[0004] The inventors of the present invention have repeatedly studied whether the above problem can be solved at all, and as a result, one of the causes of the above problem has been found.
Finally, plants growing in contact with the surface of the structure (i.e., vines) are applied to ceramics, metal, and other outer surfaces of tiles and concrete mortar that constitute the outermost layers of modern buildings. It has been found that, in many cases, repellency is exhibited with respect to the applied high-hardness coating film and the like, and the present invention has been achieved.

Since the plant growing aid of the present invention is provided with a water-absorbing portion made of a water-absorbing material as an intermediate layer, it protects the root attached to the vine plant, the whisker or the aerial root from drying, and the aerial root has a water-absorbing portion. Water, such as rainwater and dew, held in the water. In addition, by covering the surface of the building with the material of the present invention that retains a suitable amount of water, rapid changes in the temperature of the building surface due to sunlight and fluctuations in the outside air can be alleviated, and the environment near the plants can be maintained in a favorable state.

Since it is made of a net-like sheet made of natural fibers and has a wood-like shape, it has good affinity with plants, and the tip of a vine of a vine plant can be easily caught. Furthermore, due to the natural fiber, it will be reduced to nutrients and humus in the soil by microbial decomposition in the future.

Since the water-absorbing material in the water-absorbing section is attached to both the front and back layers (both mesh sheets) by the resin binder, it is further subjected to a heating roll treatment or a hot plate pressing treatment as a final step. As a result, the surface layer, the intermediate layer, and the back layer are firmly fixed, and are not easily peeled off by an external impact such as wind and rain.

m (more preferably 2 to 5 mm) and a porosity of preferably 90 to 98%. When the thickness is less than 1 mm or when the porosity exceeds 98%, it is difficult to sufficiently adhere the water-absorbing material in the next step.
If it exceeds 0 mm, and if the porosity is less than 90%,
Not only is the compression process in the final step difficult, but in the compressed state, the mesh of the mesh sheet is likely to be clogged, which hinders the movement of water from the water-absorbing section through the mesh. Possibilities arise.

A water-absorbing material is attached to the mesh sheet via a resin binder. The resin-based binder used in the present invention is not particularly limited, but is preferably made of a resin having excellent adhesiveness after drying since the water-absorbing material is attached as described above. Examples of such a resin include acrylate resin emulsions (polymethyl methacrylate, polyethyl methacrylate, polypropyl methacrylate, polybutyl methacrylate, polymethyl acrylate, polyethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate-acrylic) Alkyl (meth) acrylate compounds such as methyl acrylate copolymer, methyl methacrylate-ethyl methacrylate copolymer, methyl methacrylate-butyl methacrylate copolymer, methyl methacrylate-ethyl acrylate copolymer Homopolymer or copolymer emulsions) or other thermoplastic resin emulsions are preferred. The viscosity of the binder is 300 to 10,000 cp.
It is preferably s. In addition, conventionally well-known tackifiers can also be appropriately added.

As the water-absorbing synthetic resin, any known resin can be used and is not particularly limited. Specific examples thereof include polyacrylate, acrylonitrile derivative, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylamide, starch-acrylonitrile polymer or hydrolyzate thereof, starch-acrylic acid (salt) graft copolymer, Examples include carboxydimethylcellulose, a hydrolyzate of methyl (meth) acrylate-vinyl acetate copolymer, and a crosslinked product such as cellulose-sodium acrylate-graft copolymer. The resin is made of a water-absorbing material (eg, glycol, water-soluble). Use of a composite material to which an inorganic substance, starch or the like is added does not impede the present invention. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more. In addition, among these, in terms of high water absorption and high water absorption speed,
It is preferable to use a crosslinked product of polyacrylate.

[0026] The water absorbent material, net-like sheets 1 m 2 per at a rate of 100 to 400 g, are sheet surface evenly spread, thereby, the water absorption portion which forms a sheet at one side of the net-like sheets are formed. When the amount of spray per 1 m 2 of the net-like sheet is less than 100 g, the amount of water absorption decreases,
Insufficient water supply to plants is a concern. On the other hand, when the amount exceeds 400 g, the water absorption increases, so that the strength of the plant growing aid decreases. The preferred range is 200 to 3

The thickness of the finally obtained plant growth promoting material of the present invention is preferably 1 to 5 mm. 1
If it is less than 5 mm, there is a possibility that a problem that the density is excessively increased and the water absorption rate is reduced may occur. If it is more than 5 mm, there is a possibility that the bonding between the front and back surfaces becomes insufficient and a problem occurs that the film is peeled off during use.

The wall of the section A was coated with the plant growing aid A, the wall of the section B was coated with the plant growing aid B, and the wall of the section C was coated with coconut mat X (the fixing method was a butyl rubber-based material). The four sides were bonded with double-sided tape, and the upper two parts were fixed with metal fittings). The wall of the section D was left uncovered without any coating.

Four planters were planted with a crane plant (Hedera helix “Pittsburgh” of the family Rugaceae), and were placed so as to be in close contact with the wall surfaces of the sections A to D, respectively. The plants were watered once every three days. The evaluation after 60 days is shown in the following [Table 1].

Water retention test Relationship between time and water retention in the plant growth promoting material A obtained in Production Example 1, the plant growth promoting material B obtained in Production Example 2, and the palm mat X obtained in Production Example 3 ( Changes in water content over time) were measured. The measuring method was 10 cm × 10 cm for the plant growth promoting materials A and B and palm mat X.
cm, and a total of 9 samples of 3 samples each were used. Each sample was separately immersed in an acrylic container filled with water at a water temperature of 18 ° C. After 1 hour, it was taken out and left at room temperature (20 ° C.) on a wire mesh to remove excess water. After 5 minutes, the weight measurement was started and the measurement was performed until the water retention reached 0%. The results are shown in FIG. The reason why the water retention rate of the plant growth promoting material B rapidly decreased after 2 hours has elapsed is as follows.
It is considered that the peeling of the layer caused the drying speed to increase and that the water-absorbing material partially dropped off.
