Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 埋め込み可能な医療用人工器官であって、交差領域まで伸長する一連の 細長いストランドによって形成された幾何学的パターンのセルを有する壁構造を 具備する、管状のボディと、 別のストランドの一部の周囲に螺旋状に巻かれた少なくとも1つのストランド の部分によって形成された、インターロックジョイントとを備えることを特徴と する、人工器官。 2. 請求項1の人工器官において、前記ストランドの一部が、互いに螺旋状 に巻かれていることを特徴とする、人工器官。 3. 請求項1の人工器官において、前記インターロックジョイントは、前記 螺旋状に巻かれた部分の軸線が、前記管状のボディに関してほぼ円周方向に配向 されるように、構成されていることを特徴とする、人工器官。 4. 請求項1の人工器官において、前記インターロックジョイントは、当該 人工器官が変化する半径方向の圧縮力を受けた時に、前記ストランドの螺旋状に 巻かれた部分が、相対的に移動し、且つ、前記セル構造を維持するように、構成 されていることを特徴とする、人工器官。 5. 請求項1の人工器官において、前記インターロックジョイントは、前記 ストランドが360°で一回だけ螺旋状に巻かれるように、構成されていること を特徴とする、人工器官。 6. 請求項1の人工器官において、当該人工器官が自己膨張型であることを 特徴とする、人工器官。 7. 請求項1の人工器官において、前記ストランドは、ニッケル/チタン合 金から成る金属ワイヤであることを特徴とする、人工器官。 8. 請求項1の人工器官において、スリーブ型のカバーを更に備えることを 特徴とする、人工器官。 9. 請求項1の人工器官において、胆管系に使用されるように構成され、完 全に膨張した時の直径が、約10mmであり、約9フレンチの直径まで収縮可能 であることを特徴とする、人工器官。 10. 請求項1の人工器官において、膨張の間に塑性変形するように構成され たことを特徴とする、人工器官。 11. 請求項1の人工器官において、温度変化に応答して膨張することができ るように、形状記憶材料から構成されたことを特徴とする、人工器官。 12. 請求項1の人工器官において、前記壁構造によって担持される薬物供給 層を備えることを特徴とする、人工器官。 13. 請求項1の人工器官において、一時的なステントとして構成され、該ス テントの一端部は、引き出し部材に接続され、該引き出し部材は、配備された後 の前記ステントを引き出すことを可能にすることを特徴とする、人工器官。 14. 管状の医療用人工器官を形成するための方法であって、 ステントの直径に実質的に対応するように選択された寸法を有すると共に、半 径方向に伸長するパターンのペグを取り外し可能に収容するようになされた、マ ンドレルを準備する工程と、 弾性を有するワイヤストランドを準備する工程と、 前記人工器官を形成する工程とを備え、該人工器官を形成する工程が、 前記人工器官の一端部に対応する一端部で前記ストランドを固定する工程と、 前記隣接するストランドを隣接する軸方向に隔置されたペグまで引っ張る工程 と、 前記ストランドを接合して、前記ペグが前記ストランドの引っ張られた部分に 張力を維持するようにする工程と、 前記引っ張り及び接合を繰り返して、所望の長さを有する管状部材を形成する 工程と、 前記人工器官を膨張により前記マンドレルから取り除く工程とを含むことを特 徴とする、方法。 15. 請求項14の方法において、 耐熱材料から形成されたマンドレルを準備する工程と、 前記人工器官を前記マンドレルから取り除く前に、熱処理する工程とを備える ことを特徴とする、方法。 16. 請求項15の方法において、 前記人工器官を熱処理した後に、前記人工器官の他端部に相当する前記ストラ ンドの端部を固定する工程を備えることを特徴とする、方法。 17. 請求項14の方法において、 前記ストランドを互いの周囲で螺旋状に巻くことにより、前記ストランドを接 合する工程を備えることを特徴とする、方法。 18. 請求項14の方法において、 前記ペグを、前記マンドレルの長さに沿って軸方向に伸長する斜めのパターン で収容するようになされたマンドレルを準備する工程を備えることを特徴とする 、方法。 19. 請求項14の方法において、 ニッケル/チタン合金から形成された金属ワイヤのストランドを準備する工程 を備えることを特徴とする、方法。 20. 閉塞した体腔を処置するための装置であって、 交差領域まで伸長する一連の細長いストランドによって形成された幾何学的パ ターンのセルを有する壁構造を有する管状のボディと、互いの周囲で螺旋状に巻 かれた前記ストランドの部分によって形成された交差領域に位置するインターロ ックジョイントとを含む、人工器官と、 前記体腔の所望の部位まで体内を通して供給するように、前記人工器官をコン パクトな状態で収容すると共に、前記人工器官が大きな直径まで膨張して、前記 所望の部位において前記体腔に係合することを許容するように構成された、供給 カテーテルとを備えることを特徴とする、装置。 21. 請求項20の装置において、前記供給カテーテルが、前記供給の間に、 前記人工器官をコンパクトな形態で保持するように構成された、シースを備える ことを特徴とする、装置。 22. 請求項20の装置において、前記インターロックジョイントは、前記ス トランドの螺旋状に巻かれた部分の螺旋部の軸線が、前記管状のボディに対して ほぼ円周方向に配向されるように、構成されたことを特徴とする、装置。 23. 請求項22の装置において、前記インターロックジョイントは、前記イ ンターロックジョイントは、当該人工器官が変化する半径方向の圧縮力を受けた 時に、前記ストランドの螺旋状に巻かれた部分が、相対的に移動し、且つ、前記 セル構造を維持するように、構成されていることを特徴とする、装置。 24. 請求項23の装置において、前記インターロックジョイントは、前記ス トランドが360°で一回だけ螺旋状に巻かれるように、構成されていることを 特徴とする、装置。 25. 請求項24の装置において、前記ストランドは、ニッケル/チタン合金 から成る金属ワイヤであることを特徴とする、装置。 26. 請求項25の装置において、胆管系に使用されるように構成され、完全 に膨張した時の直径が、約10mmであり、約9フレンチの直径まで収縮可能で あることを特徴とする、装置。 27. 体腔を処置するための方法であって、 交差領域まで伸長する一連の細長いストランドによって形成された幾何学的パ ターンのセルを有する壁構造を有する管状のボディと、互いの周囲で螺旋状に巻 かれた前記ストランドの部分によって形成された交差領域に位置するインターロ ックジョイントとを含む、人工器官と、 前記体腔の所望の部位まで体内を通して供給するように、前記人工器官をコン パクトな状態で収容すると共に、前記人工器官が大きな直径まで膨張して、前記 所望の部位において前記体腔に係合することを許容するように構成された、供給 カテーテルと、 前記人工器官を前記カテーテルの周囲で前記部位まで供給する工程と、 前記部位において前記人工器官を解放する工程とを備えることを特徴とする、 方法。 28. 請求項27の方法において、 前記人工器官を準備して、該人工器官を極めて曲がりくねったベンドまで供給 することにより、前記ベンドを有する体腔を処置する方法を含むことを特徴とす る、方法。 29. 請求項28の方法において、前記ベンドが、80°乃至90°に達する ことを特徴とする、方法。
