Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(i)プラスチック表面と、 (a)水素引抜き型(hydrogen abstracting)のUV-開始剤、および (b)1またはそれ以上のアルケン基を有する親水性ポリマー を溶解した液体とを接触させ、ついで (ii)該開始剤を活性化するUV-光で該溶液を放射することを特徴とする、s p3混成炭素原子に結合した水素を有する疎水性ポリマーを含む疎水性プラスチ ック表面の親水性化方法。 2.アルケン基がアリル基(CH2=CH-CH2-)中に含まれることを特徴とす る請求項1記載の方法。 3.エステル基またはアミド基のごときカルボニルがアルケン基に直接結合し ていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 4.疎水性ポリマーが、所望により架橋されていてもよいポリスチレンである ことを特徴とする請求項1-3いずれか1項記載の方法。 5.疎水性ポリマーがポリ塩化ビニルであることを特徴とする請求項1-3い ずれか1項記載の方法。 6.液体が水、または水および水-混和性の有機溶媒の混合液であることを特 徴とする請求項1-5いずれか1項記載の方法。 7.開始剤がベンゾフェノン構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1-6いず れか1項記載の方法。 8.疎水性ポリマーが、OH基、または加水分解を介してOH-基に変換し得 る基(一級エステル)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1-7いずれか1項記載の方 法。 9.液体が主に水を含み;その中の親水性ポリマーが水溶液ポリマーであるこ とを特徴とする請求項1-8いずれか1項記載の方法。 10.開始剤が、例えば、ヒドロキシ基またはイオン性基もしくはイオン化性 基を含む親水性基と結合したベンゾフェノン構造を有することを特徴とする請求 項1-9いずれか1項記載の方法。 11.ポリマーがデキストランのごとき多糖類構造を有することを特徴とする 請求項1-10いずれか1項記載の方法。
