〔目的〕従来はサイズの異なるカンナ刄を3枚使用した
のに対し、同寸、同大のもの4枚組のものを部分環状に
配置した装置に代えた。その目的はそれらのカンナ刄物
(別名、平刄)相互間の互換を容易にして切れ味の向上
を計り、加えてそれらの物の量産化を計るにある。
〔構成〕図8に示す如く、4枚とした。
〔効果〕切れ味が格段に向上すると共に、磨耗、刄の切
換したものを現品相互間、新古相互間でたやすく実施で
き、また、量産ができる。
