Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plaster having excellent pasting operability by laminating a tacky adhesive layer composed of a tacky adhesive base composed mainly of a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer on one surface of a supporting material. SOLUTION: This plaster is produced by laminating a tacky adhesive layer on one surface of a supporting material composed of a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric. The tacky adhesive layer is composed of a tacky adhesive base containing a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer as a main component, a drug, a tackifying resin and a liquid paraffin. The solution viscosity of the tacky adhesive base is 1,500-2,000 cps (25 deg.C, 25 wt.% toluene solution) and the amounts of the tackifying resin and the liquid paraffin are 85-160 pts.wt. and 180-270 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the tacky adhesive base, respectively. A plaster stably keeping excellent tacky adhesive force and applicability over a long period can be produced by using a tacky adhesive base having a solution viscosity falling within the above range.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive constituting the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes:
For example, a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, a tackifier resin, and a softener is known (JP-A-60-223880). However, when the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is applied to a support made of a woven or nonwoven fabric, the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition tends to sink into the support over time, and as a result, there is a problem that the adhesive strength is reduced. .

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail. The adhesive base has a styrene-isoprene-styrene block (hereinafter, referred to as SIS) copolymer as a main component. The solution viscosity of the adhesive base is limited to 1,500-2,000 cps. When the solution viscosity is less than 1,500 cps, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer easily sinks into the support over time, and as a result, the adhesive strength decreases. The solution viscosity is 2,000 c
If it exceeds ps, the coating becomes difficult because the viscosity becomes too high. The solution viscosity is a value measured at 25 ° C. and a 25% by weight toluene solution according to JIS K7117.

The tackifying resin is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include a rosin resin, a polyterpene resin,
Coumarone-indene resin, petroleum resin, terpene-phenol resin, alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin and the like can be mentioned.
Of these, alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resins are preferably used because they exhibit a tackifying effect without excessively reducing the cohesive force of the adhesive base.

When the amount of the tackifying resin used is large, the adhesive force tends to change with time, and the peeling force becomes strong, causing pain at the time of peeling. Since the initial adhesive strength is reduced, it is preferably 85 to 160 parts by weight, more preferably 90 to 150 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the adhesive base.

The above liquid paraffin is used as a softener. The amount of liquid paraffin used, although the change in adhesive strength with time is small, the adhesive layer becomes hard and the peeling strength increases, and when it increases, the liquid paraffin bleeds out,
Since the sticking property is deteriorated, the amount is preferably 180 to 270 parts by weight, more preferably 190 to 250 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the adhesive base.

The content of the above-mentioned drug varies depending on the kind of the drug, the purpose of use of the patch and the like. However, when the content is small, sufficient skin permeability cannot be obtained and the therapeutic effect is reduced, and when the content is large, crystals are formed in the adhesive layer. 0.1 to 30% by weight in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is preferable since the adhesiveness is reduced due to precipitation.

Typical examples include a hot melt coating method and the like, an emulsion coating method, a method using electron beam crosslinking, and the like. In order to produce the patch of the present invention by a solvent coating method, for example, an adhesive base, a tackifying resin, a drug, a softener and other various compounding agents are dissolved or dispersed in an appropriate solvent, and the obtained solution or dispersion is obtained. The liquid is applied directly to the surface of the support and dried to form an adhesive layer. Alternatively, this solution or dispersion may be coated on a protective release paper, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer obtained after drying may be adhered to a support.

In order to apply the patch of the present invention by a hot melt method, for example, an adhesive base, a tackifier resin, a drug, a softener and other various additives are mixed by heating and then mixed. The liquid is directly applied to the surface of the support and solidified by cooling to form an adhesive layer. This pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is brought into close contact with a protective release paper to obtain a target adhesive patch. Alternatively, the melt may be temporarily applied on release paper, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer obtained after cooling and solidifying may be adhered to a support.

The adhesive base and the patch obtained in the above Examples and Comparative Examples were evaluated for the performance in the following items, and the results are shown in Table 1. (1) Solution viscosity According to JIS K7117, 2
The solution viscosity of the 5% toluene solution at 25 ° C. was measured using a B-type viscometer. (2) Adhesive force (tack, ball rolling method) The adhesive force of the patch was measured in accordance with JIS Z0237. The size of the test piece was 2.5 cm in width × 5 cm in length, and the number described in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Guidelines for the ball stopped on the adhesive surface was measured. Immediately after production and at 60 ° C
The patch was measured after being stored for a week. (3) Peeling force A 180-degree peeling test was performed on the patch in accordance with JIS Z0237. The size of the test piece was 2.5 cm width x
The length was 5 cm.
