Description of the Related Art There are two types of hoods of the type described above, which cover the open end of the air passage on the outdoor side and cover the open end of the air passage on the indoor side. The former is also called a weather cover, and its main function is to prevent intrusion of wind and rain from the outdoor opening edge. The latter is a kitchen hood, etc., whose main function is to collect rising oil smoke and guide it to the open end. Although they have different functions, they are almost the same in outer shape, and most of them have a hollow hood type having a top plate part and a left and right side plate part that are continuous from the top face to the front face or in an arc surface.

As shown in FIG. 7, it can be mounted by screwing it onto a wooden frame or the like of the open end 2 using the mounting holes 24 formed at four corners which overlap each other. By attaching the mounting flanges 7, 12, 20 to each other and screwing the mounting flanges 7, 12, the mounting state of the weather cover becomes stable. Since the flanges 16 formed on the left and right edge portions of the top plate portion 5 on the side of the mounting flange 12 are in close contact with the outer surfaces of the side plate portions 3 and 4 from the outside, intrusion of rainwater is prevented. Although the front side locking structure portion is not covered by the flange 16, it has a vertical surface configuration that draws an arc and is located away from the opening end 2 to the front, so the rainproof function is not so necessary. .

る。The spring-back of the elastic locking piece 26 connecting the members to each other has a functionally lower problem than the connection of the members by bending the claws 13, but the holding force of the connection is slightly lower. In the weather cover, the front portion of the top plate portion 5 is likely to receive an external force due to a collision such as an external wind or a ball, and if the holding force for connection of this portion is increased, the top plate portion 5 may come off due to such external force. This can be prevented and the structural stability can be improved. That is, in the third embodiment, the bendable claw 13 is arranged on the front surface side of the top plate portion 5. Since the external force is not applied to the top plate 5 on the upper side, the elastic locking piece 2
A claw 25 with 6 is arranged. Of course, two types of claws 13 and 25 may be mixed in the entire area of the edge. The other configurations, functions, and advantages are the same as those of the first and second embodiments, and therefore description thereof will be omitted.

The weather cover of the fourth embodiment shown in FIG.
The flange 16 formed by bending a part of the edge of the top plate portion 5 shown in (3) is formed over the entire length of the edge of the top plate portion 5 to provide the entire rainproof function. Regarding the locking structure, the claws 13 and 25 shown in the first and second embodiments are used alone or in combination. However, the flange 16 is the top plate portion 5 in a series.
Since it will not turn, it is divided at several places. Further, since the claws 13 and 25 cannot be associated with the fitting hole 10 unless they are located inside the flange 16, the angle-type separate member 1 in which the claws 13 and 25 are formed is not formed integrally.
It is provided by fixing 7 to the edge of the top plate portion 5. However, if the claws 13 and 25 are formed at the cut portions of the flange 16 as shown in FIG. 14, the claws 13 and 25 can be integrally formed on the top plate portion 5, and the separate member 17 is not required. . The left and right side plate portions 3 and 4 are formed with a face having a width corresponding to the width of the flange 16 obtained by dividing the upper surface, the front surface, and the joint surface, not the arc shape. The rest of the configuration is the same as in the first, second, and third embodiments, so description thereof will be omitted.
