Description of the Related Art In general, a toothed pulley is provided with teeth a and grooves b alternately arranged at equal intervals in a circumferential direction as shown in FIG. Used. That is, as schematically shown in FIG. 16, the tooth portion a of the toothed pulley A meshes with the belt tooth c of the toothed belt B, and for example, by transmitting the rotational force of the pulley A to the belt B, Traveling the attached belt B to convey articles,
Or transmitting power to other pulleys.

Therefore, the belt B deviates from the pulley A as it is, and in order to avoid the deviation, flanges d and d are provided on both outer sides in the axial direction of the pulley A (only the left flange d is shown in the figure). It is common to provide That is,
Since the groove side surfaces e and e of the respective groove portions b are formed by portions of both flanges d and d corresponding to both sides in the belt width direction of the respective groove portions b, each belt tooth c which has entered each of the groove portions b is formed.
Can contact the groove side surface e to regulate the movement of the toothed belt B in the belt width direction, thereby preventing the belt B from deviating. Further, the outer peripheral inner surfaces of the two flanges d, d are axially outwardly (upward in the figure) in the axial direction (the left and right directions in the figure) so that each belt tooth c can smoothly enter the groove b. ) Are provided, and the inclined surfaces f, f having a tapered cross section are provided.

Rubbing, and this has the disadvantage of increasing noise. For example, when each belt tooth c enters each groove portion b, the side surface of each belt tooth c enters while rubbing against the inclined surface f of the flange d and the groove side surface e. It happens.

Thus, the contact area between the flange of the toothed pulley and the side surface of each tooth of the toothed belt is reduced, so that the rubbing noise can be reduced.

I did not do it. Furthermore, by cutting each belt tooth side of the toothed belt, the contact between each belt tooth side and the groove side surface is made more reliable, and each belt tooth side and the flange inclined surface are mutually separated. Avoided contact.

When the meshing starts, each belt tooth enters each groove while rubbing the belt side surface of the toothed belt against the flange of the pulley.

Therefore, the contact between the side surface of each belt tooth and the flange (groove side surface) forming the discontinuous portion of the unevenness when viewed from the side surface of the belt is reduced, and the rubbing noise is reduced accordingly.

Further, the side of the belt body comes into contact with the flange on the tip end surface of the tooth portion by the amount that the side surface of each belt tooth does not contact the groove side surface, so the belt width direction on the pulley of the toothed belt is The positioning is performed by the side surface of the belt body abutting on the flange, unlike the conventional case in which each belt tooth side abuts on the groove side surface.

At the beginning of the meshing, they move radially inward, and at the end of the meshing, they move radially outward. At this time, each cutout is formed so as to extend radially outward from the flange groove side surface to the outer periphery of the flange, so that each belt tooth side surface is formed in the same manner as in the case of the first aspect of the present invention. In addition to reducing the contact area with the groove side surface, the contact area between each belt tooth side surface and the flange outer periphery also decreases. Therefore, the rubbing noise between each belt tooth side surface and the flange is further reduced. Further, since the cut portion is formed so as to extend the flange outward in the radial direction, the formability of the flange portion having the cut portion is improved at the time of manufacturing the toothed pulley.

As in the case of the second invention, the rubbing noise is further reduced, and the moldability of the flange portion at the time of manufacturing the toothed pulley is improved.

As a belt transmission device composed of a combination with a toothed belt having a plurality of belt teeth at equal intervals, both sides of the belt including both sides of each of the above-mentioned belt teeth have a belt width direction dimension (tooth width) on the tip side. It is formed in a shape cut so as to be smaller than the belt width direction dimension (belt width) on the back side of the belt.

Therefore, the contact area between the side surface of the belt teeth and the flange is reduced by the above-described cut shape. Thus, the non-contact state between the belt tooth side surface and the flange is further ensured. In addition, the contact area between each belt tooth side and the outer periphery of the flange is reduced according to the cut shape, so that the rubbing noise between each belt tooth side and the flange is further reduced.

When the toothed belt 10 wound around the toothed pulley 1 is running and each of the belt teeth 10b of the belt 10 and each tooth 3 of the pulley 1 begin to mesh, the side surface of the belt 10 has a flange. The size is reduced by the size of the resection portion 7. Accordingly, there is no contact between the side surface of each belt tooth 10b, which forms a discontinuous portion of the unevenness when viewed from the side surface of the belt, and the groove side surface portion of the flange 6, and the rubbing noise is reduced accordingly.

Therefore, the positioning of the toothed belt 10 in the belt width direction on the pulley 1 is different from the conventional method in which the side surface of each belt tooth contacts the flange, and the side surface of the belt main body 10a contacts the flange 6. When the belt teeth 10b of the toothed belt 10 enter and exit the respective groove portions 4 of the toothed pulley 1, the respective belt teeth 10b
Moves in the radial direction of the pulley 1 with respect to the flange 6. At this time, since the cutout portion 7 is formed so as to extend radially outward of the flange 6, the area where the side surfaces of the belt teeth 10 b contact the flange 6 at the time of the above-mentioned approach and retreat is small. The area where the side surface of 10b contacts the flange inclined surface 6a can be reduced, and the rubbing noise can be further reduced. Further, since the cutout 7 is formed so as to extend radially outward of the flange 6, the formability of the flange member 5 having the cutout 7 is improved when the toothed pulley 1 is manufactured. There is also a merit that you can do it.

In the toothed pulley provided with a pair of flanges provided in the above, a cutout portion opened toward each groove portion is provided in a portion corresponding to both axial sides of each groove portion in both flanges. Therefore, the contact area between the side surface of the groove and the side surface of each belt tooth can be reduced by the amount of the cut portion, and the rubbing noise generated by the contact between the flange and the side surface of each belt tooth can be reduced.

As a belt transmission device including a combination with a toothed belt, both side surfaces of the belt body including both side surfaces of each of the belt teeth are such that a belt width direction dimension on a tooth tip side is smaller than a belt width direction dimension on a belt rear side. Since it is formed in a cut shape, not only can the contact between the belt tooth side and the flange be made more reliable, but also the belt tooth side and the flange inclined surface according to the cut shape. The contact area between the belt teeth and the flange can be further reduced since the contact area between the belt teeth and the flange can be further reduced.
