The gap (3) was often formed due to the fact that the sliding door (1) and the vertical frame member (2) for the sliding door were not completely parallel. In addition, for the frame material having such a structure, it is necessary to adjust the width of the vertical frame material for the sliding door to a slightly different wall thickness depending on the construction method and the site, and it is necessary to prepare frame materials of various widths. For this reason, there was a tendency for the types of frame materials to necessarily increase.

Something to make it less noticeable. However, this means has the drawback that the door stop (4) protrudes from the frame material, so that the effective width of the opening is narrowed, the appearance is unsightly, and the number of members increases.

By doing so, the light leaking from the gap was refracted and made inconspicuous. Since this means does not provide a door stop, the effective width of the opening is not reduced and the number of members is not increased. However, the provision of the groove (5) in the vertical frame member (2) for the sliding door has a drawback that the effective thickness of the vertical frame member (2) for the sliding door is reduced and the strength may be reduced. Was.

As shown in (2), the frame material body (7) divided into two parts is attached according to the thickness of the wall, and the covering material (9) is provided in the gap (8).
Has been devised and put to practical use, but has the disadvantage that the frame material is divided into two parts, and the strength of the frame material is reduced.

The height of the wall and the length of the leg portion (12) of the width adjusting member (11) have been devised so as to be able to cope with the thickness of the wall as much as possible.

Further, in the frame material shown in FIG. 13 in which the door stop shown in FIG. 9 is combined with the one using the width adjusting material shown in FIG. 12, the structure becomes complicated, the number of parts increases, and the work takes time and effort. However, there was a problem that the cost was high. Therefore, the structure is simple, the number of members is small, the width can be adjusted according to the thickness of the wall of the opening,
There is a need to develop a frame material that is easy to install, does not require time and effort, has a good finish, and is beautiful in appearance.

By providing an insertion member that can be inserted into the concave portion of the main member and provided on the edge of the main member side of the width adjustment member, the width adjustment member slides in the width direction with respect to the main member, The width can be adjusted according to the thickness of the wall of the opening, and a convex portion for door stop is formed on the surface of the main member near the width adjusting material to refract or block light leaking from the gap between the door and the frame. I have to do that.
