Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high-input resistance and high linearity by making the shape of outer diameter of a damper which holds a middle part of a voice coil quadrangular and providing adjacent lines with space. SOLUTION: A damper 31 centrally holds a middle part of a voice coil 30 which drives a diaphragm 29, utilizes a space of a frame 26 in a direction of length and unites with a magnetic gap 25, putting itself into the gap 25. A dust cap is attached to the top of the coil 30. The damper 31 has down semicircular, down roll-type corrugation parts 31A in a direction of length and up semicircular, up roll-type corrugation parts in a direction of breadth with the corrugation parts of the same shape facing with each other. A flat surface of the damper 31 is quadrangular, and the damper 31 has some space on its diagonal lines except their ends. Therefore, the damper 31 separately secures the degree of freedom of vibrations for up and down roll-type corrugation parts.
