(57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To enable detection of grounding of a power-generating brake resistor, and even when the power-generating brake resistor is grounded,
To provide an electric vehicle control device capable of operating an inverter normally and continuously operating an electric vehicle. SOLUTION: A series circuit of a generator brake resistor 6 and a generator brake chopper 5 is connected to an overhead wire via a pantograph 1, a circuit breaker 2, a reactor 3 and a current detector 4, and the generator brake chopper 5 is connected to a high voltage side. Also, the generator brake resistor 6 is connected to the ground side. Further, the capacitor 7 and the inverter circuit 8 are connected in parallel to the series circuit. With the above configuration, it can be detected by the current detector 4 that the insulation of the power generation brake resistor 6 is lowered and is grounded.
Further, since the generator brake resistor 6 is connected to the high voltage side via the generator brake chopper 5, even if the ground of the generator brake resistor 6 is lowered, the inverter circuit 8 is not directly affected.

Further, the current detector 4 is connected between the ground side of the chopper circuit and the inverter circuit 8 and the ground. During braking of the electric vehicle, the induction motor 9 operates as an induction generator, and the AC power generated by the induction generator is converted to DC by the inverter circuit 8 and connected to the overhead line through the circuit breaker 2 and the pantograph 1. , Consumed with another load.

On the other hand, when the electric vehicle runs in the off-road zone, is driven in the early morning and late at night, and the other load connected to the overhead line is small, the electric power generated by the induction motor 9 cannot be consumed. Therefore, the chopper 5 for the power-generating brake is operated to cause a current to flow through the power-generating brake resistor 6, where electric power is consumed to continue the electric brake.

Therefore, there are the following problems. Unlike the above-ground equipment, since the above-mentioned power generation brake resistor 6 is mounted under the floor or roof of an electric vehicle via an insulator, there is a high possibility that it will be affected by dirt, snow, etc., and insulation may deteriorate. .

For this reason, even if the insulation of the power-generating brake resistor is lowered due to the influence of dirt, snow, or the like and it is grounded, it does not affect the inverter circuit 8. Claim 2 of the present invention
According to the invention of (1), since the configuration (2) is adopted, it is possible to detect that the power generation brake resistor is grounded by the current detector.

Therefore, when the insulation of the power-generating brake resistor 6 mounted under the floor or on the roof of the electric vehicle via an insulator is lowered due to the influence of dirt, snow, etc., and grounded, the current detector 4 receives a ground current. Since it flows, it is possible to detect grounding. Further, even when the chopper 5 for power generation brake, the power generation brake resistor 6, the capacitor 7, the inverter circuit 8, and the induction motor 9 connected to the ground side with respect to the current detector 4 are grounded, grounding is detected. It becomes possible.
