物の転化を起こすのに十分な時間接触 させる工程;次いで (8)熱緩衝器からサンドイッチを取出す工程; の各工程を含んでなる方法。 18.感圧接着剤を製造する方法であって、 (1)少なくとも1種の熱ラジカル重合性モノマー及び熱開始剤の少なくとも1 成分を含む少なくとも1種の混合物を調製する工程; (2)混合物の粘度を塗布するのに適する値に調節する工程; (3)混合物を脱気する工程; (4)積層品を調製する工程であって、 (a)脱気された混合物を第1支持体と第2支持体の間に塗布し、サンドイッチ を形成する工程; (b)前記工程(a)を繰返し、脱気された混合物を第2支持体と連続的に隣接する 支持体との間に塗布する工程;次いで (c)追加の支持体を加えると同時に前記工程(a)を繰返し続ける工程; の各工程を含む工程; (5)前記積層品を、少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する熱伝達プロセ スを構成する熱緩衝器に接触させる工程であって、前記熱緩衝器が熱重合を開始 するのに十分な所定の温度に加熱されている工程; (6)前記積層品を熱緩衝器に各層の混合物の転化を起こすのに十分な時間接触 させる工程;次いで (7)熱緩衝器から積層品を取出す工程; の各工程を含んでなる方法。 19.工程(5)において積層品を熱緩衝器に接触させる前に、最上部の支持体上 に塗布された脱気された混合物の最終層を更に追加する、請求項18記載の方法。 20.感圧接着剤を製造する方法であって、 (1)少なくとも1種の熱ラジカル重合性モノマーを含む少なくとも1種の混合 物を調製する工程; (2)前記混合物の粘度を塗布するのに適する値に調節する工程; (3)熱開始剤の少なくとも1成分を混合物に混合する工程; (4)混合物を脱気する工程; (5)積層品を調製する工程であって、 (a)脱気された混合物を第1支持体と第2支持体の間に塗布し、サンドイッチ を形成する工程; (b)前記工程(a)を繰返し、脱気された混合物を第2支持体と連続的に隣接する 支持体との間に塗布する工程;次いで (c)追加の支持体を加えると同時に前記工程(a)を繰返し続ける工程; の各工程を含む工程; (6)前記積層品を、少なくとも25W/(m2K)の熱伝達係数を有する熱伝達プロセ スを構成する熱緩衝器に接触させる工程であって、前記熱緩衝器が熱重合を開始 するのに十分な所定の温度に加熱されている工程; (7)前記積層品を熱緩衝器に各層の混合物の転化を起こすのに十分な時間接触 させる工程;次いで (8)熱緩衝器から積層品を取出す工程; の各工程を含んでなる方法。 21.工程(6)において積層品を熱緩衝器に接触させる前に、最上部の支持体上 に塗布された脱気された混合物の最終層を更に含む請求項20記載の方法。 22.少なくとも1層のコーティングされた層が多重層である、請求項9、14 、15、16、17、18又は20のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 23.最小熱伝達係数hminにより特徴付けられる熱交換媒体にラジカル重合性 組成物を熱接触させることによりTminからTmaxの間に温度に保つ工程を含むラ ジカル重合性組成物を熱重合させる方法であって、TmaxはEa/(R ln(A/kdmax ))又は熱媒体の沸点であり、これらのどちらの値が大きくても、Tmin=Ea /(R ln(A/kdmin))、kdmax={kp[M]/Xnkt 1/2}2/ [I] 、kdmin=kt(Rpmin/kp[M])2/[I]、hmin=DRpmaxHp/(Tmax −Tbuf)、Rpmax={kp[ M]/kt 1/2}2/Xnであり、Eaは熱開始剤の活性化エネルギー、Rは気体定 数、Aは開始剤のプレファクター、ktはモノマーの停止速度定数、kpはモノマ ーの成長速度定数、Rpminは最低の望ましい重合速度、[M]はモノマー濃度、 [I]は開始剤濃度、Tbufは熱緩衝器の温度、Xnはポリマー鎖1つ当たりのモ ノマーの望ましい平均数、Dはそれを隔てて温度差Tmax−Tbufが存在する厚さ 、そしてHpは重合熱である方法。 24.最小熱伝達係数hminにより特徴付けられる熱交換媒体にラジカル重合性 組成物を熱接触させることによりTminからTmaxの間に温度に保つ工程を含むラ ジカル重合性組成物を熱重合させる方法であって、TmaxはEa/(R ln(A/kdmax ))又は熱媒体の沸点であり、これらのどちらの値が大きくても、Tmin=Ea /(R ln(A/kdmin))、kdmax={Rpmaxkt 1/2/kp[M]}2/[I] 、kdmin=kt(Rpmin/kp[M])2/[I]、hmin=DRpmaxHp/(Tmax −Tbuf)であり、Rpmaxは最高の望ましい重合速度、Rpminは最低の望ましい 重合速度、Eaは熱開始剤の活性化エネルギー、Rは気体定数、Aは開始剤のプ レファクター、ktはモノマーの停止速度定数、kpはモノマーの成長速度定数、 Rpminは最低の望ましい重合速度、[M]はモノマー濃度、[I]は開始剤濃度 、Tbutは熱緩衝器の温度、Dはそれを隔てて温度差Tmax−Tbufが存在する厚 さ、そしてHpは重合熱である方法。 25.支持体の少なくとも1つの主表面の一部分の上に塗布されたアクリレート 含有接着剤を含む、化学作用のある放射線に対して不透明である不透明テープ。 26.支持体の少なくとも1つの主表面の一部分の上に塗布されたアクリレート 含有接着剤を含む、化学作用のある放射線に対して不 透明である、請求項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の方法により製造される不透 明テープ。
