上述の様に構成される本発明の回転速度検出装置付転がり軸受ユニットは、懸架装置に支持された図示しない軸に前記１対の内輪１７、１７を外嵌固定すると共に、外輪１３の外周面に形成したフランジ１５に従動輪のホイールを支持固定する。又、上記懸架装置或は軸の一部等、回転しない部分に上記センサ２８を、上記エンコーダ２１を構成する第一の永久磁石２３及び第二の永久磁石２４の間部分に対向させた状態で設置する。上記従動輪が回転すると、このセンサ２８が、逆方向に流れる磁束が交互に通過する事を検知して、上記従動輪と共に回転する外輪１３の回転速度を検出する。
