On the other hand, the image forming body is a thin photosensitive drum,
Although the end is press-fitted with a flange member, deformation occurs at that time and is constantly pushed by the abutment roller of the sleeve roller, so the degree of deformation is further promoted. In order to prevent the deformation, the shapes of the drum-shaped image forming body and the flange member are variously devised, and a means for maintaining the processing accuracy and the assembly accuracy is taken in order to connect the both concentrically without distortion. Skilled skills are required, and the cost and effect are not sufficient.

This FIG. 2 can be said to be a partial cross-sectional view showing the structure around the photosensitive drum, in which both ends of the photosensitive drum 10 are flange members 10A and 10B, which are concentric and have no center runout so that uniform and correct rotation is achieved. In addition to being able to do so, the assembly and adjustment can be performed in the simplest possible state.

That is, since the photosensitive drum 10 is molded of plastic by the centrifugal polymerization method except for the one made of glass, the dimensional accuracy of the outer diameter is high. Therefore, by fitting the flange members 10A and 10B on the basis of the outer diameter of the photosensitive drum 10, it is possible to relatively easily perform highly accurate coupling in which the runout is less likely to occur.

At the same time, the flange member 10 is formed on the outer diameter portion of the photosensitive drum 10 as shown in the perspective views of FIGS.
A and 10B are lightly press-fitted to each other, and the flange member 10
The pressing member 1 provided integrally with the flange members 10A and 10B from the inside of the A and 10B at a position corresponding to the contact surface of the abutment roller 131 of the inner diameter portion of the photosensitive drum 10.
The flange member 1 so that 0K elastically contacts.
It is formed integrally with 0A and 10B. Flange member 1
As described above, the gear 10T is integrally and concentrically provided on the 0B. The contact roller 131 is a sleeve roller 13.
The rollers provided concentrically at both ends of the photosensitive drum 1
The distance between the sleeve rollers 130 at the developing position is defined with respect to zero. The abutting force of the abutting roller is considerably large, which may cause deformation and distortion of the thin photosensitive drum.
The photosensitive drum is reinforced by 0A and 10B so that the correct shape is always maintained stably.

However, even under such a condition, when the image exposing device 12 is arranged around the image forming body, that is, the photosensitive drum 10, in particular, the image exposing device 12 is supported by the supporting pair 20. High-quality images cannot be obtained unless they are attached and adjusted in the correct positions. And, since the adjustment is adjustment of many members incorporated in a narrow space, many difficulties are involved.

The adjustment is performed by the focus position (position in the height direction),
Although the position in the main scanning direction and the position in the sub-scanning direction are correctly determined, the focus position is required to have an accuracy of ± 0.1 mm, so that the exposure optical system 12 as each image exposing means is partially processed and assembled and supported. When the exposure optical system 12 as each image exposure means and the supporting member 20 are assembled to the image forming apparatus main body 1, the exposure optical system as each image exposure means is left to the precision of the partial processing and assembly of the member 20. Reference numeral 12 adjusts only the amount of movement in and out of the sub-scanning direction, that is, the parallelism with respect to the photosensitive drum 10, and after the parallelism is adjusted, the displacements in the main scanning direction and the sub-scanning direction are electrically timed with reference to it. This is adjusted by shifting to remove color misregistration and density unevenness. By the way, the required accuracy in the main scanning direction and the sub-scanning direction is ± 40μ when the image finishing accuracy is 300 dpi.
