2. Description of the Related Art For many years, pipes such as gas pipes and water pipes buried in the ground have been eroded and deteriorated due to their long laying, and leakage from pinholes and other defective parts is concerned. You. Further, if a part of the corroded aging pipe is left unattended, if soil or sand enters the pipe from a part thereof, the ground may collapse. There are a variety of solutions, the most common of which is to remove aging pipes from the ground.
One of the methods for removing old pipes is to cut open a part of the old pipe in the circumferential direction without excavation, break it, and pull out fragments from the ground. However, when the old pipe is broken, a considerable driving force is required to move the broken member in the pipe due to the wall thickness of the old pipe. For this reason, the driving source becomes large, and the working environment including noise may deteriorate.

Therefore, instead of such a method, there has been proposed a method of grasping one end of an old pipe, pulling the end on the gripped side to advance the pipe, and pulling out the old pipe from the ground. In this method, a shaft which is a work pit required for drawing out the deteriorated pipe is excavated, a drawing device is arranged in the shaft, and a cutter for cutting the drawn deteriorated tube is arranged. When the old pipe whose part is grasped is pulled out with a predetermined stroke, the process of cutting the portion exposed in the shaft by the cutter is repeated to remove the old pipe in the ground. The cavity after the aged pipe is removed is filled with a backfill material such as sand or foamed resin to prevent the ground from sinking.

However, the above-mentioned removal method has the following problems. In other words, the deteriorated pipes that constitute the pipeline may be connected by a joint in the middle of the pipe. There is a possibility of falling out. If the end of the old pipe comes off at the joint, the phenomenon cannot be detected, and the old pipe may remain in the ground.
In addition, the length of cutting is limited due to the arrangement of the extraction device and the cutter in the same shaft. For this reason,
In order to reduce the repetition of the pulling-out operation and the cutting operation by lengthening the cut length, the shaft must be enlarged, and the excavation operation becomes large.

Before the aging tube 1 is pushed out, the driving source 5 has a pressing member 6 attached to the tip of the operating member. The pressing member 6 is opposed to one end of the deteriorated pipe 1 exposed from the wall surface of the first shaft 2, and is buried in the soil while holding the deteriorated pipe 1 that has entered the chuck member 6A. The aged pipe 1 is moved by a stroke in a pushing direction (a direction indicated by an arrow in FIG. 1). One end of the deteriorated pipe 1 that has entered the chuck member 6A has its end face abutted on a receiving surface (not shown) inside the chuck member 6A, and its outer peripheral surface is gripped, so that it is parallel to the extrusion direction. Is set so that it can be moved to. That is, a gap is not formed between the inner peripheral surface of the chuck member 6A and the outer peripheral surface of the deteriorated pipe 1, so that one end of the deteriorated pipe 1 is not inclined when the deteriorated pipe 1 is extruded. . As a result, the aging pipe 1 is
When extruded, the one end does not tilt, so that the generation of a component force generated when the end is tilted is prevented, and the extruding force is directly used as the thrust for extrusion.

When the other end of the aged pipe 1 is exposed to the second shaft 3 due to the forward movement of the drive source 5, the other end is cut by the cutter 9. When the cutting work of the other end of the deteriorated pipe 1 is completed,
The pressing member 6 and the operating member of the driving source 5 are separated, and in this state, the driving source 5 is moved back and only the operating member is moved to the forward movement start position. As illustrated in FIG. 3, a new pressing member 6 is fastened to the operating member that has returned to the forward movement start position, and is added to the operating member. The drive source 5 moves forward again to push out the deteriorated pipe 1. Hereinafter, by repeating the reciprocating operation of the drive source 5, adding the new pressing member 6 at the time of the backward movement, and cutting the other end of the deteriorated pipe 1 by repeating,
The buried aging pipe 1 can be removed by moving it toward the second shaft 3 over the entire length of the buried section.

According to the above-described embodiment, unlike the conventional method of cutting the end of the old pipe 1 in the first shaft 2 in which the device for pulling and driving the old pipe 1 is disposed, the end to be cut is Since the portion is the end located on the side of the second shaft 3, the work space required for cutting is not consumed for occupying the device for towing. Thereby, even when the size of the first shaft 2 is limited, the reciprocating stroke of the drive source 5 can be increased, and the pushing-out amount of the deteriorated pipe 1 by the pressing member 6 is increased to remove the deteriorated pipe 1. The time can be shortened.

As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, by moving the driving source forward while extending the pressing member, the aging of the buried pipe is irrespective of the length of the buried pipe. The tube can be pressed and moved toward the second shaft. For this reason, since only the pressing force from the drive source acts on the deteriorated pipe, unlike the case where the deteriorated pipe is pulled out, the deteriorated pipe does not fall out of the joint portion and remains in the ground. This makes it possible to completely remove the deteriorated pipe to be removed over the entire length even if a joint is interposed in the middle of the pipe. According to the first aspect of the present invention,
Since the drive source used to remove the deteriorated pipe is located in a different shaft than the shaft that cuts the end of the deteriorated pipe, it is necessary to perform the extruding and cutting work of the deteriorated pipe in the same shaft. And the size of the shaft can be reduced to the minimum size required for installation of the driving source. As a result, the work time required for excavating the shaft can be reduced,
Excavation work can be reduced.
